this place for outpatient is absolutely ridiculous in their support of out patients is the absolute worst. 9 phone calls 3 voicemails and still not anyone assisting with a patient refill for medications. What is someone to do? How is this support for patients? At this moment I am escalating this up through the program at the director level.
This place is okay I've been going here for 4 years however my psychiatrist dr. Belenker is very understanding of me he's honestly the only one I would see! However my therapist is a different story I don't think he quite understood something's I've told him instead he thinks I might be diagnosing myself? Disregarding of what I tell you of how I'm feeling you should take to heart and pay attention to!
The medical staff is very professional, helpful and caring as well the front desk staff. Unfortunately medical records is the most unprofessional and insensitive departments in healthcare I have witnessed. They have no sense of compassion working in healthcare especially with mental health patients.
For over 2 months the bathroom sink downstairs at entrance of building. Water is coming out of faucet at at least a gallon a minute. For months!!!! Rutgers university clearly doesn't care about our environment at all. Faucets for bathroom sinks are pretty cheap. Could of fixed it easily when the problem started. Rutgers is horrible when it comes to our environment
I love all the incredible professionals! Rutgers Behavior Healthcare is professional to the core! The cleaning ladies know what they're doing and do that everyday better! The security services! I know everybody here and I don't want to mention names but adjectives Outstanding!
Very unprofessional and lackluster therapist. It was my first appointment and it ended in five minutes. The lady seemed uninterested and rushed me off the phone asked me what I wanted to talk about and I wasn t sure so that was it. Spoke with the supervisor and he basically blamed me for not telling the therapist how to do their job. Please don t go into this field if your not passionate about it. People with issues are turning to you for help and you handle them very poorly. Will be reporting them.
I used to attend this program along with my late husband Very caring professional staff we enjoyed our time there.. I'll always appreciate them
Do not go here for therapy - look elsewhere. Extremely unprofessional staff and therapists. I scheduled a therapy session with one of their therapists who called 20 minutes late, hung up while she was dialing (I didn't even have enough time to pick up my phone), and left a voicemail saying to reschedule two months later when I was supposed to have two therapy sessions a month. I called the staff at UBHC asking to be reassigned to a different therapist and they said that they didn't want to do that because it would be "a lot of work" for them. Avoid this place at all costs - it will literally only worsen your mental health.
This place is so awesome the staff here is amazing. They don't just rush to get you out of there or doesn't pay attention to detail, they actually care about you welbeing and mental health. I just started going here but it feels like I've known them for years. I look forward to getting my life back on track with the support of this amazing establishment.
My reviews are up and down. First off, the staff is SO RUDE! Everytime I spoke with someone their attitude was definitely not what it should be when dealing with this kind of work. I had a therapist and psychiatrist. I only spoke with Iris once and I did not really connect with her. It was almost as if I was just stared at the whole time and that was it. Now my psychiatrist on the other hand Dr Agecha was AMAZING! I definitely connected with her. She knows I am against medication and she was helping me try to figure out other ways to cope with being a single working mom with nobody. Well last time I spoke with Dr Agecha was probably around June or July. It's been quite hectic with juggling work and virtual learning for the kids and everything. I received a letter stating I had to make an app or my case was closed. I repeatedly made attempts to call and left 2 voice-mails letting them know I needed an app scheduled. I called today and they told me my case was closed! How is this allowed? I guess the same way these rude receptionist are allowed the attitudes they have towards the patients! So unacceptable! Wish I could just talk to Dr Agesha personally without having to go through them!!!
Love the service here my psychiatrist is nice love my support group dr benson he's very nice & caring wish he was my therpiast but my therpiast I have is something else !! with her laughing problems when I talk to her , she act like something is personally wrong with her wired!!
Great asset to our Community giving our residents the care they need and deserve
I want to say thanks to the medical, nursing and social services staff for the care given to my daughter. The level of care has always been marked by professionalism, caring and compassion.
