Great place, very interesting! Only suggestion I have is to add more interactive items. Add a few more of those wax figures in places like the presidential planes and more places you re able to actually sit and experience things. Overall I would certainly go back!

If you have even a passing interest in aviation, military history, or aviation techhnology-this is a must do on your list. Just an amazing collection of American, allies, and enemy aircraft. You could easily spend a day in here. I sadly only had two hours so I focused on WWII, Cold War, Vietnam, and Desert Storm-Enduring Freedom era exhibits.

There's so much to see and read that it would take a few days to get through it all. They have such a huge showcase of planes and historical aeronautical memorabilia. Before today, I hadn't been in many years, but from what I do remember - it's gotten bigger and better. Admission is free, but donations go towards the cause of maintaining everything. I highly recommend going; not only for yourself, but for kids who are interested in learning about aviation history as well as some military history. If nothing else, they have an awesome gift shop to find all sorts of cool military/plane/history things.

Always a learning experience. A great way for a Daytonian to spend an afternoon. The food at the small cafe is not very good. Hot dogs were awful. The prices are to high for the low quality food. I may try the other restaurant.

YOU MUST EXPERIENCE THIS PLACE! It is free as in no admission charge. Among the MANY things to see are the "Air Force One's" of FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, JFK & LBJ (for the uniformed they were all United States Presidents) But wait there's more. You can go in these planes for a self guided tour/walk through.

Excellent facilities. I recommend starting early so you can see it all...I mean there is so much interesting stuff you still probably won't have enough time. Plus they got high quality documentaries in their theater to put everything in context... it's great

Loved This place! If you like history, aircraft, or nostalgia you will have a great time. Do the simulators, they are great! Also, stay at Comfort Suits; we could see the museum from our window.

Love this museum. It can get very packed on the weekends or when there are special events so keep that in mind but overall it's still worth a visit. They usually add new things here and there. The kids love it and learning the history behind each plane is awesome.

Excellent museum, with a lot of exhibits. The extensive collection contains many rare aircraft of historical or technological importance. You can see a B2 bomber, and from the WWII, the Bockscar the Boeing B-29 Superfortress that dropped the Fat Man atomic bomb on Nagasaki. The Airforce One that took JFK to Dallas on 22 November 1963 the day of the President's assassination., the same that Vice President Johnson was sworn in as president aboard it after the assassination. A V1 replica. Very cool and informative. It takes a good 4-5 hours to walk the five hangars.

Great place. Very informative. Lots of walking but wheelchairs are available. The staff and volunteers were very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. One suggestion is maybe you can have a shuttle bus, to drive up to the unloading zone and back to the parking lot especially for the ones who are handicapped or have a hard time walking.

Really great museum. Make sure you wear your walking shoes because this place is huge! We spent the whole day going through it. Tons of history and it was really cool to be able to walk through some of the old airforce one planes on display.

Great place to visit if you are in to history. If you want to teach your kids about military anfld the different time periods this is the place to be. Every major war is represented in the different hangars. The admission is by donation, so it is not an expensive place to visit.

Absolutely fantastic. Probably the best museum I can remember going to. I was on a work trip in Cincinnati and unfortunately had only about 90 minutes however it was completely worth the hour drive to get to and I would definitely go back and spend an entire day here given the opportunity. Highly recommended for anyone with even a mild interesting in aviation or history. Truly an amazing experience.

A national treasure. All types of planes from all areas. This place is enormous. Free admission. They do have some pretty cool IMAX shows. Tons of volunteers to answer questions and a neat gift shop. Definitely worth a stop if you're anywhere near Dayton Ohio!

As an aviation geek this place had always been on my bucket list, but I'm not sure even I was prepared for the sheer scale of museum and its exhibits. If you're into aviation this is a must see.

Largest museum of air force in North America. It s takes a whole day to see the museum thoroughly and understand the aviation history from early years of aircraft birth , world war 1 , world war2, Cold War, presidential aircrafts, missiles and research and development projects like saucer, Apollo 15. You can walk through multiple aircrafts, they have guided tours for each section. Best part is it s free. It s busy on weekend but still quite huge area and high population visits it. Recommended for all ages.
