Tripps Restaurants Review

The staff is always amazing! I don't know when they changed their bread but that was a bad decision. Otherwise, everything was great!

Staff was responsive, good variety of foods, wine pour was small for price, good salad choices, shrimp salad appetizer was generous, but shrimp were watery, limp. Restaurant is generous feeder of homeless - a rare +.

Fantastic food. Great service. Loved the restaurant. Prices are reasonable, especially around lunch time

First to e eating here and i was amazed. Yheir fiod is capital De licious. Awsome customer service, the waiter was very helpful picking out menu items and knowledgeable about foods, i love that.

I absolutely love this restaurant. Kelee the Waitress is awesome.

Really miss the Tripp's that used to be in Asheville. Visited Greensboro and so happy to eat at Tripp's!!! Yum!

I placed a to-go order and got to my hotel to find the order was wrong. I was told to come back in 15 minutes and my new order would be ready and my meal comped. When I arrived 15 minutes later, my meal had not even been ordered and I had to wait a second time for it to be prepared. The manager looked at my receipt, went to the kitchen, and I didn't see her again. My meal was not comped. Terrible service and mediocre food. I won't be back.

Not bad but the waiting time is over 30 min just to have a table + another 30 min to get food.

Been going here for years. Everytime I'm in Greensboro I stop by.

The Chicken Bruachetta,was a very tasty, and the service was just as good.

Food was excellent and the service was great. We had the Wallstreet Grilled Chicken Sandwich and it was incredible! Going back soon!

I was very disappointed in the service at the bar and the the food! Check this out. When you sit at a table they always offer you a loaf of bread and dipping oil. I ordered a grilled chicken salad which was ready in 2 min. I really felt as if I got someone else's plate. It was that fast! Then I asked if I could get some bread? The bartender said "W do not usually serve bread to customers!" WTH??
I said, "I would like some anyway." She brought it, then another person ordered bread. She gave him the excuse of why they don't offer to bar customers because of the way the bar is designed it takes up to much room. When I ordered my salad and I swear it came out faster then any drive through out here. I will not go back and feel that Tripps has been going down hill for years! They finally have hit the bottom!!

Food was not hot & not very tasteful. The glasses & bread plates were dirty.

Fast and Friendly service! We have been here twice now and both times we had great service and good food! Most of the time the wait time is nowhere near as bad as other restaurants off Wendover...especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

Great brunch clean restrooms nice people. ILL BE BACK.

I expect a high standard from Tripp s. The never disappoint.

This is my "go to" place for special events and holidays. The food matches the customer service... AMAZING!!!

Our waitress Sarah C was great, food and drinks were very good. Will be back..

The waitress told us we would be offered their drink special for lunch. We ordered the drinks and in the middle of the lunch she says that she got confused and the special wasn t today. We were thinking okay but you re still going to honor it. Nope! She brought out the check with the full price. When asked if she would honor it she says no because it wasn t the special. If you tell your customer about a special and then they order that drink because of the special you offered to them, you should always honor it.

Coffee not hot, fila mignon probably was not and was well done instead of medium as I asked and tough. Not a good experience

Not busy, service slow, food incorrect. Was there for 2 and half hours. Not to mention it was cold. Not just us, everyone was complaining

I really enjoyed my meal. There wasn't a large crowd, so we got great service. Beers were cold and food was hot. I'll go back. Yum.

Lava cake for dessert was excellent. They serve bread with the entree, so apps not needed. Great wait staff.

Let me first start by saying I have not been to a Tripp's in 100 years . I just happened to be in the area. I was hungry and thought I would give it a try. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. Walked in and my companion and I were quickly seated. Hailey was so very accommodating, attentive, and kind. If I should ever return, I will certainly request her.

Tripps has lost some of their quality. The server was fairly attentive but not very personable. The food was good, flavorful and hot. I feel like it used to be better than it is now.

First time here and the food was delicious and our server Kaitlyn was awesome. My family and I will definitely come back.

The service was slow. Had to go to the bar and ask where my wine is. I was told that the bartender was on break. The food was fair at best. Definitely will not go back.

We love this place and the pasta. Can't wait to come back.

Went here with my bff's. I ordered the parmesan crusted chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I also ordered spinach dip. Now the dip I shared with my bestfriends and they said the dip was off the chain. That dip was so freaking good I could have slapped my momma (not really bc I would be in a grave, or in a body cast lol). My momma has hands on her. But you get the point, the dip was the b bomb diggity dog. Get you some dip okay.

Date night spot. Large menu, lots of choices. Food is mostly good, though after awhile everything tastes the same from the dryer. Decent, no complaints, just not over the top good. We would go back. Service was fast and all good was hot.

Have ate here many times use to be one of my favorite restaurants around went tonight for my Dads Birthday Dinner worse service I have ever received. Cheese Burger was raw when asked for well done, took it back and didn t want to make it right, so he ended up not eating on his birthday somewhere he ENJOYED going definitely our last trip there. Our waitress Melany J was terrible, no refills and never at the table. Highly disappointed.
