Travelers Haven Review

I have worked with Travelers Haven professionally at my apartment community for over 10 years. Josh Mayfield has been my go to for a few years now and he is incredible, amazing and so very helpful whenever I need something. I truly appreciate and look forward to many more years of collaboration and hoping they continue to use my communities as a placement spot for their clients!! 5 Star all the way!!!

I worked with Travelers Haven as a corporate housing partner. Everyone I interacted with was efficient, thorough and kind, which is important when it comes to giving each client the best possible experience. Their work ethic reflects positively on every party involved, and I highly recommend getting in touch with them for any need you may have.

We will never use Travelers Haven again. We had multiple issues with the company; allow me to explain. TH did not pay rent on time in June which caused our apartment complex leasing office to call and email several times. They also made me make an appointment with the manager to show proof they we paid Travelers Haven our rent on time.
We had SEVERAL issues with our internet that only seemed to occur on weekends. TH does not have a 24/7 line available for non emergencies so those internet issues had to wait until mid morning on Monday to even be addressed. One of those issues occurred due to travelers Haven inability to pay bills ON TIME. The other 2 times we went without internet for an entire weekend was due to equipment malfunction, both the modem AND the router had to be replaced once and we were only in this rental for 13 weeks!
The last issue we had was with our dog. Now, our dog was in the lease that we signed before we moved in but I m not entirely sure TH communicated this to the rental property. Security guards on the property stopped us three times asking if management knew we had a dog in the building. One of those times, they stalked our dog walker and followed her up to the apartment before promptly asking her about the dog. JUST RIDICULOUS. Well, anyway, we will never be using Travelers Haven again.

DO NOT !!!!use them at this time I am in a rental they set up in PA because I am a travel nurse With my family and now we at the mercy of people who don't care about helping you or do their job and solve the problem for you we have had nothing nothing but troubles!!!! I Was assured everything would be 100% when we moved in , nothing further from the truth I have been trying to get internet and cable since day one. (I home school my boys )Over a week ago !! like I said was suppose to be 100% when I moved in . I have been in phone for over 10 hrs with cable because travelers haven doesn't know what to do finally I get cable people to apartment 8 days later and internet and cable cannot be fix must bring in construction. Crew!! Next week !!!so I call I want another apartment all you will hear from them is "unfortunately there really nothing we can do today" and your left doing it your self ,they quote you apartment prices be sure and ask the apartment manager because you will be paying more than everybody else!! Furniture used is trash!!!oh they said they would exchange bed but never asked me what would be a good time just scheduled it when I wasn't there oh and didn't even let me know they had scheduled it until until after the fact , No wash clothes. No dish towels , apartment smells I have complained over and over !! No resolution except what I have done!! Not them , so beware they are only there to sit back and take your money ,and you get to fix everything else your self!!! I demanded a new apartment today because of everything that is going wrong here's what I got "oh well unfortunately it has to be approved through apartment manager and she will not be in until Monday " so if a problem during week your out of luck but your really out of luck on week ends. So like I said say away!!!! Call a realtor or some one trusted because they are just there to take your money period .

Travelers Haven is an excellent company who is passionate about their customers. They will make sure they take great care of their customers when issues occur. They are very quick to respond. Kyle Stough is a team lead for this company who coordinates issues that have to be handled quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend all of them.

Daniel was my agent. He did his part. Found us a great place to stay and the furniture in the apartment was all so great. What was not so great was the accounting department. They did not take the first or the last month rent out of my account when they said. I agreed that they could take out the two months rent over a four week period the month of Feb., which they did not follow through with. They started taking money out the month of April (more than agreed upon). When I called, they said I owed them more money than my contract stated. They quoted invoices, which never received. My roommate, account was debited $500 more than our contract stated. Which they stated, was owed to them.

This company has been awesome to work with. Their friendly staff has helped made relocating to Denver way easier than I thought it was going to be. I highly recommend them!

