Get ready for a pampered experience - this compact spa has everything you're looking for. Fantastic facilities, friendly service and skilled massage therapists. I've done a 60min hot stone massage, and it was one of the best ones I've had.
My only niggles are that the Male change room are so small that you cant really have more than one person changing (without bumping into each other) and I would have loved to go more frequently if they had special rates for locals.

We stayed at 12 Apostles for a few nights following our wedding, and received such exceptional service. Check in and check out was so pleasant with the staff really taking time to chat to you and make you feel welcome. The hotel treated us every evening with special surprises in our room. Staff at the Azure restaurant were also great, and the breakfast so delicious. Enjoyed the ocean views while dining there one evening. Also tried out the Leopard bar and the service there was also excellent. Really felt like the hotel and staff went out of their way to make our stay special and memorable.
Amazing place with scenic vistas. You are located off Victoria road, about 15 minutes drive from city bowl. 12a (12 apostles) is located by the Atlantic Ocean and right next to the 12 apostles mt range. They have staff that sincerely care about you having a good time. At numerous time my wife and I would hear suggestions about what to do in the city. Our room would be cleaned and changed multiple times a day. We would have room service delivered within 10 to 15 minutes. The food was always exceptional. I could go on about experiences that make 12a amazing, but the list is prbably to big to enumerate.
I am not one to talk in hyperbole, but probably the best room I every stayed in.
I'm writing this review with respect to the spa. 1. Don t be fooled by the picture with the Lapa looking out on the sea. You will not get a massage like that. Your massage will be in a very small dark room. 2. Lady at the spa did not know how to give a proper message even though I asked for hard. It didn t feel like she knew what she was doing. You also pay x 5 more than at a regular spa and it doesn t come close to the level of service of any other spa s I ve visited. 3. I had to make a payment at the spa because they don t accept eft payments. Ps it was for my birthday so my husband had to transfer the cash to my account and then I had to swipe my card at the spa which was very unfortunate since it was a gift. 4. Even though they state on their website that you must come in 40 minutes earlier than your booking if you would like to make use of the pool there is no need to waste your time to go in earlier since they would only suggest the pool until after your booking. 5. A lunch was supposed to be included in my booking and they only suggested it when I gave the lock and keys back to the receptionist on my way out. Don t book the lunch since they will not provide you with it. Ps I was 1 hour early and they didn t provide me with a lunch during that time or any other time after my booking. 6. And to top it all of no one even said happy birthday although my husband informed the ladies of my birthday when making a booking. This was the worst experience at a spa I ve ever had.
One of my favorite "hide always". Fantastic resort hidden in The majestic mountains of Cape Town, overlooking the most beautiful breathtaking sunsets. Best place to indulge in your romantic side! Get ready to be spoiled rotten.
This is the most magnificent hotel. The views are panoramic. The rooms are beautiful. Food delicious with authentic items on the menu. The Spa is heavenly set in the caves. The treatments are amazing. Look out for the special offers for movies, perfect for date night.
Far too often EXCEPTIONAL service goes without public mention. Last Friday the 6th of May 2016, I took my best friend (Who had visited me from Joburg) to the Leopard Bar, together with our 4 kids, ages 2-6.
Our waiter was Charity, who was extremely friendly, always smiled and made jokes with the kids.
What got me taken aback the most was the , what I assume was the manager, a young handsome man with a black suit; was he absolutely spoilt our kids!! :) He let the kids watch cartoons in a separate, gave them popcorn, milkshake, sweets, blankets just so that they could also feel comfortable. He even went out his way to accommodate one of the kids that was lactose intolerant and made him apple juice. He constantly kept on giving us feedback and said "You ladies can take the time to catch up"
My family and I always come to Leopard Bar and the Cafe Grill, and have NEVER received this kind of warmth towards the kids before.
The kids are still in heaven after being treated like kings and queens.

