An institution run purely to squeeze every penny out of students. Even the tutors say that it is run like a business - NOT an art school. Budget and staff cuts made my experience an utter disaster.

This is my final year at UCA. I'm Italian and I came here to study Fine Art.
It is really a good course, I don't think I would have had the same opportunities, facilities (OMG that library!) and university life in Italy.
The environment is really friendly and dynamic. The tutors like to challenge you, but in a good way and they are always supportive.

There are also units that try to prepare you for your future career, so that you don't feel lost at the end of your BA. Work placements and Study Abroad experiences are possible (I've done those! It is really good for your CV!)

Farnham is quiet and not too big -which I personally like. However, London is not that far! and this is good also for keeping you informed and updated about art exhibitions and what's happening in the creative industry...

I'm on a class and geramic course and so far find it to amazing with great tutor who is very excited to see what you make and come up with. If I was just judging the coarse then it would of been a 5 star but I'm also in the acomidations which are horrid, the place is a filfy mess from other people in the dorm but the accomidation staff dont do anything to make them start cleaning after themselves, they do not enforce the no smoking rules well. Finaly the fuses keep tripping making the plugs tern off on my floor, which has resulted in temporary problems for my pc.

I applied and was accepted for the foundation course at UCA Farnham a few years ago. I went to the taster day and it was so bad I decided not to attend. It was clear the tutors didn't want to be there. The facilities are grubby but if they'd had good staff I would have really enjoyed it. I really wanted to be inspired, I ended up being put off of the arts for a couple of years. It was that bad.

UCA Farnham is one of the best-equipped arts Campuses in the UK, personally I study Digital Film and Screen Arts meaning I have access to film studios, photography studios and any equipment I could need all at industry standard. Overall it s a very safe campus and has a great community feel to it meaning a friendly face is never far away. The student population is very small for a University but that does come with the upside of everyone knowing everyone and more importantly be able to collaborate with others on a variety of projects.

I haven t been here long but I m really enjoying my time here so far and I can t wait to get involved in some of the bigger projects and opportunities the University has to offer.

The range and quality of tutors and courses make this an amazing University with plenty of fantastic events. The one downside is the place is a bit of a maze, and confusing for first time visitors

Art Foundation Diploma student. Overall disappointing course, little encouragement of use of minimal facilities on campus. I think it s sneaky to claim to have all these available facilities but they re in CANTERBURY and I m studying in Epsom. Epsom is a town with very little to do and no culture to inspire artists. Nice I guess if you re in look of a uni town where nothing happens. Not trying to be a hater, just a frustrated student.

Actual waste of time and money. Staff and budget cuts every year for the past 5 years and sad teaching. Most staff don't care about teaching and are in it only for the money. Admissions accept anyone and everyone and don't care about quality at all. Avoid unless you've got a few years to waste
