Trips was so good i loved the service the food and the prices! Will go again after this dam virus is over Excellent place

Their ribeye steak is one of the best I've had and they had banana fosters on special for dessert that was outstanding!

Good food and wonderful service just need a few more items to pick from on the menu.

The cooks deserve the 5 stars and I was happy with my server.

Love this place. Miss the one that was converted to sports bar in S Pines. Great steak house type atmosphere, excellent menu, never had an item that wasn't excellent, reasonable prices.

We always love going to Tripps. But after tonight we may never go again. We don't like sitting around the bar so when we were being seated over there we asked for another table. Apparently they didn't like it because the whole room was empty but they sat us next to a VERY LOUD birthday party . They were so loud and apparently very drunk we couldn't even hear each other talking. We finally just got to go boxes and left. Very disappointed! We live near Asheville so we drive a long way to eat there.

The service was great..food done right ..we were told and showed that our business was appreciated. Good vibes too!

Excellent prime rib and the baked potato was delicious

Great ambiance and fantastic food. Lovely and ever smiling staff.

Spinich artichoke eggrolls were delicious, chicken strips had a great batter on them and the eggs Benedict with crab cakes had great flavor. Mercedes was an excellent table server. Overall the experience was great.

We had an issue that they dealt with very professionally. Great service and great food.

Good choice for a semi-upscale dining. Good serve and good menu choices. Bunch on Sunday is also nice.

Have not eaten here in many years so decided to give it a try. Not disappointed at all. Restaurant was clean, staff was friendly and the food was fabulous. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. Will definitely put on my list of favorites.

Our favorite restaurant! Always a step above in quality and service. Great selection of high end cuisine at very fair prices.

Soup was great. Waitress was awful. We ran out of drinks, asked another for the drink completely empty. The waitress went by twice and never checked if the food was right, it wasn't. I had to go to the kitchen and take my own food back. My neice had the soup and salad meal. Everyone around us got their salad. I had to ask three times for her salad. The kicker it took so long to get back my food, everyone was done. I didn't get so much as a desert for my trouble.

Don't order the seafood, too greasy, you can see the grease on your plate

Great service by Eric. Wife's parmesan chicken and macaroni and cheese was great. Louisiana shrimp pasta was a miss.

Service was spot in and shrimp was great. Problem we are finding on second and last trip to Tripps? Steak! Both of our steaks we're rare! Ordered them medium.
Why can't a place that prides themselves in steak cook one? My wife had to send hers back for a refire.
I unfortunately did not know mine was raw until we got home. I had eaten alot if salad, bread and shrimp. Never got to main course.
Such a shame. Put a picture and review up on Facebook and they did not post it..hmm

Love Tripps. I hate the one in Winston closed. Had to drive to GSO to eat at the only one left. I HATE GSO. So getting me there was an act of Congress but did it for my bride. "No regerts" (sic)

Entres are disappointing! Just go for the appetizers or keep on looking!

We celebrate birthdays here every year, the only place any of us want to go.

I had the basic menu of the day (prime ribeye steak+salad+baked potatoes) and it was simply perfect

Great food, ribs were falling of the bone! Staff very cordial.It was our waitress' first day. She was very friendly and expeditious. Had the food orders correct and no mistakes.

There was gnat in my water and I was seated right in front of the kitchen, where I saw the cooks preparing food with ungloved hands while touching their faces, countertops, cleaning the grill all while touching food. Told the manager but that didnt really matter as she was on her cell phone and placed some veggies on a plate after being on her phone. So disgusted right now!

Not good. Got the chicken cordon bleu... first plate was cold in the middle, they brought another one out in less than one minute that was hot as fire on one side and luke-warm on the other. Needed seasoned, and probably not microwaved.

Great steak, great service, Morgan was on top of it all through.

I was expecting a typical Irish pub styled restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised by the service and dishes they served. The kids, my wife and I enjoyed our food and the great service.

Not the Tripps of 10 years ago. Food was ok. Service was good.