I took my wife for a Babymoon evening. When we arrived the hotel informed us that they have upgraded our room to the sea view room. That was super nice. We had High Tea in the Leopard Lounge the afternoon it was raining so it felt like we were in Europe. When we got back to our room we saw that the hotel left a baby grow branded with 12A on it as a gift for us. This was unexpected and a very nice touch I must say. We decided to have room service the evening that was also excellent. The Breakfast at Azure the next morning was out of this world. You can see that the hotel is an old hotel but we taken care of. Would really recommend them to anyone. The staff was super friendly and professional. If you are wondering about how they handle our current world crisis aka Covid-19 don't worry they have everything covered we never felt us safe or anything everything gets cleaned and sanitised. Thank you it was an expensive one night stay for us but well worth it and always love the drive from the Northern Suburbs to that side of the world.
We were taken there for High Tea. Really special. Highly recommended. The hotel is beautiful in a magnificent setting. The staff, of which there are many, are all so attentive but not in the least subservient. Small disappointment is that the toilet, seemingly one per floor in the public areas, is for males and females.
I see alot of hotels around the world in my line of business. It hasn't been often that I have experienced a place of such suspended beauty of epic proportions. The staff must have a dedicated manager because they all constantly offer a smile and support on your stay. The best however was my razul and gazebo massage at the spa. The manageress personally greeted us and welcomed us in. My partner is a bit of a massage fanatic and she confirmed we might have had the best massage to date. Thank you 12A for shining bright in a dark landscape of bad service. You are an inspiration to the hospitality industry and you will have me visit again soon!
Oh my Word the best experience I ever had at a hotel. The staff is super friendly. And I could've took my doggie there. Was the cutest thing ever. The leather bar was good and the service. Will recommend them for anybody anytime
My husband and I got married at the 12 Apostles on March 16, 2019. We were initially assisted by Alana who was very responsive and knowledgeable but later left the hotel and was replaced by Sally. As you can imagine, we were quite worried when we heard that Alana was leaving but Sally did a phenomenal job as our wedding coordinator when she took over from Alana. We did not feel any change in terms of the level of service provided and both ladies were great. Our wedding day was perfect, as Sally was highly organised and had a full team assisting on the day. This allowed us as the bride and groom and our families to relax and enjoy every minute of the day. The food and service was fantastic, each table was allocated a waiter, the view was amazing and the setting was breath taking. Our guests loved that they were well fed throughout the day! We really liked that the wedding package included the ceremony and reception areas with all the necessary items such as tables, chairs, cutlery and gazebo and also included a 1 night stay in the honeymoon suite. It really was a 5-star wedding experience and we would recommend the 12 Apostles all over again for any proposed wedding venues! Thank you to Sally and team for making our day so special. Amazing service, and I love that I was able to bring my dog to the Leopard bar. They offer special dog and cat menu's, my little fluff was even allowed to roam around and sit on the couch <3
We sat out on the terrace with my son who was just about to leave back to the UK to start a new job. The view across the ocean and the birds flying around made us all feel like we were home in a unique place and highlighted, for me anyway, that I live in the best place in the world and would not want to live anywhere else.
I had a reservations for my birthday today and it was honestly speaking ;the best I've ever seen. Great views ,incredible service and kind waiters who take everything considerably towards making the customers feel welcomed. I would recommend this people to everyone because it is truly perfect.
A truly beautiful place to stay. Every staff member we met was very warm , friendly , attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the views of the ocean and the walking paths behind the hotel . The piano bar was perfect ! The food was delicious and we enjoyed the spa. Try the rasul treatment ! One suggestion for that, would be to have written instructions ,listing the steps to follow. Overall, it was a lovely experience, presided over by the regal resident cat !
I attended the high tea at the 12 Apostles Hotel. I am a huge fan of high teas and found this one to be highly average. The food was okay, it looked better than it tasted. The service was shocking! It took ages for our food to be served with the table next to us being served before us (even though we had arrived and ordered before them). And then we hardly saw our waitress for the rest of the afternoon. The only saving grace was the breath taking views!
