Troegs is one of the best brewery experiences I have ever had. First and foremost all of the beer is fresh and delicious. Their food was reasonably priced and was tasty (although the poutine was not a big hit with our crew). The entire staff made me feel welcome and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Didn't get a chance to go on the tour but they have a self-guided tour which was a lot of fun. The gift shop was also incredible with friendly staff and a great selection of beer to take home. If you are able to visit, I would not hesitate to go.

Great beers, great food, horrendous service. Went for lunch at 1:00 so well after the mid-day rush. During the 1.5 hours we were there (because it took that long) we had a server stop at our table only once, and that was only because I flagged him down, otherwise he would have blown right past. I've been here before so I know you need to go to the counter to order food, and go back to pick it up when ready. What I found unacceptable was the need stand in line to get my own beers and stand in line to pay my tab, when they (supposedly) have servers for that.

Very disappointing, I've crossed Troegs off my list.

Plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. Distinct counters for ordering food vs ordering drinks. Several employees at the drink counter to serve people. Even with long lines, they move fast. Very clean place, including bathrooms.

Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent beer. Everyone who works there loves their job and it makes for a fun experience. The tour is fun and only costs $5 - you get to try four types and keep a pint glass.

This is our First time visiting, and we will always return when in the area. The choices of ales, pilsners, etc are amazing; they serve various sizes for sampling or just enjoying. The food is well priced ($8-$16) and very tasty; nothing is "standard" fare. They also have a shop for apparel or (more importantly) their brews.
COVID-era social distancing and concern is very evident and well-managed by the staff.

Amazing beer. Our only sadness is we didn't have time to try them all. Love the set up of the place and the feel. Staff is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I have food allergies and didn't expect to eat there, but the chef said it was no big deal. And it wasn't to him. Wonderful food without a single issue. We thanked him and he brushed it off, because he is a wonderful man and a great cook.

The place and the beer are fantastic. A word of warning, the building is easy to see, but the entrance is unmarked and drops downhill. So it is easy for first time visitors to drive by without noticing the entrance.
Once you're inside, you'll enjoy everything!

I love Troegs beer and have for nearly a decade. This was our first tour and our guide Vernon was awesome. Learned a ton about the operation and what they brew here. Place was packed but we could still hear each other talk. I look forward to returning.

Troegs is a beautiful beer brewery in Hershey that offers brewery tours and a dining area ("snack bar") with self-service food and drinks. I had a chance to sample the beers and I wasn't super impressed with any of the brews. However, the brewery itself was quite beautiful and there was plenty to sightsee, especially the 3 giant barrels at the Eastern end of the building. If you don't know how beers are made, there are guided brewery tours daily that covers the basics on how beers are made. Overall, Troegs is a fun place to visit for those that are of the drinking age while in Hershey.

Beer is a bit higher priced than at other breweries, but the food is underpriced for the quality and portions. The beers themselves are top notch, even the old standards relative to what you're used to from the bottle. Well worth the trip!

Fantastic beer, fantastic food, and a wonderful staff that will help you pair the two together. I had a great time, and my only regret is I didn't have the time for a tour of the brewery this time.

Great beer, especially the experimental stuff, but the core beers that are around year after year are always great. Parking can be a huge challenge here depending on when you go, but the beer is worth driving around a little bit.

Good beer and food. Lots of scratch batches and stuff on tap that the brewers are trying out. Tour was a good one, but you have to make a reservation in advance. Only negatives I encountered: Swag in the gift shop is a little pricey. The parking just plain sucks. And a drunken local idiot tried to pick a fight with me when I wanted my seat back after returning from the restroom despite my having a beer on the bar and my jacket on the chair.

Have been here multiple times in the past. This was our first time taking the tour though. And honestly, it was great. I've been on several brewery tours before, but never have I walked though places like they're hops cold storage before (which btw, smells amazing)

Tomato soup was literally just orange water. Grilled cheese was burnt, braised brisket was super oily, and the bun was so soaked it was falling apart. Also got the popcorn and it was burnt to a crisp

Beer is good but restaurant at the brewery is a disappointment. Not many seat and people do not leave so if you want to eat you might have to stand. If you want to take the tour make an advance reservation. Liked Dogfish in Delaware better

Beer was good, sandwich was very good. Two things that were disappointing; fries were not very good, and was not able to substitute side order for anything else. I don't eat mayonnaise, so i really dont like to order food that will be wasted. Overall good experience but quite expensive for the quality and quantity for food & beverages

In my opinion the best brewery in Eastern PA. Brew pub is very big with plenty of space although it does get filled up regularly. Great selection of beers as well as a rotating scratch series which is always worth a try. Food is very unique but always delicious.

