Lovely atmosphere, traditional country hotel feel, friendly welcoming staff, and according to those on the next table, "great chips"! Plus several roaring fires to warm you after a walk to Wistman's Wood.

A very elegant place to come and dine. Beautifuly quaint location in the heart of Dartmoor with miles of Moors to explore or a quite lawn followed with a river if you wish to just sit and relax. Very posh themed hotel and restaurant with amazing views and beautiful rooms.

My wife and I had Sunday lunch on 19/07/2015 for our wedding anniversary. This is the best place we have been so far in terms of service, food and location. Well done to the owners and staff! A very personal and welcoming atmosphere.

Very nice but expensive food in the restaurant. Just go to Princeton nearby for a cheaper meal but then you will miss the experience. The food is very good though. Just use the credit card and pay later. Lol

Stayed over Chistmas. Not a patch on the last time. Far too busy and so food not great.
Alarms went off 2 nights 3am. No apology. Letter sent with questionnaire after Christmas impersonally to dear Guest. No excuse for not personalizing emails these days. Could have apologised then.
It was a very special treat for us as it's expensive. Parts of it were good. Service, Murder mystery night, pre dinner drinks and canapes.
So many dog walkers all day, a lot moaning about the residents only seats in the public bar. We were very disappointed as the previous time had been outstanding.

We've stayed here three times now and we've always had a lovely time. Food at dinner time is always perfect. The chef has his tastes combinations down to a T. It truly is the best food we've ever eaten. Staff are friendly and courteous, rooms are clean and the hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere. I really would recommend this place as somewhere to relax and unwind, slap bang in the middle of nowhere, away from it all. Thank you to all the staff at Two Bridges for a wonderful stay.

This pub was full when we arrived, they'd run out of alot of things and seemed quite stressed. However, our beer was nice, the geese in the garden were very entertaining and the location is superb.

We had here the best Cream Tea during our 2 weeks trip in UK!!!! Try it! A big portion of clotted fresh cream and two big warm scones, jam and a big pot of tea! In a nice atmosphere! Try to take time and walk to the Wistman's Wood and the Dartmoor behind!

Have visited for lunch about five times over the last few years. Always good food and service. Beautiful location. You pay a little more than normal, but get a whole lot more from the experience.

Here with friends for a Sunday lunch, I had Tomato soup as a starter which was very nice and just the correct amount as not to over fill you.
My main was roast beef with roast potatoes and vegetables, very enjoyable.
I did not have a desert as feeling comfortable with two courses.
My friends all had Roast beef and equally enjoyed their meals .
We were seated by the window, light and airy , excellent for all of us.
Very good and friendly staff , thank you for your courteous service.

Beautiful location, amazing afternoon tea, comfy beds, delicious breakfast, only marked down a star for poor shower. The staff were friendly and attentive despite being really busy with a wedding party. Would recommend and would definitely be happy to have a return visit.

Characterful hotel near Princeton on Dartmoor. Beautiful setting for walks and afternoon tea. We enjoyed the set taster menu for two. Monkfish pakora starter was amazing. Restaurant highly recommended but you will have to pay for it. Not. Cheap here but great for special occasions. Will definitely return.
