Uncle Al's Pizza Review

Pizza was really good! I had the Say Cheese and my husband had the Old Italian and a Chicken Caesar salad, which was huge for an individual serving.

What a HUGE HUGE disappointment this place is. I drove a half hour to get some of their chicken wings and pizza today. Employee says they have no wings ready ~ they are frozen solid. Okay.... so I order a double mushroom pizza, I pay for it with my debit card. Few minutes later the employee tells me there are no fresh mushrooms prepped either. WHAT? Okay.... forget it, I want to cancel my order and go to Jet s Pizza. Employee doesn t know how to cancel and/or refund my order. WHAT?? So he calls the boss who walks him through it and then I am told it can take as long as TWO WEEKS to get my card credited!!!
WHAAAAT? Seriously? All these people need are some floppy shoes and they d have a room full of clowns. I don t know what this place really is but I don t think it s a pizza place. Smh. Man has this place gone downhill

We ordered two fold over pizzas on Wednesday, August 12th. A family sized Chicken and a large pepperoni. Delivery kid brought us two pizzas 45 minutes later and was gone by the time we opened the boxes. We received our pepperoni fold over and a large mushroom pizza. On the side of the boxes we saw our street name on the fold over and another street on the mushroom pizza we did not order. I called back to the store and a kid answers. I explained what happened and he said he was calling the delivery driver so he would drop it off before he makes his other delivery. Wait 10 minutes and call back to see if they got ahold of him and the status. He informs me the driver is on his way back to pick it up and should drop it off in 10-15 minutes. Well, we waited 45 minutes and still nothing. I tried calling and phone kept ringing. Tried like 3 times. Just kept ringing. I called back with my cell phone which has a different caller ID and was answered after two rings. I ask to speak to the manager. Sounds like the same kid that I spoke to before. I ask where our pizza is and he doesn t answer. He said he has to wait for the delivery driver because he doesn t know. Proceeds to tell me that this was the first he heard of it. Never offered to have another one made and sent to us. I ask for a refund and he was more than happy to offer a refund to us. Never gives me a confirmation, just says they will do it. We try calling back to get confirmation and phone just rings and rings. So we drive up there to get a receipt of refund. He asks us the street name and goes in side room to retrieve our bill. He never put in the refund. If we wouldn t have gone up there we wouldn t have received our refund. Very disappointed! Always liked Uncle Al s, but this was deceitful, horrible service that could of easily been resolved had they just brought us our family sized chicken fold over.

We ordered from here for the first time last night. Pizza was amazing! So different from the typical chain pizza's. Sauce wasn't super sweet, just perfect. Lots of yummy cheese, made great leftovers! A one-of-a-kind taste. All 4 of us loved it and will order from again! Prices are decent too. The large isn't super huge, but very filling nonetheless.

Food was excellent! The pizza has excellent crust and the sauce is great too. And oh my goodness the onion rings are amazing! I live in Medina and would drive to get this pizza. 100% recommend!

Pasta bake did not have sauce all around just on one side of the carryout container. The cheese bread was dry. The chicken bacon cheese sandwich came on a hamburger bun and was just a microwave piece of breaded chicken. Delivery was fast!

I ordered a sub and cheese crust pizza which is the only pizza they make that I like. $25 tab The pizza by it self sucks it s the stuffed crust that makes it good. My issue was that I ordered a cheese crust pizza and got a normal crust. I called as soon as I got home and put the pizza on my plate. They told me they would give me $3 off the next pizza and asked me if I would like to place the order. I said what? They said they would knock $3 off the next pizza. I paid $17 for a pizza and they didn t delver what I ordered and tried to charge me $14 again for their mistake. I was a life long since childhood customer. I will never go back here again. Must have new owners or something. Pizza Hut and any major chain would never do that. They would make me a new pizza. Merry Christmas uncle Al.

We've loved the BLT foldover pizza for years. It's memorable and has become a tradition for my husband's birthday. Try the taco foldover and the cheeseburger foldover, too. SO good!

Ordered a large fold over and potato skins for a couple of us at work tonight. They charged us over $30 for the food, which was fine, and said 45 minutes to an hour until it was delivered. An hour and a half later, still no food. Called them to find out where our food was and the girl who answered the phone said to hold, placed the phone down and was chatting with a co-worker and laughing. Had me waiting a good 5 minutes. When she finally got back on the phone she said the driver just told her they don't deliver this far. We are 2 miles down the road from the pizza shop! She was rude and still hasn't refunded our money. I will be contacting management.

We are new to the area and we tried this place and not disappointed. The service was fast and pizza and wings very good. We have used them.now a few times and no problems .