I work for a marine construction company in Jacksonville, FL. We do a lot of work along the east coast of the United States. We house our employees in apartments due to the lengthy amount of time they can be away from home. Traveler's Haven has been a life saver when it comes to finding a nice place for our employees. They're the absolute best when it comes to securing a safe unit, either furnished or not and making sure all utilities are up and running prior to move in. All the employees have to do is an application and go pick up keys to the unit when it's ready for move in. I couldn't recommend their services enough. The employees are fantastic and really build a great work relationship with you. I feel they're a team member of mine, which makes the entire process so much more enjoyable. I've had the chance to work with 3 different team members, two for housing and one from finance. They were all exceptional! If you are a small company or a larger one, please give Traveler's Haven the opportunity to work with you. You will not regret the decision and your employees will be in great hands. I would not recommend anyone do business with this organization. They are not up front about the costs. I was quoted one cost and then presented with a lease that was double the amount. Needless to say I didn't enter into the contract but then they tried to charge me a bogus $300 cancellation fee. When I tried to complain to someone I got the run around. Poor business

I have been using Traveler's Haven for a temporary living arrangement for a job in NYC. Very impressed at the excellent customer service I have been consistently receiving, especially from Genavieve. During these stressful times, having a smooth, pleasant booking process was a huge help for me. Communication with Genavieve was exceptional, she is always quick to answer all my questions and concerns. Wish I always dealt with employees like her! Will be using this service again.

I have worked with Travelers Haven through work and have enjoyed the experience. They are efficient and actively listen to customer feedback.

They will steal from you, continue billing after you have closed the account, this company commits fraud

I have had a great experience working with Travelers Haven. Everyone I ve worked with has been quick to respond and act. We needed temporary housing during a home renovation and they were able to find us an apartment close to our home, in a nice area and at a good price. It was fully furnished and they handled everything with the leasing office. Going through a major home renovation/moving is stressful enough but with Travelers Havens help, there was one less thing to worry about.

I've been working closely with Traveler's Haven for almost a year now, and they have been so easy to work with. They are always very prompt and courteous in their responses!
I work with Amanda Keith the most, and I've loved working with her. Even when clients change their minds, she always rolls with the punches and makes sure I'm updated on everything they require. Amanda is very helpful and kind, and I always look forward to her e-mails! If you need help, she's your gal!

Travelers Haven is by far the most professional and organized corporate housing provider I have encountered. Their staff is receptive and responsive to any questions or concerns, specifically Genavieve. She has been great to work with and I appreciate her continued communication. I would highly recommend working with this great group.

Worst. Kitchen utensils broken. Missing items. I arrived to my location to find out they weren't expecting anyone from corporate housong so my children amd I had to sleep in a hotel after a very long stressful trip and a moving load. Ince they found a place. It wasn't vacuumed. The furniture was dusty regatdless of me telling them my child has severe allergies especially to dust. Have actual medical documentation. She also has asthma. They provided an iron that didn't work. And a knife set with missing utensils. By the way whwn speaking to their emergency line be sure to take names. Because theu never follow through on what they tell you on the phone. You have to call back several times. The apt had a slight smell. It was also im a very bad location. But was actually a pretty decent apartment considering the horrible crime infested location. Garbage disposal had a stiffed shirt in it from their previous resident. It was pretty disgusting it was stuck in the drain. Not a good experience.

Travelers Haven has a phenomenal staff! Working very closely with Travelers Haven over the past year has been a great learning experience for both our companies . Sierra Eubanks has been an awesome point of contact who;s efforts do not go unnoticed. She goes above and beyond to effectively communicate orders, cancellation, collections and any other issues that need a quick resolution to provide the best customer experience. She is passionate about her customers and always ensures a Flawless move-in for her guest. I enjoy working with Sierra because she is an absolute a people person , with guest needs always on the top of her list! Please keep up the great work you are doing Sierra!

Be Forewarned!! I contacted and partnered with Traveler's Haven to find a corporate unit for my family and I. Bad Mistake! From the unit they placed me in to the professionalism or lack thereof of the Accounts Manager, Daniel Knigge, this experience ranks as one of the lowest of my professional tenure spanning 30+ years. As you can discern from the pictures included, the complex Traveler's Haven partnered with appeared to "hastily" arrange a unit that failed in every manner to meet any "corporate" standard.

