Great beer selections! Self serve snack bar with many tasty selections. Staff helpful with flights and keeping things moving. Kid friendly. Outside area available for relaxation time. Well stocked gift shop with cold refreshments.

Great experience. The only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 is because there wasn't a baby changing station or available surface in the ladies room. Luckily, I didn't need to change my baby's diaper, but I saw one mom changing her toddler's diaper on the ground in the parking lot

If your turning left into Troegs the drive is hard to see, especially your first time visiting. After that everything is wonderful.

The brewery is large with a great shop for the merch. Excellent layout with indoor, outdoor, and a 2nd floor, multiple tasting areas.

Beer is superb. HUGE variety of both regular and seasonal brews. Staff has been friendly and helpful during each visit.

The food is delicious and comes in large portions. You order beer and food at separate counters but it can all be placed on one tab so that's nice.

One of my favorite, if not my favorite, Pennsylvania breweries. Everyone likes to talk about their Troegenator and Mad Elf beers, but to me those are the most average beverages they have. Want something truly special? Check out their experimental scratch beers, what they can do with all sorts of different hop combinations, or my personal favorite, the Nitro Chocolate Stout (perfect for a day in Hershey).

As for the brewery? Let me warn you, at least on the weekends and especially in summer, this place can get SWAMPED and you may need to fight for a parking spot. If you're planning a visit, aim for off-peak hours if at all possible (weekdays, winter, before 5 PM on Fridays, Sunday late afternoons) to get the best experience. Food that pairs great with beer, beer that pairs great with good times - this is a local treasure.

Come for the beer, stay for the food. I am in this area about 5-6 times a year and Troegs is on my must stop list every time.

I try to stop here when I visit my sister. Love this place. Super awesome and always consistent beers. I'm always happy with their food selection too.

Good food, good beer. The kids love it too. Outside eating area is nice too. I wasn't expecting the food to be as good as it was. Definitely a place I would take kids.

Good beer but a pain to get a seat. If you feel like fighting for a seat, this is your place.

Pretty cool place. Chicken sandwich with slaw was tasty. Local java head stout was very good.

Stale bread for my kids pbj, ok I know I am being "that guy" but hey, whatever. Everything else was great to be fair... So, manager came by and took it (the pbj) off our bill and bought us a round of drinks. #redemption

Have visited many times and never disappointed, great food & great beer, what more could you ask for.

Largest brewery in town. Very popular destination. They don't take reservations and aren't giving tours right now because of the pandemic. They have a waiting list going online, but I messed up, somehow and didn't get our party in the system as I expected. When we showed up at the door to check-in, we were told there would be at least a 90 minute wait possibly longer. We left and found another place to eat.

Good atmosphere. Brought our young kids and they had a great time. Great selection of local craft beer.

Really love this place. They do a simple bit tasty menu very well, and of course the beers cater for all tastes.

Nice establishment and selection of beers. I will be visiting this place again.

I picked up the Oktoberfest Pretzel Make-at-home kit and a 12pk of Field Study last week! The Curbside pick up was seamless and about as safe as you could get. The Pretzel was as good as in house and the beer was the best beer of the year... nay decade! Try out the curbside pickup, it'll be the closest thing to normal & safe as anyone could hope for.

Very informative tour that takes you through the process of craft brewing. There's also great food to enjoy. Looking forward to doing additional tours for the other brew processes.

Excellent 1st experience. Always a huge fan of Troegs. Their flights are very affordable. One of my favs that were made in limited batch was the sweet stout. Will definitely go back. Also close to Hersheypark and a animal wildlife and Tanger outlets. LOTS to do.

Don t get the pizza. Ordered two, one cheese and one special. The cheese was unacceptably burnt, and the special was a disaster: dry, scarcely topped, and unpleasant flavor.

Stars for the beer and service.

It pains me to rate one of my favorite breweries with 3 stars but I'll tell you why: the kids and the crowds. Troegs has some of the best beer in the area. The food is great, too. The problem recently with Troegs is how parents abuse the "all ages" policy. I'm talking we rarely, as locals to the Hershey area, go to Troegs anymore because of the kids climbing all over everything, the soccer teams taking up 15+ seats, parents just allowing their kids to run around the brewery, etc. I'm all for families enjoying themselves but Troegs just seems to become a playground for some reason. I know I'm not the only one that feels this way either.

The brewery can no longer accommodate the crowds it draws in. Which, hey, good for them, they are doing great business. But if you get a parking spot, you're lucky and that's only half the battle. You have to hover around the brewery for a seat most days. Its stressful and a headache. Especially if you have over 4 people. Get there early or go at a "slow time," if there even is a slow time anymore. I hope one day there is a remedy to this because we love Troegs; just not the crowds. Normally anymore, we run into the gift shop, grab beer, and go elsewhere for food.

Good beer, nice atmosphere. I would prefer table service for the food instead of going to the counter.

Had an amazing time on the brewery tour. Very informative and fun. If you are in the Harrisburg or Hershey area for any amount of time and you're a craft beer fan, visiting here is a must!

