I recently organised a weeklong stay at the two bridges hotel for a section of the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club. 29 couples in all.
Without exception, every member complimented me on the hotel choice. The food was exceptional, the service exemplary and the staff brilliant. Taking account of the buildings age and the many years of additions and alterations, all the rooms were comfortable if a little quirky.
Our congratulation to the management, all the staff, not least of whom the Executive chef for making our stay, a brilliant and most enjoyable experience.

We stayed here for sisters wedding..The wedding was fantastic and the staff wonderful. breakfast was very very good and cooked to order. what let it down was the choice on the bar and the extortionate prices. The choice of larger was 2 ... both not popular brands.

Finest cuisine in the South West. Chef was kind enough to dish out a Christmas dinner for two on a takeaway order. If U live close enough to get it home before it gets cold I recommend. Gourmet food at home. Fantastic!

Parked here for a walk to Wistmans wood and a bite to eat after. Tried to pay for our non residents parking only to be met by the least friendly barmaid I have ever come across. She was clearly unhappy with my presence as a non resident on More

I guess it's difficult to run a hotel in the middle of Dartmoor but it feels like neither fish nor fowl. Just wanted a coffee and a bun but those were devastatingly average considering the cost. I have loved Dartmoor for 60 years and passed by many times on foot and by car and this was my first visit. Looks great. My expectations were not met I fear.

Lovely location with cosy indoor areas and lots of outside seating.
Turned up towards the end of Saturday afternoon and was told they weren't doing cream teas but then saw other people having them. Annoying.

Travelling back from Falmouth across Dartmoor we headed for Two Bridges Hotel as we've stopped off there previously. Absolutely amazing cream tea in a very relaxing atmosphere in the main bar. Added bonus its a lovely part of the world. We'll be back.

Rooms were fine but cold. Dinner and breakfast were included in the rate. Service during dinner was very bad, getting anyone's attention during service was painful, staff ignored you and we had a drink order that went unforfilled over the course of a 3 hour dinner. There was a wedding going on in the function room which may have contributed, but still the rest of the paying guests shouldn't be ignored.

Lovely looking place in beautiful surroundings. Can't comment further as my daughter and I wanted to go in for a meal with our dog but was told that dogs were only allowed in one part and they were full....when we could actually see seating available....we were made to feel that we weren't good enough to be there!

Came back with my husband of 43 years today. Yes today...1.30pm..43 years ago..... II am an avid cook. I also am a cheese buff I love wines and adore locally produced food. Well done apart from the Sharpham Brie everything was superb......The steak was incredibly tasty. Could have had a little less sinew but it was sirlion................I asked for rare and it was rare. Well done.............My husband loved his meal.............Sharpham was not ripe but I agree if yur chef is blurting out now. That is difficult and according to temperatures etc.......

The attention by the staff was not overbearing. Just right. And a lovely touch Sweetmeats........I loved the fudge...............I am not a sweetie person...........................that was a special treat for us I loved it..............thank you. You made a testing year well worth. Wanted to stay but you were fully booked. Well done you

Wonderful pub in the middle of Dartmoor! Great food and drink in a beautiful setting. You can go on long and short walks from there. Understandably they limit parking to 3 hours, but you can park across the road. The garden is lovely to sit out in on a nice day. Obviously it gets busy, particularly on a nice day during the summer!

Nice cosy huge pub. Very nice food, good size mains, proper coffee, log fires, comfy sofas or tables. Traditional old fashioned decor but charming and grand. A little pricier than other places but not too much. Definitely worth it on a wet February lunchtime.
