Full disclosure we were there just for a trial class so I can t speak for the ongoing atmosphere or long term effects of attending.

I took my 2.5 year old son and while he had an amazing time I had some concerns. There was no one at the front desk (or the lobby in general) to greet us and we were there a good 5 minutes before being acknowledged; we got there 15 minutes before class started. It smells strongly of feet and sweat. Viewing area was small only important if you re not in a parent-child class though. When we were asked to come into the gym they asked that we take shoes and socks off (or just shoes for parents) but the teacher still had her shoes on. There were ants around the shoe cubbies. Equipment looked clean and most seemed well-maintained but again, it smells like a gym. Miss Britney was really energetic and sweet she explained the circuits really clearly. There didn t seem to be a theme for the class. Theo took some time to become comfortable with Miss Britney and after a while he wanted to run around but she really encouraged him when he was walking on the beam. I was supposed to keep him more or less in the circuit which was hard not only because he wanted to be off running around but even with just a few kids in the class there seemed to be bottlenecks. My son s favorite part was jumping in the foam pit at the end. I should also mention that while there s a general Christian theme to the facility (the area we were in was called Noah s Ark and there were several religious quotes in the bathroom) that there wasn t any overt religious overtones to the class.

Overall the program itself scored a bit better for me than the facility.

Twigs Kids is the best idea ever! My daughter is picked up from the door of her school each day and taken to Twigs. She takes taekwondo once per week, Dance once per week AND she gets three days of gymnastics all for less than $100.00 per week. The bonus... I don't have to cart her around to all these lessons! She loves it, she stays active (as opposed to some after school programs that sit an color) and we know she is in good hands with a well trained, friendly and knowledgeable staff. We couldn't be happier at Twigs!

My daughter has gone to other gyms in the Dayton area but I have found the kindness of the teachers and lessons offered in her Noah's Ark class are top notch. She loves it here and what makes her happy makes me happy. I am so happy she goes here for her gym class! :-)

We love Twigs Kids Gymnastics, Swimming, & Cheer. They have an extra gym one Saturday a month and a parents night out too! There prices are competitive with all the local gyms and the staff is always friendly and so caring to the children. I wished they offered an after school for Centerville Schools. We drive across town but it is well worth it!

My daughter attends swim lessons at TWIGS and she loves it! She has learned so much and has really grown in the past year. She is 5 and able to swim the length of the pool many times and in different stroke styles...she could go all day! She also has less fear and anxiety around water and is more comfortable jumping in. She also respects the safety rules and is really good about rolling over to float to rest and catch her breath. Brittani Ostrander is her favorite teacher, but we are biased since she's her aunt :)

We also occasionally attend Open Gym and Bouncing with Books and the kids really have a great time. I would recommend TWIGS to other parents, and often do!

My Kids have been attending TWIGS for over 4 years now. We Love them. The instructors are amazing people and actually care about the kids they teach. Not only are they learning Gymnastics and swimming they are learning to function in large groups of kids and work as a team. We plan on spending many more years attending.

Twigs is a phenomenal organization. Not only do they integrate wonderful Christian principles in all that they do, but they also make my family and me feel so welcome every single week. My daughter s teacher has helped her become comfortable in her class and in the gym, and even the office staff knew us by name by our second visit to Twigs. Twigs Kids is everything that they say they are and more. So thankful to have found a home here.

I miss her she is the most beautiful and sweet coach EVER! But i had to quite because i couldn't flip over the bar by myself so they didnt level me up. I was stuck with six year olds. But other than that twigs is everything i wanted.- alivia hampton

My two daughters have gone here for several years in the beginner s gymnastics class. Some instructors are more genuine and caring than others. I took my older daughter out of the class since she wanted to do horseback riding. When I called to discontinue her, the manager acted as if she had an attitude and was very unfriendly. When I would take my older daughter along for my younger daughter's class they wouldn't even acknowledge her even when talking to my daughter who was enrolled. They are all about the money and couldn't care less when you aren't a student. Several weeks later, my younger daughter was in class and she came out crying saying she doesn't feel good about herself after some "push-up challenge". Who knows what went on in there, so I promptly took her out that week. I will not pay money somewhere that makes my child feel bad about herself.

Twigs is such a welcoming place. My daughter has been on and off with this gymnastics program for over 3 years now and every time she is greeted with hugs and smiles. She is taught with fun, learning exercises. She comes home from each practice like "mommy do you know how to do this." With some term I've never heard before. ha ha ha. Most of all I love how Twigs keeps faith in our God and remembering we are here to serve Him.

This place is awful. The manager is absolutely terrible at her job and never there. She does not even live locally. Some of the gymnastics coaches are great, but some of them are not trained how to spot. 1 swimming instructor, Brittany, is excellent, but the rest have no idea how to teach children or get their class under control. The pool closes at least twice a month during scheduled class times so you have to try and schedule make ups. The parking is terrible and floods when it rains. The viewing is a joke to watch your children. They cannot handle charging correct cards on the account. The price is decent, but not worth the hassle. I do not recommend this establishment.