To make matters worse which was as insulting as the apartment itself, Daniel, when contacted, was actually more concerned with the "lease" than the safety of my family and quality of life expectations commensurate with the nearly $3K I paid for the accommodations. He failed to return my calls choosing instead to send veiledly thinned emails inquiring about "how it was going?" After 96 hours of waiting for another viable course of action...enough is enough. Less than 10 feet from a major street, loud and blaring music at 2:00 a.m. from the apartment above, and general lack of safety controls equates to a subpar environment.

Daniel, I am hopeful erroneously, articulated that Traveler's Haven was not responsible for the surrounding environment (safety) and had not seen the property. Both unacceptable standards, as I am certain Traveler's Have has, as part of its corporate strategy, pre-defined criteria with those housing organizations it partners with.

Do your research, I erred in this regard as I blindly entrusted (and compensated) Traveler's Haven to do so on my behalf!

I have worked with Travelers Haven for over 10 years providing furnished housing for traveling staff at the hospitals here in Santa Fe, NM. I have always been very pleased with the efficiency of all the people who organize the contracts, get the checks out, and who stand behind the travelers that they send to me. I used travelers haven to find a short term lease on a furnished apartment in Milwaukee, WI. If you are searching for something similar I highly recommend travelers haven. I know they are able to find housing in many cities.

I was sent on a temporary assignment for work that meant either staying in a hotel or finding a short term lease for 90 days. I preferred something with a kitchen that would feel a little more like home and would be furnished. I found multiple companies that offered furnished apartments, including two that were offering housing in the same apartment complex, travelers haven and a competitor. The competition was significantly higher priced than travelers haven even though it was the exact same apartment.

Initially, I worked with Alex Woods to set up my lease. I had a lot of questions since work was paying for the apartment and I was going to be moving in sight unseen. Alex was great, and able to answer every question in a timely and professional manner. Alex even shared his personal experience with parking a pickup truck inside of parking garages, which ultimately helped me to make my decision on which apartment I chose.

After signing my lease, my account was transferred to Sarah Block. Sarah was amazing as a client experience specialist. Again, work was paying the bill and because of it, I ended up having a lot of extra questions and hoops to jump through. Sarah was expertly professional and knowledgeable. If I did have a question she was not sure of, she searched out the answer and responded in a timely manner.

Ultimately, if I ever need corporate housing again Travelers Haven will be the only company I do business with. If all of the employees at travelers haven are as professional and helpful as Alex Woods and Sarah Block I guarantee you that your experience will be as 5 star as mine.

Travelers Haven has been my go to for several years. I am a travel nurse and they never disappoint. They are always reachable with a 24 hr on call person who is more than helpful. I recommend them to anyone and they are definitely my first choice! Thank you, Travelers Haven.

I have worked with a lot of companies as a community manage but Travelers Haven is top notch, they are very prepared as well as made their client that moved in Decatur Point very happy! The whole team was on top of everything and it was so easy to get this lease completed. I praise their company and the staff especially for all they have done.

My Construction company and I have been on traveler for roughly 20 months within that time I personally have received over 5 notices of non-rental payment notice if not paid the rental space and belongings will be possessed and the 2 team members have received a similar amount.

It is very concerning being on the road and getting this notice because it is your personal belongings that with be locked up and taken if rent has fail to be provided.

Travelers Haven management must suck horrible for them not to remember a recurring rental payment for the time of lease. I think it is unacceptable to play with peoples personal belongs and housing.

They have made sure that our experience has been smooth and beneficial on both ends, and we appreciate the relationship that has been established throughout this process. This Company is a SCAM. Their web page talks about they only do things they could tell their Mothers ,
Well Moms they stiffed us. We were promised by phone by Allie Fiero, Closing Coordinator $1,000 for keeping our house off the market for September....zero. Joshua Mayfield , Supply Contract Specialist states in his cancellation letter, All we can offer you is an apology . So they are not even good for the verbal promise of $1,000. At their request....we scheduled our house manager to be there 9/16 to allow for furniture delivery. He had to rearrange his week to be there, again at our cost. There s more but suffice to say that from their salesman Michael Hahn, Senior Territory Manager to Joshua Mayfield, this company cannot be trusted.

Travelers Haven has leased several apartments at Estancia San Miguel, and each time we receive wonderful communication, timely payments and the apartments are left in perfect condition at move out. The staff that works with the office is amazing and so professional and friendly. We welcome them to our property any time.

