not your dad's Atlantic City.. A lot of fun and excitement ..Dare I say Vegas style ?
The hard rock was beautiful! With pieces from famous artists, such as outfits they worn at concerts to guitars they have used. It was pretty cool. The rooms are beautiful, the bathroom was huge. It only had a stand up shower but I was only there for the day so it was ok. we had a great view of the beach. It's very conveniently located right in front of the amusement pier. Also had a wonderful beach bar. Highly reccomend
Been to quite a few casino's around and this was one of the best, sitting at a machine and drinks are free, all machines that I seen were new. Which makes sense as it was renovated May/2018. Looks awesome inside. Good comps as well.
Great job with the renovations. Place looks awesome. Must see .
Really new vibrant and feels alive. Good buffet, will be back
This seems like a great new Casino. The new owners seem so much better than the last. It Seems like it's actually being run like a business rather than an expensive toy.
Everything falling a part. Workers on strike and those not on strike look despondent. Not attractive...leaves you feeling depressed. Will NOT be returning and telling others to save themselves the disappointment
7/23/2018 visited new opening HARD ROCK, the 2/floor Buffet $20 for lunch to 3 pm. When they closing the Buffet, they are not only take all the food out, they kicked you out the door at 3:00PM, no kidding! Get-in as earlier as possible and watch your time. Hard Rock has the best ventilation system, you don't smell the smoking like the rest of AC Casino.
The name says it all! The Casino is awesome & the atmosphere & energy was lively. There are so many thing to see & explore. I can't wait to come back and stay!
Went to the nightclub on black friday, had a blast!
Amazing experience here. It was the first time in 5+ years since I ve been in AC and I had a blast. I had left my phone on the bed when we left the hotel room and when the housekeepers changed the sheets my phone was missing when I returned. Luckily, I found it in the bag they left outside in the hallway. Food around was super yummy except for the buffet.. Casino was very vibrant, clean, and well lit.
It is very nice, very clean, amazing beds in the chairman tower well worth the upgrade!!!! Very reasonably priced also
THRH is going to be a nice addition to AC. I played the slots, ordered drinks from the machine (register for a Premier Wild Card. When you slide the card into the slot machine, just press the Martini Icon and then choose from several mixed and beer ).
Only thing wrong is the parking. You have to pay when you enter so there are lines of hundreds of cars and you all merge into one lane to enter the parking garage. Other than that its great! Love the many options of food.
Place is packed. Unbelievable !
Kuro was excellent. Now going to see lionel richie.
Love the hard rock
Came Sunday night. The receptionist was so nice and I didn't get her name. Sunday's have got to be awful to work there due to the discount. Room was updated and clean. Casino was fun. The burger and beer was just what we needed. Texted check out was nice.
We went to a show at the Hard Rock and it was great. The veneu was small enough where there were no bad seats. This is the first time we were in the new casino and it didn't disappoint. It was night and day different than the former Taj. There was a great energy and atmosphere to the place.
Was just using bathroom. It was nice, but there was a strike outside the casino.
Hotel need updating... Friendly staff... Overall good stay!
Polite employees, all customers looked and acted happy. Good selection of gambling options, great decor.
Beautiful casino, will be going back to stay the night. Great experience while we explored the newly renovated Ceasars
Best casino on the boardwalk. Beachside lightshow was great!
The most recent addition to the Boardwalk lineup is destined to be a star in our opinion. The iconic brand outdid itself with a spectacular lobby entrance that will blow you away. An enormous sparkling Gibson Les Paul hangs from the ceiling, and is surrounded by a multi-media meg-screen display of music icons, video clips and graphics that is truly a wow . The colors change on the staircase to add to the spectacle.
The entire space beckons to be explored, housing rock and roll artifacts, wardrobe and guitars from greats including Elvis, Prince, Michael Jackson with special attention given to New Jersey artists...Sinatra, Springsteen, Bon Jovi and more.
