Butlins Review

Room was great, clean and tidy. Resort is really good too; lots to do. I was working at Spring Harvest on the children's team so didn't have much time to see everything but of what I did I was really impressed. Staff were friendly and helpful. 2 mins away from fantasy island if thats your thing and from the beach.

December is a great time of the year to take the family - lots to keep all the children entertained

The decor is somewhat dated in the apartments and the pavilion, but the staff are incredible the food is decent and the place is just fun. The prices at the spa are somewhat expensive but its kind of to be expected

An amazing weekend. Love this place, Alternative music weekend, saw The Undertones this afternoon, Anti-nowwhere league late night and tonight Bad Manners and Sham 69.

Nice and clean, but the standard chalets need up- dating.
And you should be able to take soft drinks into Reds or Centre Stage, as prices of soft drinks change each time you go to the bar .

Amazing value for what we paid through sun holidays. The fairground was enjoyed by the full family, as well as the amusements and entertainment. Absolutely loved the circus! Would have paid for that alone. Our room was very tidy and clean, could have done with a bit of modernisation as seemed outdated along with the full site but overall loved it.

Can be expensive, but budget each day and pre book your meals. Defo buy a B line pass to get in first for the entertainment. Beach across the path.

Love to visit Butlins. Few can complete with the level of entertainment on offer. Ideal destination for those with kids.

The pool and slides are very good. Fair ground rides are loads of fun too. Night time entertainment is fantastic. Just would be great if you could put out a few more chairs because it gets extremely busy and sometimes you just cant get seated.

Meal times in the budget restaurant can be a hectic. But hey I guess you can't expect miracles. The food is ok and there is a good choice on offer.

Toilets in a few areas are often smelly and dated. Come on you can do better.

To summarise. It's great value for money and almost perfect but not quite.

Can't believe they now charge you for the snooker when it use to be free and the kids soft play area you now have to book

Expensive but brilliant, staff are excellent facilities and food good.

Brilliant resort here for a dance competition. Gold standard chalet (Waves Court) is lovely, well equipped and clean. Lots to do in the resort it seems although haven't had lots of chances to do things with the dancing comp. Swimming pool Splashworld is brilliant. Staff are friendly and helpful and will do anything for you. Lots of children's entertainment. Would come again!

Very clean and friendly staff. Lots for my girls to do (11 and 3 yrs) but lots of queuing.

Easy to find, new fairground apartments are brilliant for families and the staff so far have been excellent..

Spent the weekend at butlins in august. Although the venue has many attractions included in the price there were long queues so several hours of the holiday was spent queuing for events. Further attractions incurred a cost so we did spend a significant amount more on extras. The fairground had a limited number of rides. It was well worth paying the extra to get meals included. Entertainment in Centre Stage was very good.

Had a wonderful time at Butlins Skegness. Everywhere is clean and well maintained and the entertainment is non stop. The staff are exceptionally friendly and there is always someone around to help. We took the premium dining option and the food is superb with lots of different choices every day for both breakfast and dinner.

Good day out wasn't much entertainer on as was football tournament weekend but was still a good day

Security Staff are threatening and foul and abusive towards mentally ill persons and have a huge lack of understanding of Human Rights against descrimination and privacy, peeping in our back door and back bedroom window whilst people were undressed asleep in bed. The Chalets were dirty and looked as if they are only partially cleaned and standards were totally unacceptable given the price paid for the break, although what they must be doing inside them for the amount of time they are in them only they know.
The atmosphere seemed as if the staff had no clue how to run the establishment and I would seriously be careful when having children on the site with staff looking through windows.

Fantastic music weekend with a great selection of bands and types of music for over 18s one big party would recommend this to anyone.

First time weve actually stayed in butlins. Weve really enjoyed it here as everything is here for you without having to leave the grounds. The apartments are also very clean.

Entertainment great but room not the cleanest and not very nice.

Our favourite place to holiday, fantastic facilities with something for every age. The town centre isn't far away with lots of great shops and restaurants too. The town centre have festivals going on at certain times of the year so it's worth checking and there are fairgrounds and a seal sanctuary. Also check for deal vouchers online for things in the town, we saved a lot by printing them off and they run every year.

Great places for young kids lots of entertainment and brilliant outdoor spaces including the beach. Although facilities including room and dining were great buildings and accommodation we're a little outdated which spoilt the feel of the resort for me.

Great holiday for the little ones. Plenty of activities and shows to keep them busy, just remember to have a decent amount of money put away for all the pricey purchaseS.

We went to a Northern soul weekender, to be honest we went all in, but the food wasn't great, & non of the live acts that were advertised we on?? Not impressed would t go again

We booked back on Fab20 , planning to celebrate the kid Bd over their.
For months and monthe they ignored our request for refund. In July we decided we should go as we didn't want to loose our money. We invited a couple with a kid to join us to Butlins Skegness. While we booked them the price jumped to double!!!

After complaning , 5 hours later, we got another room which made me think why we couldn't get it in a first place!!

We booked brk and dinner for the weekend which was all wrapped in plastic!! What a shame.

One thing made this whole experience less painful and it's the stuff who works their.

Had fantastic time. Great British Rock and Blues Festival. Been before. Had Premium package. Yatcht and Decking Restuarants absolutely first class and all self service. Staff really good and very helpful. Very clean and superbly run. Enjoyed our meals so much. Thank you Butlins for a superb long weekend.

Absolutely love it here. Amazing atmosphere. Love the Christmas breaks. Always some sort of entertainment on offer that's worth a look. The best swimming pools. Great spa experience. Entertainment could do with looking at for returning guests not a lot has changed in the past year.

What can I say - nothing I can fault with the accommodation, the venue, the food - which was lovely, or the entertainment. Organised and ran extremely well from check-in to the day we left. We'll definitely be back. We've done these weekends at Pontins in the past but Butlins knocks spots off Pontins. Will always go to Butlins now.

A family friendly place . Loads to do and lots going on . Rooms were clean but outside needs tlc. Cut my hand on a banister outside my apartment.

Brilliant atmosphere every night in centre stage. Not so cheap booze but all round good times!

Loved it! Brilliant entertainment and lots to do at all times. Shops and restaurants are expensive though

Fab pool and flumes, great dining in the standard dining. Stayed in Silver room which was clean and comfortable.

Fab resort red coats can't do enough beach a little disappointing as very shingley

Very keen to take your money, needs updating but the kids gave it ten out of ten.

The standard rooms could do with a bit of N update but are in a good position to get to everything . None of the restaurants are open later so very limited if you want to drink