I had the prime rib and the wife had ribs and shrimp. All was very good. The steamed potatoes were also so good. Seating was quick on a Saturday night, and so was the service. We really enjoyed it and plan on future visits.

We visited Tripp s on Dec 12, 2020 and the service was mediocre at best. Was told there was no available seating at the bar, and there were only two other people sitting. We ordered a few cocktails and by the time it got to our table, the ice was halfway melted. This location use to be on point but in the recent months it had gone downhill completely. I know there are restrictions for covid, but you want to make your guests happy so you have constant return customers.

Maybe we will give it another shot one day.

Hadn't been before but stopped in late on a Sunday had the Ahi Tuna salad and was pretty good

Gluten free options available, although very limited. The lunch special I got was a salad and baked potato. Luckily the fully loaded options came on the side except the sour cream and butter. It was good if you like salty butter so ask for that on the side. The salad was much better than expected! The garden had almonds, bacon, delicious greens and I ordered the honey mustard which was creamy. For my first Tripp s experience, it wasn t bad. Much better than other chain restaurants.

Food was very good and the service was too notch. We were a large party and the staff was on top of all our needs

Very good food and nice choices. Mussels can be ordered as a dinner or appetizer. Whole fish was very good. Lava cake was excellent, we shared it. It's not too big for one though and just a nice small serving for 2 if you share.

Me and my brother went to Tripp s yesterday the food was the best I had the petite sirloin with fries and rice also the house salad was so good I m definitely going back again.

This has been our favorite restaurant for years and it hasn't missed a beat. The food is always delicious and we never have a problem with our meals. The service is also top notch. There's a reason why I've never left a small tip at this place.

Best burger I've ever had. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was PHENOMENAL. My sister is a vegetarian and she also found something delicious. The price is fair and the atmosphere is fantastic. I would definitely go again.

I got ribs, fries,shrimp,slaw the ribs were dry, small for the price of the plate. The fries were good and the shrimp. My bf got the ribeye steak which was on point, he also got the baked potato which was delicious and mac and cheese was cheesy and perfect. He got a salad that was also great! Good customer service until I complained about dryness of ribs.

We used to absolutely love the Santa Fe Chicken Pasta. It wasn't all that great this time. The service was excellent.

Good solid restaurant consistently serving decent food and maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness. The kind of place you ll return to again and again for a decent meal at a reasonable price. Not loud, not trendy, just comfortable and affordable.

The prime rib was out of this world. The service was too notch. Next time I'm in the area, as I travel for work, it WILL be returning.

Chad was our waiter great job food was delicious cooked just right very attentive .our tea was always filled up. Definitely will be going bad soon.

Always have a great meal here and cold beer. Usually get the prime rib blackened and it's delicious. Also try the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer it's great!

The Tripps in Greensboro is a really nice restaurant.
The food and service were both great!

We went to trips on wendover Ave for a friends birthday on 2/9/19 and ordered prime rib. When I did get it was so disappointed. There was more fat than meat. I ended up paying $22.00 for 6 bites of meat. I told the waiter, that said "that happens" and when we asked him to let the manager know. Nothing was done. Very disappointed for a first time eating there, and my last. I would give a half star if I could.

Awful! My husband salmon was
burnt (black and hard to cut). He sent it back. My crab cakes tasted like salt, Old Bay and bread. What a waste of money. The only thing good about our visit was the waitress.

The restaurant was empty and we got sat almost behind the bar right by the kitchen. There were 3 waitresses walking around doing nothing and the bar tender was our waitress. She was great and we left her a great tip but I probably won't go back.

I really enjoyed my meal at Tripps. The food was good. And our server, Olive, was great! Very nice and personable. I look forward to eating at Tripps again soon.

Great service wonderful prime rib, in fact all the food was great. The staff was very helpful and friendly will be going back.

Brunch was excellent. Eggs Benedict perfect. Great place and very consistent.

Very reasonable prices, I had the red sock eyed salmon, with a honey glaze, it was good, but I prefer, blackened salmon with the bourbon glaze... but overall it was good