Here s the differentiator: the music. Live music. Beyond the headliners in the concert venues (Pit Bull last weekend, Elvis Costello the Saturday we were there), we saw THREE fantastic live bands in both the lobby bar and the cafe, playing everything from old-school disco, funk, rock and pop to packed dance floors. A friendly, mixed crowd made everyone feel welcome from millennials to boomers. We had more fun than you can imagine!
Great choices of eateries, from the casual food court, to the classic Hard Rock Cafe to the upscale Robert s Steakhouse and Il Mulino. My twisted mac and cheese with pulled pork, accompanied by a pomegranate mule at the cafe was fantastic.
The place was buzzing with electric energy. Check it out.
Saw Christina Aguilera there. Great show and venue. Casino was well lit and lively.
This hotel is nice and updated, clearly one of the only places in AC people go. Inside it's packed with the casino, shops, restaurants an arena and more. Once you leave AC is just sad looking.
We got a room with 2 quenn beds and when we showed up they offered us a King because they didn't have any other rooms. They said they would provide us a crib and a cot. Our refrigerator didn't work and the ice machine was also broke on our floor so we went to the one upstairs to keep my babies milk cold. Then around 6 we received the cot but no crib and had to call 3 times and by 11 still no crib.
Ok casino but great beach and boardwalk access with steel pier right outside the doors.
I did not like all of the fancy new slots..hard rock in Vegas us much more fun.
Really nice place. Lots of memorabilia to see. The only drawbacks were it was very crowded and loud.
Loads of slots didn't spend any money in there because of the industrial action outside.
Had dinner with my daughter at the Sugar Factory. As a vegan, to say it was extremely limited would be an understatement. Mixed salad. Gimmicky beverage with liquid nitrogen...no alcohol...$25. Veggie burger for my daughter...not remotely vegan. Never again.
It was really nice with lots of things to do. Steel pier and boardwalk were right next to it as well. Staff was helpful and courteous
From this experience forward I will read and consider the reviews written by past patrons. Most of them were less than positive but since we got the deal on a Groupon it wasn't too much of a risk. Nevertheless here is my opinion:
At first glance it appears fancy with all the mirrors. Our first room was a smoking room which was too smelly to stay in. We moved to a room that was alright but still had a half empty can of Diet Coke hidden behind the nightstand. That wasn't worth bitching about and the room was clean otherwise. Yet, it is a bit outdated overall. Liquid, the bar downstairs, was filled with what appeared to be street scurge sleeping in the lounge. Security came to ask them to leave for what seemed like forever just to.wake them up. Security is all old men or frail young men. Nothing.like in Vegas where they would simply not let them in or if they did make it in and fell asleep, would ask once or twice before dragging them out. The television is an old box model that buzzes. And the customer service is less than stellar. It seems as.if they enjoy giving you bad news and are unapologetic. We were given false info by the lady that checked us in saying that we could use our voucher at Evo. This wasn't true and when we went to.the Consierge, all she said was that we were wrong. Anywhere else would try to make up for that mistake but she just answered her phone and that was the end of our conversation. Tomorrow we will try to go to the spa. If that goes bad I'll tell you all about it.
My husband and I stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel in AC this past weekend. The hotel is very nice. However, there were a few things that upset us. One, the woman that checked us in told us to go to the elevators to the left....she failed to mention that there were different towers and we went up and down elevators with luggage, as did many other guests. This was very frustrating. Secondly, she told us that since we were with the Plumbing Convention, parking would be free....wrong. We had to pay for parking even though we spent so much money at the casino. Thirdly, we went to the pool on Saturday afternoon for a nice swim. Tons of kids....and I got hit in the back of the head with a football. I would have liked a better experience.
Amazing place with great music and excellent exposition
Only stopped in to have a few drinks and some food with friends and the staff was very friendly and helpful and the food and drinks were delicious.
Location is great on the boardwalk. Beautiful place but needs more staff
Wow, great place. Jersey shore food offerings, beautiful fish dishes and nice crowd.