This place has a huge, inviting atmosphere. Plenty of food and beer to chose from. Only downside is that the food is expensive. Delicious, but over priced. Small serving sizes were just a minute distraction from the awe I experienced during their brewery tour by a highly educated and experienced tour guide. My 6 million questions were answered and we received a gift and tastings. Very enjoyable visit.

My most favorite place of all time . I have reviewed on yelp and trip advisor . And post to instagram all the time . The beer selection is fantastic ( a great place for IPA) the food is incredible and even now that these is a loft with sourdough pizza . The staff is great, the location is awesome ( just past Hershey Park and outlet mall) plenty of room and parking but the place is so popular it is often packed. I always try a flight of the newest scratches.

Love this place it's an example of what breweries should do if they want to be open to the public and serve drinks and food. The atmosphere is great and very open with plenty of seating options. Although if you want to sit outside you should get there earlier as those seats fill up quickly. Beer is purchased at the bar and food at the separate food counter. Theres rotating beers on tap that aren't out for sale yet so you can try things that may or may not make it to market. The good is also very good with plenty of small bits and full meal options. The open nature of the facility can make it a little loud but you can still carry on a conversation no problem.

I was a bit apprehensive about the fact there was no parking available or bar space to sit/stand. After parking in a snow covered spot and muscling our way to the bar, the beer was fantastic. The food was just as good as the beer. If you can manage to beat down the crowd, or take an uber, you should go. Well worth the fighting through the crowds.

Loved this brewery. Some of the best tasting brews I have set my lips upon. Recommend the German pretzel for food, loved the Hefeweisen as well as the Perpetual IPA. Will be returning every night for my short stay in Hershey.

I really enjoy this place. Been there several times over the years. Great taproom and gift shop.

Pretty crowded when we stopped by on a Saturday Afternoon, though we were able to get beers pretty quickly. Great selection. Good food, though we had to wait nearly 30 minutes for 2 pretzels and fries. Took Uber there so I didn't pay much attention to parking. Small shop inside to get their merchandise and beers to go.

Mad Elf is amazing beer. But at the brewery every beer tastes so good. Great food too.

What an awesome place! Very busy! Possibly the place to go for a beer in all of Hersey! The selection they have is great. The rotating seasonal beers are their experimental creations worth a shot if your feeling up to it. Take the tour it s quite informative. The food is good to great and the service is wonderful. The all together tab system they use makes buying food and beer very easy. Cheers!

Great brewery to tour. The tour guide was very friendly and informative. The brewery was very clean and really fun to go through. The store had plenty of gift items and beer.

Great vibe! Open seating with walk up bar for ordering beers, as well as walk around bartenders that can add to your tab for you. The concession-style "snack bar" serves full meals (with great portion sizes) and was all well made. I ordered fries and a grilled cheese sandwich and could only finish half! Good came out quickly and was fresh and hot. General store has a good selection of take-home items.

My sister and I just got dinner here. I got the meatloaf with potato salad, and she got the pulled chicken sandwich with fries. We also got a cheese plate that came with honey and some sort of orange marmalade.

Everything was delicious with the exception of the potato salad. WAY too much dijon mustard to the point where I couldn't finish it.

Other than that, it was a good experience and we'll probably be back

Genuinely don t know how their rating could be less than five stars. If you re in the area, GO. Amazing beers, food is incredible and the service is top notch. Tour was great and well worth the $10. (Included basically a pint and a half plus a glass). Everyone who worked there was genuine and helpful. Payment system is great, allows you to have a tab and go to any of the bars without continuously worrying about where your card is. These guys have really got it figured out.

Troegs is an awesome brewery and pub right next to Hershey Park. The parking lot is big, but can be filled up on weekends, so be prepared to park at the outlets and walk a bit. The restaurant is pretty vast and there are some outdoor tables that are dog friendly as well. Seating is open seating, so just head in and grab any open spot. There is service at the tables for drinks, but it's best to order at the bar. Food can only be ordered at the food stand. The beer is of course great and they have a good selection that isn't only IPAs. Any of the "scratch" series are small batch ones only available here and are all excellent. In fact pretty much all of the beer here was great. You an order big glasses or have a tasting flight. The food is also pretty good quality for a pub. The poutine was excellent though quite heavy but went well with the beer. There is also a self guided tour through the brewery and the gift shop is huge with beer and merchandise.

What a fantastic brewery! If you are at all interested in the brewing process you will surely enjoy the $5 Guided Tasting Tour. Not feeling a tour? Grab a beer at the bar and go the self-guided route. The brewery has great information signs everywhere so you know what you're looking at.
The food at the Snack Bar is great, I recommend the Poutine!

This place has amazing food and beer. They craft so many different styles of beer that it will cater to any beer drinker. If you are in the central pa area and enjoy a good beer, this is a must go to! Cheers!

Great beer, friendly and knowledgeable staff, all in a nice bldg with great atmosphere.

