Nice lunch buffet spread. Clean and spacious lounge.

This was my 3rd stay at the hotel and like always it is memorable. Located barely 3 kilometres from Chennai Airport; The food and the ambience was great. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. The bedding provided was of superior quality. Overall a wonderful experience.

A good place to stay in Chennai. Nearer to the airport, but a bit far from the town. Check in is fast. The rooms are good, comfortable, and cozy. The entire staff in all departments are polite and ever ready to assist. The food also is good. The waiters help you to select an appropriate dish.

There were beautiful flowers and plants in different locations both inside and outside the hotel. Both the brilliant lighting solutions as well as the music in corridors and restaurant area had a calming effect on my mind and body. Thank you.

The air-condition and wlan worked well everywhere. It is clean everywhere.

In the room, I appreciated the availability of a device to make hot water for tea and coffee. Also, I appreciated that 4 bottles of water as well as different types of tea and coffee were made available every day.

There is a well equipped fitness center with tools that help to train all muscles. In the fitness center, freshly made mint water was also made available. There is also the opportunity to choose music of own preference, for example using YouTube.

Mr. Sathu, yoga trainer educated as bachelor of science, helped me well. We talked about the growing importance of staying healthy - including importance of eating healthily and moving / exercising our bodies. He also showed me simple exercises I can do anywhere. Thank you.

The breakfast buffet is wonderful and presented in a beautiful way. There are fresh fruits, a variety of Indian food, different kinds of eggs, bread and well tasting juice.

Ideas:
1. What about encouraging a supermarket to open a branch at or near the hotel?
2. What about improving walkways and bicycle lanes outside the hotel?

30/ 08 Things have changed, service level gone down room service is very slow and the options are very limited now.

Just an example ordered curd and plain rice for ( room service and room number 336) dinner . The curd is full of paper inside ( refer the picture ) no big reaction from the staff as usual some sorry statements and useless explanation

Livable hotel 10 minutes from Chennai airport. Overall it turns out to be quite clean. The cuisine is good, mainly Indian and the well-equipped gym is interesting.

The rooms and food were decent but there is scope for improvement.

Located right next to the airport, the Trident is easy to reach to or very convenient to leave for an early morning flight. Despite the double glazed windows, the proximity to the airport makes it rather unpleasant if you stay in one of the front rooms facing the runway. Same goes for if you are having a lawn party and the regular take-offs can cut off your conversations. The rooms are comfy and spacious. The food was great too, although when i ordered in room dining, it took them an hour to deliver it.

Excellent front office staff. Make you feel at home. House keeping could have been better!

Very near to airport which can take 5 mins to reach airport for you.
Good food served that may be buffet or menu things.
If go to roof you could see flights landing and takeoff easily a hotel with runway view.

Extremely courteous staff right from top to bottom. Though it was just a one day stay for me, the courtesy could be well felt.

The hotel was located in a calm area and was nearly maintained. The parking facilities were available for all of the visitors

Full of mosquito coil smell in the night.. If you are allergic to mosquito coil or dust don't visit here

Samudra- Worst speciality star rated restaurant. Quantity if food could not be lower. Nothing special in its ambience. Nothing special in service either. Doesn t even taste like south indian.

I would give it a 10star rating if I had a choice. The hospitality is amazing, hats off for the staff, be it housekeeping or the dining, the staff is extremely cordial and the ambience and comfort is amazing too. Totally worth its price.

Pretty good staff and service with helpful attitude. Pretty close to airport.

Heritage type building, quite quaint and appealing , service quality is great, however don't expect similar service late night. Good is awesome and you'd love the morning buffet spread. Value for your hard earned money.

Trident is a good hotel near airport, but far behind le meridian or equivalent, vegiterians must think before booking