I really enjoy working with Travelers Haven. They are very knowledgeable in all areas of corporate rentals, easy to work with, communicate on all aspects of the agreement, and make doing business fun. Every state has it's challenges and budget constraints when setting up corporate housing and I truly feel like they are my partner while setting up my accommodations. I had some medical issues which required me to be away from home for several months. We were referred to Keith McCarthy at Travelers Haven by another satisfied transplant patient. At a time when we were too busy with medical issues, Keith found us available temporary housing, had it fully furnished, secure for my caregiver to move into. This service was invaluable to us at this time. Keith was very professional, thorough and accurate in all he quoted and promised. It would be a pleasure to do business with Keith McCarthy again!

We are very satisfied with the work from Travelers Haven . We were looking for reasonable apartment living while waiting for medical surgery. Its definitely the way to go . Hotel living gets old after about two weeks. They take care of everything down to the forks and knives in the drawer, sheets , towels, cable etc. I highly recommend Travelers Haven to assist you with all of your housing needs and accommodations .They found us a nice apartment in a very nice neighborhood and we are close to parks , shopping . All the conveniences that you need when you are away from home.

We partnered with Travelers Haven years ago and have been very happy with their service levels, housing options and pricing. They provide quality apartment and hotel options for us and our clients, which are traveling nurses. They are lovely to work with each day and always attend to our needs.

I normally stay at hotels for work assignments, but was referred to Jordan from Traveler's Haven to get an apartment for a longer posting. He was absolutely first class. He worked very hard to find the best option within the budget, and I'm very happy with the way things turned out. I ve used Travelers Haven twice now for 3 month work assignments. I have found the experience to be seamless and stress-free. The options are endless, you just need to be clear, right from the start, on what you need and the professionals at TH will help you find your accommodations and guide you through the process from start to finish. Shout out to Keith, whose team helped me mind my last place quickly and easily. And a huge shout out to Sarah B who was utterly professional, responsive, helpful and kind during this last assignment. When the linens weren t quite up to my standards, she immediately contacted the vendor in the city where I was, and they delivered brand new linens. She also immediately got me a second bedside table and reading lamp when I told her I needed that as well. A different vendor, but all done immediately, within a day. Responsiveness like this makes me certain I will use them again and refer TH to others.

I worked with Travelers Haven as another corporate housing provider. When we worked together they were quick and always ready to provide our guests with the best service. As a first time user of Travers Haven, I was very impressed with the responsiveness and helpfulness of the staff. If ever I had any problems or concerns, they responded almost immediately. That in itself, helped me out so much and decreased my stress. Would definitely recommend!

Upon arrival we walked in to one of the most filthy places I've ever seen. Dried food in the door handles and on chairs, dust so thick it had turned the shades black, and blood on the mattress covers. Contacted Daniel and we got a "oh I'm sorry about that let me let someone know" & that went nowhere. I scrubbed the entire house, shades, cabinets, washed all of the dishes, we went and bought a vacuum as the ones here didn't work, & washed their bed sheets. As we were stuck we dealt with it. Recently, my son was basically abandoned by his father in Texas and my husbands grandmother had a stroke so we have to leave to go to Arkansas. The hospital was fine with it, our company was fine with it but we now have to continue to pay rent until December. I'm shocked that due to unforeseen circumstances we still have to continue to pay rent on a place we won't be in. I wonder how other medical staff, when the contract is cancelled, manage to pay rent to Travelers plus wherever they go next?? Which is what we have to do.

Excellent Corporate Housing Company. Dedicated account representatives, quick response times, friendly staff. Overall wonderful experience so far partnering with Traveler's Haven.

I have worked with Travelers Haven multiple times and each person in the company I have emailed or spoken with is very nice and considerate. They are great at communicating with their clients and have a great system down to ensure an easy move in and move out process for everyone involved. I truly appreciate them and cannot wait to continue to work with them in the future!

Traveler's Haven is a scam. As a short-term contractor, they have immense appeal considering the ease of which everything is advertised as. The turn around time was good, but you can see why:

They did not properly vet the apartment they placed me in. It has mold, blocked vents from buildup, clear water damage, cracked floors, dirty carpets, broken appliances/doors, and other residue.