Although I didn't have any pizza due to me having a big lunch prior to my visit, I will say they looked very appetizing. Master's of pumpkins was my favorite (I have a soft spot in my heart for pumpkin beer). Even though The Mad Elf is one of their best seasonal sellers I wasn't crazy about it, just a personal opinion. Overall it was a cool place that definitely gets people in the doors, thankfully they have 2 levels. I would go back again for sure.

Waited forever and finally ended up switching to curbside. Lucky we checked our order before leaving because three main items were missing. Definitely not worth the wait. Ribs and tacos were disappointing with slightly weird spice mixes. Very expensive very long wait. Had heard good things about the food but was let down.

Troegs has a great range of beers with something to suit almost every palate. The Scratch series are unusual but worth checking out because some of them are really good. They are experimental beers so you're taking more of a chance but it's worth it. The Splinter series are bottle-only and a lot more expensive but if your budget can accommodate $13 for a 12oz bottle it's worth trying at least one.

The food is very good but the prices seem a little heavy for what you get. Dessert portions seem small given the price, which is a shame because it means the last part of the meal is something of a disappointment and detracts from the overall experience of good food and good beers.

They have a gift shop here that sells Troegs merchandise and beer. It would be nice if you could mix and match bottles from the gift shop but they don't currently offer that. You can get a mixed four-pack of Splinter series and save a few bucks, but that's the extent of mix-n-match.

A nice brewery near Hershey Park. They have good selection of craft beers and food to choose from. Very busy, get here early. The only beer served is what they make here. There are beers for all types of tastes. They offer free tours of brewery.

About Troegs Brewing Co

Troegs Brewing Co: A Brewery for the Adventurous and Curious

Founded in central Pennsylvania in 1996, Troegs Brewing Co has become a household name among beer enthusiasts. The brewery is currently located in Hershey, PA, and is known for its unique approach to brewing that combines tradition with innovation. Troegs has created some of the most sought-after beers in America, including Perpetual IPA, Nugget Nectar, Mad Elf and Troegenator.

At Troegs Brewing Co., they believe that beer should be an adventure. They are constantly experimenting with new ingredients and techniques to create unique flavors that push the boundaries of traditional brewing. Their beers are made using only the finest ingredients sourced from around the world.

One of their most popular beers is Perpetual IPA. This beer is a hop lover's dream come true with its bold citrusy flavor and aroma. It's brewed using a blend of hops from around the world to create a complex flavor profile that will leave you wanting more.

Another fan favorite is Nugget Nectar. This beer is brewed using whole flower Nugget hops which give it a distinct piney flavor and aroma. It's also dry-hopped with Simcoe and Palisade hops which add notes of grapefruit and apricot to this already delicious brew.

If you're looking for something on the sweeter side, then Mad Elf might be just what you need. This Belgian-style ale is brewed with cherries, honey, and chocolate malts which give it a rich fruity flavor that's perfect for sipping on during those cold winter nights.

And let's not forget about Troegenator! This double bock beer has been brewed by Tröegs since 2002 and has become one of their most popular offerings over time due to its rich caramel maltiness balanced by noble German hops.

But it’s not just about great tasting beer at Tröegs; they also have an amazing restaurant on site where visitors can enjoy homemade breads made fresh daily as well as locally sourced ingredients used in dishes like burgers or salads served up alongside your favorite brew!

The brewery restaurant features an on-site butchery where they prepare meats like pork belly or brisket smoked low-and-slow over hickory wood chips until tender perfection achieved before being served up alongside other delicious sides such as mac & cheese or coleslaw – all made from scratch!

In conclusion, if you're looking for a brewery experience unlike any other then look no further than Tröegs Brewing Co! With their adventurous spirit combined with traditional brewing techniques plus locally sourced ingredients used throughout both food & drink menus alike - there really isn't anything quite like this place anywhere else!
