Great atmosphere. Good service. Beer is good. The food is not that good. I had the Lamb it was totally lacking flavor. We also ordered the BLT, the bacon was so hard, you could not chew it. Fries and the pretzel are good.

Favorite brewery tour I've ever done. $5 is a steal for what you get on the tour here: beer from the door, a taster mid-tour, and finish up with another taster and a souvenir pint glass. Tour guide Evan really knew his stuff. Tasting room was busy, but had great sampler options and one of the best pretzels I've had at a beer hall. Will definitely be back!

Not kid friendly at all. I would not recommend this to any single adult with children. There is a kid's menu, but the open seating format is hell when you have little ones in tow. I really like the beers, but I didn't even get a chance to order anything because we spent 20 minutes pacing the floor trying to find a seat. Major disappointment

Was told to sit down and a waiter/waitress would be by to take a drink order and if I wanted something to eat to go to the snack bar and order separate. After waiting about 10-15 minutes and several waiters walking by a looking at us decided to leave. Looks like they have some outstanding beer but wouldn't know since they didn't take the time to serve me. Gave it 2 stars because it does look like a very nice place. First time in the area and disappointed.

Loved the atmosphere and the walkable/self guided tour. Our visit was impulsive so we did not have a tour booked but it still allowed us a peak into their production. Lots of beer options as well as cider and non-alcoholic beverages. The snack bar had a wide array of foods from snacks to meals. They had gluten free options available.

There was a 55-minute wait when more than half of the tables were empty. We asked the hostess, this was due to their system of managing the wait list, not due to social distancing (the empty tables were outside and more than 6 feet apart). Waiting for 55 minutes while staring at empty tables that remained empty was an unpleasant way to start our visit here.

A hoppy, delicious place to enjoy food and brews safely. Excellent precautions in place even for the indoor experience. Creative food coupled with the refreshing suds means it's worth another visit!

This is a big venue for a brewery and it makes great use of it. Plenty of seating and the food and tap system was very efficient. Had a couple of beers with a pretzel which was delicious as well. Then grabbed a six pack from their gift shop on the way out the door.

Great atmosphere and great beer.

Every one of their food items that I've tried has been good. The stuffed squash is phenomenal, and of course you can't pass up on Nugget Nectar. The servers were on pointe, and overall every visit is a great experience.

Always a phenomenal place. Tried and true. Developed profiles of flavors of beers for all palates and ages (above 21 of course, duh!).

The food they savantly put together combines marvelously with the boozy, malty offerings. A changing menu that pairs with seasonal brews and the regular tap menu.

Kids are welcome and will always find their curious minds accomodated by an easy-going staff, a few four-legged fluffies and relaxed, hopped up parents.

Hershey isn't only for chocolate anymore; Troegs is the place to see first. Chocolate World? Only if you need a sweet buffer ;)

Hands down the best brewery around! I traveled 2 hours to get here and it was 100% worth it! The food, the beer, the atmosphere... Amazing!

Note: If you're trying to go on a brewery tour make sure you make a reservation before going.

Love this Brewery! I go here all the time and love to show visitors this place. They have an awesome variety of beers and their food is so good. Their food menu is pretty small but I have tried several different food options and there all so good, especially fan favorites such as the Bavarian Pretzel and thick Grilled Cheese sandwhich. You have to try their awesome tour, definitely eat something beforehand since its a good amount of beer you consume on the tour. It can get real busy and crowded especially during the weekend but the service still is fast, friendly, and attentive. I love the aesthetics of this place as well, its very industrial yet modern. The only thing is that parking can be tricky especially during the weekends but other than that you will love it here.

Pennsylvania's finest craft beer straight from the source. Beer doesn't get any better than this.

Grab a few friends and spend an evening getting to know Troegs beer list. They also have sandwiches and snacks.

The hour and ten minute drive is worth every minute coming here. I can get the beer locally, but not all of the variations. I can't say enough about how great the beer is. They have great, new types and the great regulars. Not only is the beer outstanding but the food is just the same. The Sunday Brunch specials are amazing, too. Highly recommended.

The food selection was amazing and the sandwich I had was very good. Would have been nice if I didn't have to go up and retrieve it myself.

The fun stopped there though, as the beer is good (but not great), there is not enough parking, and restrooms should be bigger.

Also somewhat annoying that once opened, your credit card "account" can be used everywhere in the facility except for the gift shop/takeout beer area. I guess this is for security purposes?

If you're reading this, you're probably thinking of coming here. If you've had their beers, you know all you need to know. Absolutely fantastic beers, representative of many different styles. You'll find stuff on tap here that's not distributed and get some great styles that are spot on. I would uber there if you're able to because you'll want to try A LOT. I wasn't as much of a fan on the food side as I prefer the bar food. Beer is best with wings but alas no wings. Popcorn, pretzels, and fries are all well and good but who the hell goes to a brewery and orders a cheese plate? Anyway, that doesn't take away from it. The beers are great and it's definitely a destination to visit! Oh and the prices are great too. I can't remember exactly how much but my growler fill was RIDICULOUSLY CHEAP!