Keep that in mind while you look at your receipt and talk to your account manager. That cleaning fee (that they so clearly didn't apply toward cleaning)? Not refunded.

Ask them to resolve it, and they get maintenance (from the apartment complex...not at their expense) to come and do a poor job at addressing complaints.

Here's the kicker: You can expect to pay approximately double what the rent actually is. They claim the upcharge is for handling your utilities/cable/internet and renting furniture. Local sourcing tells me that they pad each of those (i.e furniture rental at $600 was my line item; local sourcing quoted me at $379), as well as their standard upcharge overall (mine was an additional $200). In case that isn't bad enough, they charge you their one-time fee "for their services" at the signing of your contract... for $350.

Avoid this company like the plague. I am currently talking to a lawyer and the BBB about this "business".

Keith McCarthy was incredibly responsive and helpful. I was on a huge time crunch and having someone else help track down furnished apartments was definitely a load off of my mind. I'm the type of person who has a million questions and is always trying to get the best deal, but I never got the feeling that Keith was growing impatient with me. Even when I told him I had found something independently and likely wouldn't be using their service, he was nothing but gracious. Keith was a real class act!

After leaving a negative review I really appreciate the personal call that came to rectify the problems I was having. Customer Service call came quickly as well.

I have been working with Travelers for about a year now and I can barely remember life before them.

I use their services for our company relocation, temporary housing, really just all things home related which is a very stressful piece of work for employees.

Prior to Travelers I was doing this on my own and needless to say, I am beyond grateful for the expertise they provide.

I work directly with Drew and both him along with his team are not only very responsive but they come up with countless options on extremely short notice and I have not received a single complaint about their services, housing, etc...

In short, you pay for what you get and I couldn't, or rather, I prefer not to imagine my life without them.

Cynthia never showed up on 4/12/ 2015 or 4/13/2015, so we informed travelers haven office. next morning we received a call from their office asking about total charges for reserved room and we told them that since reservation was not cancelled before cancellation policy two nights charge will be applied to the card on the file i.e. VISA and AMERICAN EXPRESS.

The cards given by them DECLINED.
FRAUD COMPANY.

I own a concierge service located in Brevard County Florida. I wish to offer my review of the corporate side of Travelers Haven.

I am called upon to represent Travelers Haven during cable installations throughout Central Florida and the space coast for units that are about to be occupied.

My contact person is housing coordinator Daniel Smith. I wish to commend Mr. Smith for his professionalism. All of our interactions have been efficient, clean, and crisp. Any time I have had issues with getting paid he has interceded and resolved the issue in a timely manner.

He multitasks effortlessly, and follows through with his daily interactions with me.. I wish to recommend Mr. Smith enthusiastically and without reservation. Your company would be well served to consider him for management promotion.

Travelers Haven is a great company to work with for hard to find short term furnished leases. I have been working with them for 3 months and they haven't let me down!

What an incredible disappointment. After being contacted by a Nicole, one of the salespeople last week, and answering all of her questions about my unit, I agreed to house two dialysis nurses for three months with three days notice for my Honolulu home/condo unit. I executed a lease with them last Friday May 31st, and the nurses arrived to pick up their keys on Saturday. I gave them a tour of the unit: a brand new two bedroom apartment with a new single bathroom with double sinks, custom shower and water closet. The unit is located in a 1.8 million home within a private gated community located five minutes and fifteen minutes from their workplaces, and 5 minutes from downtown. I guess they were unhappy that they had their own enclosed garage and one outside parking (inpossible to find in Honolulu), or had to share a bathroom for a whopping $2500 a month. Before the check for the rent and security deposit arrived via Fedex, Joshua CANCELLED MY CONTRACT, saying that the nurses had a problem with sharing the front door and hallway within the house. They didn't hear that their private entrance was under construction and would be completed within a week; nor that they would have their own washer and dryer after a week as well. It seems that those facts weren't communicated to your corporate office. Joshua wrote that the nurses weren't happy with several things, and he "wants to find my side of the story:" I have called him for two days, and he is "just back from vacation and has been catching up on work". I have left several voice mails and messages about the three days Traveler's Haven has spent renting my unit, and NOT PAYING. He will be hearing from my attorney for breach of contract and wrongfully vacating the premises. Further, I don't appreciate the threat of me "paying for the fees if I cashed the checks" they sent via Fedex. Joshua, look forward to the Fedex with your civil case inside. That will be my only communication from now on.

