Tripps Restaurants Review

Wasn't impressed. Usually lunch menus are cheaper because of smaller portions. Not here!

Food was delicious! Ordered a MR Ribeye and it was delicious. Elected to get french fries with it rather than the baked potato and they were perfect.

When we received our order my food was cold. Made them remake my order. Offered no discount on the bill just free dessert which was not wantef

Service was great, wish I could say the same for the food.

I really really enjoyed the food and the manager was extra nice!!!

My husband just ordered a meal that only cost $19 and was charged $27. He asked the waitress to confirm the price and all she said was that it was the taxes. Since when do a restaurant charge 70% tax on a carryout order. When he checked the receipt it wasn't itemized, just one flat price. Tripps steal from their out of state customers. Will never go there again.

Nikea was amazing...sorry if I miss spelt your name. Food was great...hostesses can use some work. If you go ask for Nikea and you won't be disappointed!

In town for a graduation and nine of us had dinner, Lane was our server and did a great job. We all enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere of the place! Will definitely come again!

Service was slow, which didn t make since because it wasn t very busy. The alcoholic drinks were watered down and my food was terrible.I sent back my plate and they didn t offer to remake it or make me something else. It was quite a disappointing experience because I ve eaten here years ago and the food was great but they must be under new management or have new cooks because things have changed for the worst!

Ordered the steak and shrimp. Service was good but my only concerns were that (1) I was asked to show ID with my credit card (never been asked that here before) and (2) why is my steak the size of my shrimp?

Tripps has the best salad! They put almonds in it...but it huge so bring your appetite!

I have eaten at Tripp s a lot over the last 12 Years. The food and service is always great. Perfect place to take your client or family.

Food was excellent. Our server was great. The ambiance was very nice.

Always good quaility food. Friendly staff and the managers are always out helping and asking if the customer is ok. Love their burgers and pastas.

Well, I hate to say it but I was disappointed. It has been a very long time since my last visit to Trips. Everything on the menu was at least 2-3 dollars more and the food wasn't that good. This may be my last visit.

Not that Tripps I am fond of. Over 25 year customer,steaks are mediocre,seem quick thawed. Used to be so fresh. Staff seems "happy" to be there. All an a all a fair lunch choice.Many other franchised places as good or better. Miss the ol' days I guess.

Great food, server NyKia was amazing, proactive and attentive. Never had to ask for a thing. Food was all correct and made as requested.

Food here was great. But unfortunately I was racially profiled.. By the manager and my waiter.

Great food, and easy to get to from my hotel, since I was only there for the week.

Crab cake medallions, the service is always great too! Never had a bad meal there.

Went for brunch. Meal was good, not too expensive, and the service was good.

The crab cake sandwich was awesome. Definitely will go there again. Wife had the French onion soup and it was such a meal in and of itself she had to take her quiesadilla home! Good stuff. The only reason it's not a five star is because our server who was wonderful was a bit inattentive and did not visit us as often as I would have preferred. I know I'm nit picking. Sorry.

They need to serve the same quality on Sunday as the weekday with steaks

First Time Dining Here, My Family Came In From Alabama And We Wanted To Try Something Different, The food was amazing and oh my God the mashed potatoes were the best I've ever ate... My Whole Family Loved It, We Will Be Back!!

A really nice meal. Solid service. Strongly recommend the spinach and artichoke egg rolls. My son was very pleased with his chicken bruschetta. I had a fried chicken Cobb salad. Best salad I've had lately. The veggies were fresh, cold and crisp. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was still hot when served. Looking forward to returning to Tripp's.

Tripps gets our nod when we don't want to cook or we're out around lunch time. We both had salads that were plentiful with a lot more chicken than one expects at other places. Pleasant service and good atmosphere. We don't work so we tend to go in for a late lunch and just hang out for a while. This is a good place to hang out.

I visited a few weeks ago. I haven't been here in years. My experience was just what I would expect for a customer oriented environment. There was an immediate acknowledgement when my guest and I walked through the door. The one and most important part of my experience was that the waitress stated her name. That rapport developed immediately! I believe her name was Kay (possibly since I didn't immediately review). She told us of drink specials which I did purchase. ($4 I believe Margarita). The food was absolutely spectacular! A lot to choose from. That oil based dip for the bread!!! Yummy!! At the end she and the front staff thanked us for coming. I believe this will be my favorite place to dine. I will be back! If I can figure out how to get to my camera roll I will share the pics. Thanks Tripps for a wonderful evening!

Basic. Food was enjoyed by all but somewhat room temp... Service was good but decor needs a freshen up...tired and a bit worn. Never been updated since open..20 years.

I had never eaten here before but so glad I stopped in a had lunch. The Restraunt is very clean, the wait staff are great, very friendly and super nice. The food is exceptional, the pasta dish tasted so so good and the creamy spicy Alfredo sauce was rich and delicious. I will definitely come back here again and again and reference to my friends this is a must lunch place.

They have trimmed down the menu so there is not the same level of options as say a Village Tavern but the choices they offer are usually good. Service seems to be hit or miss, even when not crowded.
Not a bad place, just a narrow menu and mediocre service compared to other options in the price range. Used to be better but seems to be losing competitive edge.

Some of the meals are overpriced imo, but they are very good. The shrimp and scallop alfredo is awesome

EVERYTHING about this visit was superb- food, service, wait time, all important liquor content in margarita, waitress who knows what she is doing...what more can you ask?

Got lunch to go. Ordered online. Fast, good. Cheesecake good $7 . Entree $9 and up.

Food was excellent. Went 2 days straight. The Louisiana shrimp and pasta dish was off the chain. Also had the Prime Rib sandwich. Excellent choice. Enjoy YOUR meal.

Great place to eat even when it's late, you're a pescatarian, gluten free, and the evening hasn't gone to plan. At least dinner can help make it better.

A great place for a night out. Pricing is reasonable and the food was great. I was very hesitant, as I don't normally agree with others about restaurants. However, I plan on returning for another fantastic and delicious meal.

Tripp's makes the best Long Island Iced Teas in the Piedmont Triad!

They practice proper distancing and all safety. The service is appropriately attentive. The California Chicken Salad is fantastic! My son enjoyed the ribs that just fell off the bones as well as the fries and mac & cheese.

The ambiance is terrific, the menu is very well balanced and good, our server did a great job, and the food was terrific. I've been here many times and will go there again in the future!

Great waitress, May, made it a great experience. That and the giant 5 citrus margaritas helped allot as well.

I ve been coming here for around 3 years and the food, atmosphere and customer service is always the best in town. It s hard to find a restaurant that has those qualities and great pricing. Sometimes i go just because of the laid back feel you get when you walk in the tavern area. Make sure you try the cranberry turkey flat bread if you haven t already! :)

Been eating at Tripps for years, hard to pick from all the delicious menu items but I'll have to go with the BEST Prime Rib around.
Oh yeah, don't forget the delicious salads too!!
