Didn't see anything too special. Just another one of your average casinos in which their primary business is to steal your money and hand you back absolutely nothing. Now that is a real American Dream. Sorry I just don't really like being in casinos. This one's so far worse luck. However everyone's different

Stayed in a suite on the top floor and we were blown away by how nice it was! Great price, friendly staff, 24 hour room service, and the room was amazing. Seriously a hot tub, dry sauna, giant walk in shower and more! Easy 5 star rating.

Fist time at the Tropicana. Got exactly what we were looking for. No line-up at check-in, staff (Jan) was super pleasant and we were in our room within 10 minutes from the time we walked through the doors. Room was clean, TV, & air conditioner worked and had a great view of the pool area and neighbouring hotels. The hotel doesn't have the presence (inside or outside) like the better known "super-star" hotels, but we weren't there for the shows or gambling, we had an event to attend and our temporary home suited our needs. Meals at the Beach Cafe restaurant were as good as any other restaurant you would find in Vegas.
The only reason this hotel does not get a 5 star is due to the absence of a fridge in the room.

I like the location. But, the room was very dated and wasn't really well maintained. The carpet was damp for two days, and the bathroom fan switch was broken. I stayed at the newer tower.

Fun

Great service, they always called to make sure we recieved whatever we requested. They kept the rooms clean, had great customer service and the hotel was perfect for our needs. The pool party was amazing. The restaurant with the beach patio was awesome and buffett breakfast was enjoyable. The guy that makes the omelette there is funny and carries a good convo while providing excellent service with a smile. Been here 3 years in a row and loved the experience.

We are here in Las Vegas with family of two kids, went to take show tickets at box office and within show ticket area there was some game machines there. we were standing with kids and deciding about the show tickets and the security guy told me that 5000 dollars is the penalty for just standing kids there. so I asked him where should I stand he said to upstairs.
Can you believe it that I come to Vegas and play for 3 times a year and first time I took my kids to show some good things here and the guy pushing me to go away. this was my first visit to Tropicanna and will never ever visit in my life. I hate it and all my friends i will repeat my story.
it was so emberrased infront of kids they told me three times in 2 seconds that you cannot talk here.
They think they are the only hotel in vegas. i have premium and every hotel welcomes us. sorry to Tropicaana fans.

Excellent service. Immaculate rooms. Super prices. Plenty of amenities. I am not a gambler, so I did not use the casino; but, it was large, clean and full of people. It is also the closest hotel to the airport. I had a rental car and was pleased with free valet parking at the hotel. This was by far one of my most pleasant hotel stays ever!

Went here to rent and later return a car from the Enterprise desk. Staff seemed helpful. However, after returning the car, I had to wait for a Lyft - not enough places to sit by the door (both inside and outside), and standing outside I'm 100 degree heat for 15 minutes gets kinda old.

It is in major need of remodeling. The carpets are old and dated. My bathroom was run down and the tubs faucet dripped constantly. It lacks the glitz of other strip motels. The bed was comfy though.

First time to Vegas and I stayed here for my last night. The room had stains on the carpet and the a/c HVAC made a loud noise all night. I asked for a room change and first they were completely sold out. Then it was you can move to a smaller room in another tower without a view. I asked for money off my room since I tried to handle the problem in the am and now it was late pm. The manager offered a $50 room service meal credit and when I called room service they didn t have anything but a Caesar salad and 1or2 deli sandwich s. Poor customer service from the Hilton brand

Older hotel feel, smaller casino but serves it's purpose for reasonable price rooms and being towards the end of the strip. Stayed here often for conventions as it is next to MGM monorail stop which is first stop on way to convention center, providing empty cars to get on before the crowds at each subsequent stop. Tropicana close to many restaurants around the strip and also has good restaurants in Robert Irvine's which was very good for lunch and dinner with our sales team, without being over priced for Vegas. Also the quick service Chinese restaurant next to Irvine's was quick and fresh tasting. Also I believe it may have been Trago Lounge, just to the right from front entrance was a great evening starting point and finish to the evening with our group. This bar was recently remodeled and was far more welcoming that previous visits . The bartenders here made perfect vodka and soda, everytime and the server (Steph) was not only friendly and personable but also offered great restaurant suggestions each night around town. Fun DJ one evening. Highly recommend grabbing a drink or drinks from Steph, can't go wrong. We did each night for a week.