My review concerns the food not the beer. The brisket was ok but nothing special, but the cole slaw on the brisket had no taste The fries were greasy and had no potato flavor. The cauliflower soup was awful. The potato salad was also More

The beer is great. The staff is great. The amount of kids....not so much. Since when is there allowed to be more underage kids at a place that serves alcohol than there are paying legal customers? Troegs needs to reevaluate their policies in regards to kids . They run around screaming and turn the self guided tour area into a playground

First I would like to say your beer is hands down one of the best in PA. BUT I would like to know what s going on at your restaurant. My wife and I was there on Veterans Day and the service was to say the least HORABLE . My wife asked the waitress to come back so she could order a sampler or the beer on tap she NEVER returned. Other wait staff was asked to send the waitress back and NOTHING HAPPENED!!!! How can you run a business that way? Once we got our bill I went to get a Growler filled with your beer I did not have a cap on the bottle. Your bar tender told me they need to charge me $3.00 for a cap, are you kidding me???? Are you that hard up for money? I don t know if I ll ever come back.

This is my favorite brewery. Yes, parking is very limited and can be difficult/impossible during peak times. Yes, the seating area in the tasting room can be packed and hard to find a seat. But that just means that they are doing something right to keep people swarming here, no? And, as others have said, if you go to the self guided tour area there are usually plenty of empty seats with servers. The food is great. The staff is helpful and friendly. And the beer is excellent. It is also very inexpensive. Growler fills are cheap, and they sell nice German growlers for 1/2 the price that you can find them elsewhere. The new splinter cellar is a nice addition and is also where they start the guided tours now. All in all a great place.

Hands down my favorite brewery in Pennsylvania, their nugget nectar makes it into my top 5 beers list. Love the raw feel of the factory and the guided tour is interesting (especially the beer sampling part :) ) Ended the tour with a big pretzel from their snack bar and definitely left, happy as a clam.

It was a great tour. Not a beer drinker but knew my husband would enjoy it. I am a wine person but was willing to try some of their splinter beer series (fruit beer) so was really disappointed when I wanted to taste test and none of the splinter beers are available to taste. If your a "plain" eater their snack bar probably is not for you. Was planning on eating there but neither of us could find something on the menu. But it is worth the visit to see what it's all about.

You pretty much can't beat this place. So glad we chose to stop here on our way from Texas to Maine. Highly recommend!! Get a beer sampler, some very high quality food and have a blast folks.

Would be a 4 or maybe 5 but how they take your food and beer orders is ridiculously slow. One person to take food orders for 200+ people is just wrong, took 15 minutes to order food. Food and beer was very good but improve the service please.

Didn t get food but who needs food when you re on a liquid diet?! Troegs has a great atmosphere inside and the staff was friendly. It was very clean and plenty of seating for everyone. They do get busy as any good restaurant/brewery should.. if they didn t they wouldn t be open. Check it out and enjoy a cold beverage!!

Troegs is an amazing brewery. Great beers, great food, and an amazing location. Definitely sign up for a beer tour in advance. They are five bucks and comes with a tasting. Also try the hop fries! They are amazing. You can also bring a growler or get a crowler! Don't forget to stop in the store as well. Parking can be an issue so make sure you arrive at an off peak time.

First of all, Troegs has some of the best beers around. The Snack Bar is awesome, with all types of eclectic food choices that are done very well. The new outdoor seating area is great when the weather is good. It's dog friendly outside, too!

Came here for a tour and lunch. My experience was much different than I expected. The tour exceeded my expectations and would have to be a solid A. Really interesting and had to be my favorite brewery tour I've been on. Beer was nothing short of outstanding. The food was a bit below what I expected and took a really long time. The place was packed so part of that is understandable. But we came an hour before our tour and had to throw some food away because there wasn't enough time to finish our lunch. I would have to give the tour an A, the beer an A, and the food a C+. I was expecting a lot more when I looked at the menu. Nothing was bad or not tasty it just wasn't on par with the quality of the brews.

Love this brewery and visit a few times a year. It is good for large crowds and young children. You can do a free, self guided tour or sign up in advance for a guided tour. Great beer (try the scratch list) and amazing food at the snack bar (try the pretzel)!

Great location next to Hershey Outlets! The pizza was awesome and the beer selection was overwhelming! It does get busy but that s what should be expected at great places like this! Highly recommend as the place to go post shopping :)

Really awesome place. Great beer , awesome people and cool atmosphere. 4 stars because of the food line. It was a Saturday and there was a show but the line was so long to get food it was comical.

Great beer and good prices. Went on a Saturday and it was packed 1 hour wait for food. The food truck outdoors was very limited in selection since they sold out of everything. Definitely don't go at prime time, or expect a wait. Would rate 5 stars if it wasn't so long of a wait for food

On a recent trip to Hershey we stopped at Troegs Brewery. This place is great. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the beer, and ate some delicious food. The servers were friendly and knowledgable. There was a mix-up on my card charge but Kyle in management took care of it right away. I would recommend you stopping by the cool place.

It is a brewery and a restaurant attached to it.

It is a brewery and a restaurant attached to it.
In addition to more than 20 kinds of beer, the food is more about pork German than American food, and it is highly recommended for beer-loving Japanese!

First experience at a restaurant since the pandemic. Lovely outdoor space, but wow they have a lanternfly problem. They were everywhere. It looked like a lanternfly massacre outside the front door, and throughout our meal they landed on us frequently. Made for a very tense meal, but this is 2020. Diners beware.
Also, big rowdy families allowed their young children to run around freely. It was unpleasant, and not discouraged.