I was wondering if the Hotel was going to be boring from the interior. But when we arrived last Saturday, we when inside from the garage entrance and it was warm and toasty! It smell awesome like a brand new hotel. And the modern look too. We walked passing Starbucks, the breakfast Sub Shop, and Panda Express, and even the store. INCREDIBLE INSIDE! I ran down the long escalators and they ran very fast. We got checked in and stay at room #3420 at Level 39. The beautiful view of the Steel Pier, Bally's, and the other boardwalk from down there. It was very beautiful at nighttime. I got WiFi by AT&T only for 24-hrs because I just stayed for 1 night. I had so much fun and the casino make cool sounds and it smelled like cigarettes and drinks! Panda Express was tasty too. We're returning to this hotel no matter what! 5 STARS!
I like new and none of the casinos on the Boardwalk needed an update like the Trump Taj Mahal. Hard Rock did us all a favor by revamping that sorry old building. The new rendition is sparkling, bright, and not leaking from the ceiling. The staff is friendly and seems to enjoy their job, which runs off on the patrons! The crowd is a little younger, a little more excited, and everywhere, this is a crowded place.
Very beautiful hotel. The room was beautiful. Ocean views. The food however was very salty, the resort is too big, the pool is outdated.
The sloppiest housekeeping of my room I've ever had, but the facility was beautiful overall and dining was excellent. Though for having only reopened just over two months ago, my room was far more beat up/run down than I expected. Conference space kept far too cold, to the point that it was unbearable.
The casino and lobby was nice. However for 500 a night the rooms were underwhelming. In addition to this much of the hotel has uncompleted repairs. There hot tub was on its side half burnt, pool was missing so much water it wasn't circulating the water, and the pool boy closed it down early. No food included at that 500 a night price either. Hotel needs a lot of work before they charge that kind of money.
What a dump. Ichan ruined what little was left. If you don't like somebody, tell them to come to this hovel.
Nice place. Right on the boardwalk with many restaurants in it and nearby.
Fantastic rooms, I'd like to say all you need is some bottled water in the rooms and it's 5 stars+++
Stayed at a Casino close by but wanted to check out the Hard Rock for they offered. Entered the parking lot, finally found a spot. Problem, no directions where to find entrance to hotel. We were not the only ones. Other people were walking g back & forth trying to figure out where to enter the Casino but in the end had to go down to the street level, walk toward the beach and find an entrance that way. Wow, very inconvenient..... not just for us but many others trying to navigate their way. We entered the eatery, no one approached us to assist us until we sat at a table. Then someone came running over and told us "no you cannot sit her, this is reserved " . Although there were no markings to advise of any reservations. We asked if we could sit at the bar and eat there, yes... ok... We ordered. Drinks came but we had to ask several times "Where is our food?". We were told it would soon be out, but never came. Others had their food delivered and even left but not us. Finally my son asked the waitress "where is our food? We ordered quite a while a go and are still waiting?" She then gave the order to her manager and shortly after that the food arrived. Well, well. Seems someone may have forgotten to place our order. Too long to wait for food. We did get a discount on the food portion but by then it didn't matter. Never going back. That was so wrong ...... a discount can never make up for poor service. Sorry. And by the way that tablet that was supposed to have been reserved was still empty when we left. Shame shame.
Very beautiful Casino nice and bright and I love the the artist clothing and guitars and memorabilia take care God bless you from Cecilia
Too cold in Casino. Shouldn't put Garlic in mashed potatoes at the main Buffet.
Fun place! Great addition to the Atlantic City boardwalk.
Ever time i hit a hooker would come up to me trying to get money
Kind of confusing, way too much smoke, but lovely decor and White House subs were good
This is Atlantic city at its best. If you've been to the hard Rock in Hollywood Florida, you may want to lower your expectations, it's not such a full resort. What you do get here is amazing atmosphere, gaming, and love shows. I haven't been to the bars or the restaurants yet but will be back for a longer stay. Don't miss the art gallery, it's awesome. Talk to avonlea while you are there. She's the best.