Convenient parking for free I'm not sure if the places around still charge but I park at Tropicana and walk to my destination the Tropicana itself if never stay there or play there but thanks for the free parking 3.5 stars

I waited over 20 minutes and no one came by to offer a drink while gambling, my husband while on the black jack had to have the dealer request a server to get a beer. We were there for three hours and he managed to get one Coors light. This place is utterly lacking in customer service. The ridiculous part is when we walked in, I thought oh cute, we should stay here when we come back in June but after today's lack of service we will be going back to Mandalay Bay.

As a local, I would not intentionally spend time in the Tropicana. But I had a groupon to see Andrew Dice Clay at the Laugh Factory. That part of the night was 5 starts, but the Tropicana itself was not great. It was hard to figure out where to get my tickets (the Laugh Factory is on the second floor and the ticket pickup on the first floor). I decided to play $20 in slots before Diceman. I ended up playing for 30 minutes and no waitress approached me for a drink. Plus the ceilings seemed low and the casino floor smoky.

Overall not very good! Way understaffed and good luck trying to ask a question of someone on the casino floor, the my walk around with their heads down like they don t want to be bothered. The front desk never has more than 3 people working (usually only 2) and slow is an understatement!!

Pool opens late and closes early and again, good luck trying to get a drink. The one waitress they do have spends most her time hanging out at the bar. They do have a great pool layout but you would never know it as they only open a small portion of one of the pools.

As far as the casino goes, it is very out dated and th vibe is terrible. If you are forced to stay here go gamble somewhere else.

If someone offered me a free trip to Vegas but told me I had to stay at the Tropicana, I would stay home!!

Great hotel. Very clean with courteous and helpful staff. Amazing view and nearby to practically everything. Would recommend it to friends and family. I would definitely stay here again

Perfect sized Casino. Not too large, not confusing to get around like all the other huge casinos. Very clean, comfortable, helful staff. Ivory was so nice and genuine when we checked in. Restaurants are great and super friendly service. Would come back here versus other larger Casinos. Location is close to both tram and Monorail. I would rather be here than the Bellagio as I dislike the overwhelming pricey shopping ceters, however if you take tram from NyNy then it eill take you to Bellagio or Crystal shops.

Worst hotel room have been in for that price, and thats without saying the hidden fees they hit us with when we arrive. No mini fridge, no cafe machine, no option availabe to rent a movie on your tv, tv input didnt work so couldnt plug my devices and use it on the tv. Cheap towels, old and dirty looking bath and the bed matress way to soft cause its old. No heated pool, actually no pool acces, couldnt even relax by the pool and catch some sun cause there was no employe around this area and while its close, there are no interior pool. Very disapointed and will never set foot in another one of their hotel. Cant wait to leave tomorrow!!

Well priced and on the strip; however, some of the units are a bit older and require some updating. I recommend staying in the front building since it dramatically reduces walking to and from the strip.

The Tropicana was remodeled a few years back and if you like bright pink decor, this is the place for you. Super easy access to and from the airport and to and from the MGM properties located at the South End of the strip including Mandalay Bay. Gaming odds are good and you can't beat the free parking.

The rooms are a tiny bit run down. Not bad but if your picky like I am its something you see but can ignore. The grout in the bath area has some very small holes. The area that does not is caulked badly. There is a chunk missing from the carpet. Some scuffs and dings but not too bad. Housekeeping dont clean as well as I would but it is clean.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff was pleasant. Our room was clean except the grout was sub par. I actually loved the view of McCarran airport and watched planes taking off and landing from my window. The pool was very clean too.

The recent overhaul by Hilton shows in ways both good and bad. On the plus side all of the rooms, from suites to regulars, are uniformly clean and new-ish. On the down side the rooms are quite literally uniform, right down to the art on the walls. While the rooms themselves are okay multiple bathrooms on various floors in the Club Tower had...issues (i.e. - cracked plaster, non-functional exhaust fans, messed up grout.) I bumped this property from a three to a four review based off the quality of the food available from the on-site restaurants - Robert Irvine's Public House in particular was shockingly good pub food.

The worst representation of a Hilton I've ever stayed at. We stayed 4 nights and the 1st night the room had no ventillation in the bathroom whatsoever and black mold on the bathroom walls. The Room smelled like aunt Gladys smoked 4 packs A-day before we checked in. Not having a coffee maker in the Room and the Tropicana charging $30 for a pot of coffee was extortion. They did move us to a new Room with a coffee maker and a refrigerator but the Room had lots to be desired. This hotel is way over due for a remodel.
