Disaster!! Loved this place, but after our last vi...

Disaster!! Loved this place, but after our last visit will never come back. We were waiting for appetizers (tatar) for 40 mins (during this time no one was coming up to us) and they came only after my visit to the kitchen. No one apologized for the delay. Later the cook spilled the sauce on my skirt - again no apologies. In the middle of the lunch the drinks were over (water and wine), but no one ever came up to ask if we need more. No one ever offered a dessert or asked if we liked the food (which was btw also not good - my fish filet was full of bones). The waitress behaved herself as if we owned her smth and was really pissed (without hiding it) whenever we were asking anything. NOT RECOMMENDED ANY MORE!!!!!!

I lived in warsaw for 3 years and this has always been amongst my favorites. Few years ago they moved to the arsenal loosing a bit the atmosphere of the old location, but still is a great place for the taste of its great polish cuisine and the great charm and atmosphere. It is a great evening in warsaw.

It's expensive for sure, it was also tasty in total, but a portion of soup for over PLN 20 is so small that the massacre (literally 10 spoons). I recommend this place only to people who have nothing to do with the money because to eat, you need to spend about 150-200 PLN per person.

Sunday afternoon summer and in a pub of emptiness ...
It bodes badly, but when a man meets with friends in a particular place, he keeps his word.
We sit in the patio at a slightly unstable table with slightly disintegrating chairs, we get the cards with the proviso that some of the specialties are over and the waiter will consult in the kitchen, what else is there.
Interesting approach, because we did not know if it was a joke or a sophisticated form of advertising?
There were pates and herring and goat cheeses. There was a sirloin and duck. The tap was not there and the fish was not good, so the waiter was not kidding.
Wine - argentino, the waiter praised waaaarliiiwieee ....
And he was right too!
In total, it was quite specific - it is elegant, it is not at ease, nobody jumps or ostentatiously ignores, correct dishes, because of good ingredients, but like a canteen.
Is it a good idea for a Sunday afternoon with friends?
Well, there are other places in Warsaw :)

Kind of disappointment. I took my American and British colleagues to enjoy Polish fine dining. However, the restaurant had no table for our booking. They look surprised when I pointed our booking in THEIR book. They asked us to wait at the bar for fifteen minutes. Later, the service was rather slow and done by random waiters. It was a problem to ask any waiter for anything as they been avoiding an eye contact. We had to ask three times even for the final check. Finally, one waiter publicly told off another waiter to bring the check. The food was OK but quite heavy, greasy and I would say not impressive. Steak tartar was very good to be fair.

If you are looking for an inconspicuous place for a culinary adventure close to the center, this place seems to be the perfect place. Inconspicuous dishes guarantee interesting taste, while the service works at a very efficient level. I recommend to all food lovers

Nice place, waiters are not always overwhelmed, but they are very nice. Head of the extra room. Tasty dishes, but poorly seasoned. Prices adjusted to the place, main courses for around 70 PLN.

Very good place, positioned to be embeddes in the past of the Polish history, sociali times in particular. But it is a good news as they treat it as a theme and serve some great food. Steak tartar is superb, so is goose and fish soup. They have a very good service and treat customers with the right level of respect. Prices are on the upper Warsaw level. Recommended.

Iconic restaurant. Delicious food. Open kitchen. The way of serving is very effective. The cook cuts the food and places it on our plate while standing at our table. I especially recommend the duck, tartare and escallops. Cool cult service, only elderly people, which gives the atmosphere of this restaurant. The only drawback is the prices that are quite high.

Great food and friendly staff. An environment very much alive. Food is prepared among the guests, pretty fun that things are not so stiff. Unfortunately the local becomes very noicy during the evening, so conversations suffer since it gets hard to hear what your friends say.

Definitely a favorite place! The decor is revelation, consistent. Top level service! Food? Story! It's harder to find better in Warsaw! Short, seasonal card, every dish charms with taste;) we come back there whenever we want to be sure that it will be a great evening;)

Best atmosphere! Definitely Plus for the open kitchen. Tenderloin sauce tasted to everyone, but I'm not sure if a flavor enhancer has been added there, if so on the downside, because it causes allergic reactions in many people (including me). Anyway, it goes away from using chemistry in the kitchen. The art is to bring out the taste by natural means. Bread for an appetizer is maybe it better not to be .... Stale and tasteless, rather buy, which is a pity, because at the beginning spoils the impression and man begins to stress that the rest of the dishes will be just as cool.

I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by this place, I never associated it with good cuisine, but here comes a surprise :) Nice atmosphere, fresh products, nice service and the additional advantage is the fact that the kitchen is open and you can see how the chef is preparing your dish: )

Good place, everything served table-side, so you can see how your dish is constructed. I can recommend steak tartare, chopped from a single piece of meat. Seasoning on point. Price-wise place is not cheap and portions are rather small. Still, worth visiting.

The decor and the location are nice. The staff is very welcoming. The service was also very pleasant. The waiters bring the pots and plate the food in front of you. They have an open cuisine so you can see the chefs working. The food was correct, nothing exciting but well executed. It could be more flavorful and more raffined as well (I'm not a big potato guy). The terrine de canard, the soups and the tartare were very good. We had a very good time though. The restaurant has an orchestra and a good cave...so everything works just fine.

I love places with soul and good food And this is the restaurant where I finally felt wonderful because of the atmosphere, quality and taste I highly recommend it. Such a good tartare, prepared in front of your eyes, quickly but thoroughly (only by few guidelines) by the Chef - World Championship.

This is not a restaurant. This is an amazing experience. Food put on the table from pots, chop the tartare at the table. Professional service also speaking in English. An ideal place for a dinner with a foreign guest or an anniversary with my wife. I will definitely come back despite the high prices.

Tasty real Polish cuisine in a very nice atmosphere. The open kitchen allows you to watch the chefs "in action" and the service is usually good, the old lady who works with great enthusiasm and professionalism is very nice you can come to the chefs just for her presence in the team!

good food, the waitress is not an ordinary student employed in the first roundup. is able to advise and describe in an amazing way how a meal is done. The method of administration is also very interesting. The prices are a bit higher but I think it's worth it.

After ordering another glass of cola, I did not get a new glass, the ashtray was not replaced at all, I had to go for the coffee sugar myself. As for the dishes.
