ACDF and was in hospital for a day and a half. They were outstanding! Best hospital that I've been in for my 58 years...

Receptionist and Drs lack understanding and empathy for patients. If you are a few minutes late, they will immediately reschedule you. I m handicap and couldn t find handicap parking, arrived on time, parked with 3 minutes before my appointment and I get to their office and the receptionist is quick to reschedule me. I was 15 minutes late. Left home at 7:20am and took over an hour to get there and I arrive a few minutes late and they say they need to reschedule. Receptionist asked Dr if he could see me and he said no. Btw... if you re new, you need to have a new packet filled out and yeah that wasn t given to me either before my appointment. Very disappointed.

NOT a good place to get a second opinion on a brain surgery. I shouldn't have to regret not sticking with my original doctor's opinion.

I had a brain surgery here in 2017 to try and stop my disabling seizures. I'm just now finding out from a surgeon in Denver that I had a stroke during the surgery and that UCLA didn't even remove what they said they were going to remove.

My new surgeon is guessing they had to stop the surgery due to the stroke, but I'm sure UCLA never documented that I had any complications so that they could keep up their surgeon's (whom I won't name) quality scores. I'm now due for ANOTHER surgery on Monday to finish what he started (and also because my seizures have worstened in severity and frequency) and I am confident that Denver will be honest with me about the details of my surgery afterwards.

I would be cautious having a surgery here for epilepsy as it seems they were not very honest with me. Not to mention, they would either never respond or give a vague answer to any of my questions after the surgery. Now I know why.

These guys are the best, they are true heroes! They fought the insurance company to make sure my daughter got the best surgery she could get. They really do care about what's best for the patient. I highly recommend them.
