Very pretty and you will learn a lot, but it is also a lot of work. Don't go to school here if you don't want to doing homework everyday. If you are visiting, its very pretty with neogothic buildings and the beach right there.

You gotta love the poor ratings based upon food in the book store or the waiting time of indigents in the ER.
If you want to improve your brain and learn how to think, there is no better place in the world. I got my undergraduate degree here and went on to run multiple organizations and to sit on 7 different boards including corporations, athletic leagues, and even a Board of Edumacation. U of C made the difference - not my elite graduate schools. If you have an option to go here; take it. Your other offers will NOT do more to improve your life or your ultimate contribution to humanity.
The campus and school maybe great but the emergency room and staff suck! I brought my mom in for flu/pnemonia symptoms and after 4hrs no one has even bothered to listen to get lungs. She's a lung cancer survivor with 1 lung and they never listened to her chest, no xrays, nothing but blood pressure and fever check. Its almost like they leave you long enough maybe you get fed up enough to leave. Its truly ridiculous
Friends and Family Health Center is a very good clinic. Everyone was nice and very professional. My first visit for myself as a New Patient. I am very happy with the Service.
I am really disappointed on how management treat their staff. When it comes to african american women working under racist white people. Four wonderful women were fired for being black . They were employed for 5 - 22 years. Oh they were not fired their job title no longer exist. Manager Michelle Rainers Hem/onc /Ivt. 6th floor
I attended the U of C for undergrad and loved it. My classmates and professors were all very passionate about learning for the sake of learning, not necessarily because it will lead to material wealth. The Common Core curriculum offers a broad education across many disciplines which cultivated my interests in various subject matters. It was common practice to engage in philosophical discussions during dinner ranging from the significance of Aristotle's Ethics today to discussing the unintended consequences of a literary work on a particular historical event. Even though my concentration was in the Biological Sciences, the flexible Curriculum permitted me to take courses in many different areas such as the Social Sciences, Humanities, Music, and History courses. The inquisitiveness that one develops here will always be a part of you years after graduating. I'm extremely grateful for my Chicago education and you will too if you decide to come here!
Huge campus with lots to see. Make sure to walk around and see all the different and famous architecture styles all over. Don't be afraid to check out the inside of a few buildings. Also, there are many museums around with great exhibits, and surprisingly all for free. My personal favorite was the Oriental institute. The artifacts they have are in great condition. And of course, you must check out the Rockefeller Memorial Chapel. A true historical landmark of Chicago.
I want to be in this university but I don't no what are the requirements for this . suggest me please. I m from India and I feel like coming in Chicago.
A great university with a beautiful campus. Most staff are friendly and willing to help. There have many programs on campus that you can be involved in.
I was remembering my most memorable day of my School life. Once I was with my friends to attend a lecturer class as it was 10.00 am in the morning, but unfortunately I was late my friends were kidding to me about the time. At college days I had very memorable moments in my life. High school is an institution which provides all or part of secondary education.
Filthy...nasty, unattended, restrooms, staff unconve sn filthy washrooms trmained filthy throughout yhe day.....I have relativesy and neighborhood residents who affim University of Chicago. Arrogant and Nasty...filthy always no concern.
I wanted to attend the grade school as well as the University on the past. However, I went elsewhere. I know someone that did attend. Hopefully, a family member that is interested will attend.
Great school with some interesting architecture and free museums. I was considering grad school here but ended up not applying. The Rockefeller Chapel is awesome. Some snooty people walking around campus that kinda look down at you if you are not affiliated, and they know who is and who isn't. The presence of security on many corners even during the day is kinda ominous!
Every minute was wonderful. Even when it stressed me out so much I cried. I highly recommend taking 3 classes as often as possible. Said tears only happened during 4-class quarters.
This is a fabulous campus that is half open to the public. Wonderful old sterling architecture that pleases the eye. I have stayed here many times to play chess against the locals and join some of the free open events. They also have a large selection of food to buy, discounted if you're a student here.
The U of C is an incredible school. It's serious, but you know that. But as a student in challenges and prepared me to be a lifelong learner, and to connect theory and practice in different fields.
The University of Chicago, referred to as UChicago, is located in Chicago, the international financial center of the United States. It is a world-renowned private research university and ranks among the top ten universities in the world . Many Chicago schools, such as the Chicago School of Economics, which are dominated by the humanities and social sciences, were born here. About 40% of Nobel laureates in economics are related to the University of Chicago , which is the world economy. One of the most important research and teaching centers such as science, law, and sociology . From the Manhattan Project, a large number of scientists gathered here, under the leadership of "Father of Atomic Energy" Fermi, established the world's first nuclear reactor ("Chicago No. 1", Chicago Pile 1) , successfully opened The era of human atomic energy, and the creation of the first national laboratory in the United States Argonne National Laboratory and later the famous Fermi laboratory, and then established the important position of Zhida in the natural sciences.
Not a huge fan of the sour/live culture yogurt but was pleasantly surprised by the parfaits especially the mixed berry. Also love the peanut butter protein smoothie! Great fresh fruit toppings!
UChicago has a beautiful campus occupied by geniuses and super-nerds, future leaders of intellectual and political revolutions. Take a stroll if you can and appreciate the moments!
I think who in the store is the arrogant owner of the store, and he tells you from Ross of Achkhbouh, and your eye stole me and your eye when I objected. Pay attention before what you pay, and I am not the first one to be with you, and the right is said to add and arrange, but the defect in the washing machine is not in the powder.
I am an Alumni of this school! Best school ever! I love Chicago and this university is amazing. I currently live in Kenilworth and I just bought a new Mercedes coupe! I am so happy! I am a civil right lawyer in downtown! I love my career. Please visit this school!
Wonderful Medical School at the University of Chicago - Great memories during my studies there from 1990 to 1994. Even saw Barack Obama at the law school when I studied there... Bernie Sanders and James Comey are alums too!!! Give it a careful look if you're thinking of applying.
My older brother went here for his undergrad degree and I went here to attend a summer program for high school students back when I was in high school. It's always been a great school and continues to be at the top of its class. The architecture is great as well.
