If you're looking for adventure and like the Wilderness this is a good place to go. The Greenheart Treewalk here is not as scary as some others in the area and is a better option for those of us who don't do well on exhibition rides. When using Google Maps to get there use the search for UBC botanical gardens instead of the green Heart Tree walk because the green Heart Tree walk will take you in the wrong direction once you get there.

Pretty scenaries include ocean observation, north arm of Freser rever /delta, really highly diverse collection of plants on relatively confined territories, location is very good/ precious=comfortable! Very clean. There are amazing mix of wildness and super developed areas, but all of them are comfortable. A lot of construction though. Many well placed benches. Cosy place for relaxation, observation, parties, all types of special events meticulously designed and well maintained. Nice visit, convenient for use on regular basis.
Highly recommended!

Great botanical garden, very pretty plants and lots of trails to explore. We also did the treetop walk which was cool, and great that it doesnt harm the trees. Very relaxing retreat from the city.

This place is beautiful and somebody thought I was there to attend a lesbian wedding, which, I mean, fair. Look at me. But I also looked homeless and was nowhere near fancy enough for that.

Beautiful and very well maintained. Tree walk is very good, it can be scary though. If you re afraid of heights take a deep breath before start, don t worry it s enjoyable! We bought a sandwich in the Cafe, it was delicious.

This was a venue for our corporate event in September this year. The staff are extremely helpful and resourceful and the gardens themselves are delightful. Such a gem in Vancouver and definitely worthy of a visit. Also worthy as an event venue from weddings to garden parties. It is set up really well, the gardens are mature and wonderfully well kept!

Nice place but a bit overpriced. The forest trails are the prettiest part of these gardens. The treetop hike is pretty cool too.

If you want gardens then Van Dusen botanical gardens is better value for your money.

This beautiful garden is absolutely massive, with trails that go on and on. Which makes it great fun for a family to take kids to as there's no inclines along the way, there are also little hidden paths near flower beds that will peak any child's curiosities.

Entrance fee is under $11.00 dollars for one adult and parking is free for the first three hours, which is just enough for a quick walk before going further down the road for the museum of anthropology.

I enjoyed every single step in this garden. I even enjoyed walking throug Greenheart TreeWalk (and I have fear of highs). It's a nice place to visit when you are sick and tired of the city, but you can always go to the Stanley Park as well.

I took my young daughter on the raised tree canopy walkway. A great learning experience.
The botanical garden store has a fantastic plant selection and really helpful and knowledgeable staff. Thanks

We did the tree walk and it was a blast! Definitely recommended for those who are not faint-of-heart. If you get the Groupon, it is so worth it. The gardens are also beautiful. A great place for a wedding.

all i can say it is bigger and much more to offer than the one here at UAlberta Botanical Gardens just outside of Edmonton. My wife and I went there about 45 minutes to close, it wasn't enough time, but next time, we will go there in an earlier time to enjoy the whole garden.

We went there in the autumn last year and it was nice even though raining. Good to check out at different seasons, see different things blooming. Peaceful. Tree bridges going from tree to tree, very nice but not danger at all. Good for families.

As a plant and nature lover this is a place to visit to check diversity. Cool stuff is also to try the top walk. Not sure exact name but a suspension bridge like experience is definitely a thing to try.

The suspended walkways and tree platforms are an interesting experience, albeit for $9 CD more than base admission, and the garden as a whole has some interesting aspects, but very few plants were labeled, so the educational value is quite limited. We enjoyed the elevated tree walk but were disappointed overall with this attraction.
