I have always been very biased towards choosing Shangri-La Hotel as my choice of stay. Shangri-La brand of hotel rarely disappoints. However, this visit of mine was disastrous in the beginning but the recovery effort was equally impressive too. I will still continue to be a loyal customer of the Shangri-La brand group.

Great room , view , comfortable bed , well looked after every day I requested day Because Some days I needed nothing but space and quiet . Staff. Respected that .! Food is Superb and staff ! Great help arriving and departing plus information . I first came to " Traders " Many times , aprox. 20 yrs. ago ! Such consistent Quality is RARE and it was a joy to return ! Thank You ALL !

Everyone from the Bell Captain to the Front Desk to the Cafe Servers to the Horizon Club lounge to the House Keeping staff were all the most hospitable, accommodating team I have ever experienced as if we were all family.

Lobby may not be lavish but excellent for location and price. Nice pool, gym and buffet breakfast. The hotel is tuck in a quiet corner next to shopping and yet just minutes walk to busy Chinatown. Everything is in good quality in the room. Friendly and good English speaking staff. Will definitely return and stay again.

Excellent hotel, excellent restaurants and bars, but health club needs major upgrade and renovation, new carpeting (smelly), showers have too hot water that can burn you, poor quality shower area, sauna and jacuzzi. Broken fixtures, lighting and major upgrade required to modernize. Again, needs major upgrade, but overall "OK" but does not meet Shangri La international standard. Pool service good, but deficient signage and food and beverage service.

Cockroaches in the room. Dirty bathtub (hair and other stuff)

On the second day of my stay in the Hotel, the water in the room could not be used. I did not get any information except a paper that was left in front of the TV which I hardly saw. If only they call me or come to my room to notify before I used the toilet, I would not necessarily had an inconvenient experience of not being able to clean my self and flush the toilet. They eventually gave a room replacement and gave me an airport transfer as complimentary. I would like to thanks the Duty Manager who responded me fast and positively.

Good location, clean room, big selection of food at breakfast. However, i got sick and had fever and asked receptionist for medicines and doctor they said they have no medicine and the only doctor worked until 4 or 5 PM. It's sad, lack of client-orientation.

Yangon is a wonderful and vibrant place and it can be hot and noisey, the Sule Shangi-La hotel is a luxury place to rest and recharge.

I came to the room to ask if there was a shortage of drinking water, and the service arrived and I felt secure staying well Security is also convenient There is also a large supermarket and I want to stay if I have the opportunity I would recommend it to a friend It is a hotel

Very pleasant stay for 4 nights from 11-15/12/19 . Although the first room given to us was low floor and view from the window was the roof of nearby building, the next day, we were moved up to higher floor with Shwe Da Gon Pagoda view. Room is a bit dated but cleanliness of the room is excellent. We stayed another newer big name hotel nearby before but the level of house keeping here is much better as in bathroom and room is almost spotless. One lady ( forgot her name) from house keeping even come and knocked our door to ask anything needed. Upon seeing my kid, she offered to send some chocolate, bathroom slipper and soft toy. Very nice gesture to make our stay enjoyable. Overall very pleasant stay and will be coming back here again for our next trip to Yangon.

Very nice decoration and toilets are clean at summer palace restaurant in this hotel.
They cooked very well and delicious meals.
Most of the staff are warmly welcome, helpful and kindness.
Feel comfortable for our family and me.
Especially their staff Ei Soe is very good serve
and helpful for our birthday celebration party.

Fantastic seafood buffet spread. Great for those wanting to feast on shellfish - crabs, prawns, mussels and clams all fresh, sweet n juicy.

Decent selection of good quality cheese - goulda, ementhal, camembert n cheddar

Meat selection is limited. Was hoping for some roast beef but no such luck.

Very nice hotel in the Shangri la franchise conveniently located within mall and office complex which is resident to Coke, World Bank, and other large MNOs. Even a grocery store in basement. Great staff, clean, and couple of nice restaurants. Right in heart of Sule district so easy to get to major attractions if you should be a tourist.

Very nice rooms with great smiling staffs always trying to help you. Very good breakfast. Nice gym and Spa. The pool area could have a better atmosphere.

Dinner in the restaurant. The buffet was not the best I ve seen in Yangon. We went a la carte. Curry was cold, greasy and not great. Service was good and the location is handy.

My office was at this hotel at that time. I remember it as Traders Hotel, big and modern hotel in Yangon. The location is very strategic, at the junction of Sule Pagoda Rd. The scene surrounded was good and fascinating. Many culinary places and very close with Boygoke Market. I miss it!