I was recently interviewed about Travelers Haven and listening to myself answering their questions made me more aware of how much Travelers Haven does for me. My company has enough faith in them to allow me to use them exclusively and to put their business in their hands. It is an honor to work side by side to make our travelers experience a great one!

If I could rate Travelers Haven as 1000 stars I would. The company itself is DREAMY has always been easy to work with. I work for Greystar Property Management - and have had the pleasure of coordinating short and long term leases at six different properties in Denver. Over the last six months, my relationship with Travelers Haven has only gotten better - mostly because of Jessica Englund. We work well together whether we have two days or two months to get an apartment ready for move in. I wish I could fill my entire community with Corporate leases through Travelers Haven.

I've been traveling for 4 years with my current employer. Traveler's Haven has been good. The apartments are clean and fully furnished. If there is an issue there is an emergency number and there is someone available to help with our needs.

I work closely with Travelers Haven Housing Logistics Team on a daily basis and Sierra Eubanks is the sweetest most hard working gal I know. She is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure her customer's satisfaction. She truly is a joy to work with and has such great work ethic.

I recently moved to Nashville and used Traveler s Haven to lease my apartment. The process was smooth and easy and I felt like Kevin and Sarah had gone above and beyond to make sure that I got into a new home and could begin my life here. I was so thankful for everything they did for me.
One week to the day after I moved into my new apartment, Nashville was struck by several deadly tornadoes overnight. My neighborhood and apartment building had been directly hit. In the light of day, I found myself alone in a new city with no home. I was physically ok, but traumatized and terrified about what was going to happen. I texted Sarah to make her aware of what happened hoping she could help in some way.
Next thing I knew, both Kevin snd Sarah had texted me, told me everything was going to be ok and assured me that they were going to help me. The exemplary customer experience they had already shown me was nothing compared to what happened next.
In the midst of chaos, uncertainty, and hundreds of displaced people, Kevin went to work trying to find me a new home. Power was out, apartment complexes were over wrought with calls from people desperately seeking new homes, and the whole city was in shock. I had temporarily been put in a hotel by my employer, but the clock was ticking. .... I had 5 days. I m not sure how he did it but on the second day, Kevin secured my new home!
He and Sarah communicated flawlessly. I knew what was happening and how hard they were working to ensure I would have a place to live. My move in day is Tuesday... one week from the day the tornado hit. But there s still more!! When they found out that there would be a 2 day gap between my hotel stay and my move in date they made sure that it was taken care of and called the hotel to add the extra days!
In a time when I felt completely alone and unsure of essentially everything, Kevin and Sarah stepped in and handled every detail. Traveler s Haven and the people they employ are beyond amazing. I have never met people who put so much heart into helping their customers.
Thank you Kevin and Sarah!!!!! You took a horrifyingly difficult situation and made me feel safe and cared for. You are beyond great at what you do.... you are great people. I appreciate you more that you could possibly know!!!!

We own and manage apartment communities in the US and have never had such a convoluted transaction in attempting to simply provide elegant quarters for medical professionals.

We found our inaugural experience with the company an administrative bungle from the onset. We would not, under any circumstance, deal with Travelers Haven again. Its staffers are young neophytes who have not the slightest idea of how higher-end multi-family real estate operates.

An administrative nightmare is an understatement.

Travel nurse company placed me in housing through their services. Pictures of apartment complex given to me, was not where the apartment complex housed the travelers. We were being placed in their old section of apartments. If you get many complaints, stop using that apartment complex, if you can t rectify the issues!!!!!! Instead of taking our money and housing is poorly !!!

Matrixx Concierge Services has been a vendor for Travelers Haven since 2013 and since our first assignment we knew they were an excellent company to work for. Daniel Smith and his team are outstanding to work for, very professionals, cordial and with superb customer service skills. Daniel and his team make us feel as part of their team and always complement our work which is rewarding.
If I ever come across anyone who is in need of a Corporate Housing Company, Travelers Haven will be the one I recommend. They always choose the best for their clients and want to make sure all the services they provide are performed to perfection.
