Ukrops Homestyle Foods Review

They have overly processed food that is high in sodium,fat and cholesterol and on top of all that they have an old black man on all their packages but the company is owned by white men. SMH

Picked up a small wedding cake and it had a problem. No one in the bakery checked it before it was ready to be leave the facility and it had a big bubble in the fondant.
Lucky my husband had them open the box before he took it and found the problem.
They did fix it, but it took 30 to 40 minutes and it was the day of the wedding.
The cake tasted great, but you could see the problem.
I would use them again but always check your cake before you leave with it.

Love the Bar Cake. Better known when growing up as Ribbon Cake. I live in Va Beach...wish our Kroger sold it.

Ordered the Thanksgiving dinner. Pick up was a breeze and the food was delicious. It was so nice to spend time with the family instead of the oven! AWESOME service!

This is the best cake you will ever consume. My first Ukrops cake was for my 3 month birthday. 21 years later and I am STILL eating ukrops. I have searched high and low for a similar cake, but nothing. Unfortunately, I don't live in Richmond so I can only get it once a year - if that. Ukrops is the BEST!!

I ordered my daughters birthday cake online. Received a confirmation email and everything. When I get to Kroger to pick it up on her birthday, they tell me it was never delivered!! What?!

I am beyond livid right now! I know next time NOT to order from Ukrops again!! SMDH

Working with Terri at Ukrops was a breeze! I sent an email and they scheduled a time for us to pick up a tasting box. We picked the flavors we wanted and pandemic pickup was super easy! Terri then scheduled a call to discuss what we liked and what we wanted for our big day! She helped decide the number of tiers based on our guest count and serving size. We already wanted something simple so we were easily within budget! All the flavors were delicious but we went with the almond cake! The delivered beauty was EXACTLY what we wanted! Guests are still talking about how delicious it was...and we ve already eaten half the top tier from our freezer!

If you order thanksgiving food expect an hour long wait to pick up your food which is unacceptable.

Booked them for my wedding, and they did a variety of cupcakes as well as a pound cake, and everything was beautiful and delicious!

Best home cooked food on the go by far. If you're on the go , or being lazy and want some good home cooked food , ukrops is the product to go with. They make the best spinach Florentine quiche. Love it for breakfast .

My Kroger in Rocky Mount, Virginia, sells their prepared foods. I have enjoyed everything I have tried, but there's one item that exceeds any other. That is their chicken salad. It's very pricey at over $7 for about 12 ounces, but any other brand is a waste of money after eating theirs.

Bought a pound and a half of their "Grilled Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad" and I was pretty disappointed. The chicken was borderline overcooked and on the verge of rubbery/chewey, coupled with the fact that the noodles had either been undercooked and tried to 'soak up' the flavors of the surrounding products. They too were kind of that undercooked sticky texture and pretty much inedible in my opinion.

I expect a little more when I pay such premium prices for your products and this one fell way short of the mark.