Been back many times and the beer and food never disappoints. The only thing that could be better is the seating situation. Trying to stalk people for seats and tables or standing by tables until people get up ends up leading to confrontation and awkward conversation.

Brunch was excellent this morning! Goat cheese, chard quiche was really good. We paired with the 360 scratch IPA which was just right. Also tasted other IPAs and really liked scratch 357. Our server, Jamison, was very good and helpful. Love this place!

The IPAs and Ciders complimented by the charcuterie plate and mussels are On-Point! Brave the crowds....Troegs is the place!

The food, believe it or not, is what I love most about Troegs! Most menu items are more for adult tastes as lots of flavor combinations are implemented. My favorite thing to eat here is a savory beef brisket and coleslaw sandwich with French fries and a side of spicy ketchup

Even though they are a large brewery distributing along the east coast, when you're here it still feels like a small, family owned brewery that cares about the guests. The tour is excellent and highly recommended. The food and beers are also incredible!

Love the beer and food selection, staff is attentive. Always fun to walk through the self guided tour and store as well. Also I did the guided tour once with friends, really fun/interesting and I was sorry I hadn't done it sooner!

Excellent beer, great bartenders. We sat down and they gave us a menu tour. I ended up getting a beer and my sister got a flight. I loved the payment system where your tab transfers to every bar - why doesn t every establishment have this??!

So really, I had only one problem with my experience while me and some friends went for lunch and that was the server. He seemed very short with us and seemed to ignore us when we tried to flag him down. It wasn't super busy on the inside, there were maybe like 6 or 7 tables occupied including ours, with at least 3 servers going around the whole time we were there.

We all got beer flights, which we loved most of the beer. There were just a couple that weren't as good, but good basic flavors. We even made it easy on the server, 3 of us got the smoked brisket sandwich, 2 chili cheese fries, and 1 ground pork Thai lettuce wrap. The brisket was juicy and great flavor. The coleslaw on it could've used just a bit more dressing, but overall the sandwich was amazing. The the troegenator bbq sauce on the side really made the brisket stand out with a slightly boozy sauce with tangy aftertaste. The fries were delicious with a house made chili that went well with the cheese. The lettuce wrap was split into 3 which made it easier to eat. Good amount of spice in the pork and overall good flavor.

Great experience and a good time with friends. Just the server was a little off putting, but overcame that for some great beer and food.

Great beer....have IPA's, Stout, Gose, Hard Cider.....you can get a growler of whatever they have on tap. Awesome food.....not your typical bar food; think of it as bar food with a twist...try the Bavarian Pretzel, popcorn with rosemary and brown butter, or the grilled cheese (this is not a small sandwich, or another delectable option. Save room for desert....the Java Head (Java Head is one of many beer choices) brownie is devine!

Tourist attraction for cafeteria style food and beer. Sadly disappointed in the fact that they were out of the Chocolate Nitro Stout, which they consider an always on tap beer. We drove out there to try it, but they were out of it on Sunday @ 3:00pm. Ugh, another poorly run Northeast brew house with the inability to update there website to keep things current. The food was overpriced at $16 for a sandwich and soggy fries. The beer was forgettable.

Went on a guided tour of the brewery (not an extensive walk), but found it to be very informative and enjoyable. The guides who met us when we first arrived were very knowledgable, as well as warm & welcoming. They are obviously very proud of being a part of Troeg's, and it shows. We were allowed to taste several beers, and then enjoy a single beer of our choosing. During the tour, they had samples of malted barley & hops for people to handle, smell & taste. We also sampled a freshly fermented beer that was going to move to aging, as well as a triple belgian at the end of the tour. The guide encouraged questions, and I think everyone in the tour found it interesting & enjoyable. Nothing but positive comments. We also stopped in the beer hall/gastro pub that they have set up in the brewery. Had a few more beers, as well as flatbread pizza dish. The beer was very good, but the flatbread pizza was nothing special at all. Bottom was actually a bit burnt, and it lacked flavor. But overall, we enjoyed our visit to Troeg's, and will likely be back again, particularly if we have visitors from out of the area.

Like a high school cafeteria,with high quality beer... When it gets busy, you wait in line for beer, for food, and when you get to order, don't ask for substitutions--they won't even swap out the bread. "Vegan friendly" NOT. Although there are several items that could be vegan, the cauliflower is fried in meat oil, and the bean burger has to be put on lettuce (again, won't substitute egg bread for anything else). The brewery and the beer is excellent. Eating and drinking here is hit and miss and, from the perspective of a fair and generous reviewer, is NOT RECOMMENDED.

Great brewery experience. They had an extensive offering of beers with many styles to choose from. The place is huge with lots of seating, but if my visit was indicative of a usual Saturday crowd expect to share a table to enjoy your beer. Two things I found strange, no Tv's with sports and the walk up ordering of food, but with the majority of tables being communal I can see how table service could get confusing. The beers I had were both excellent, I wish I could have tried more but we were short on time.

One of the best micro brewery restaurants I have been to. Rich foods were the perfect pairing for their excellent beers. We'll return there again during the next trip to Hershey!
