Your finance team lie to customer. I bought my Toyota highlander on Saturday and purchased extended warranty and north west protection package. Your team sold me it for 3850$ on Saturday night. After searching on google i realized that I over paid and on sunday morning I visited your dealer ship to cancel these items. Your sales person told me that it is finance people work and they will do it and they will come on Monday. I called on Monday multiple times and left the messages. NO one replied. On Tuesday (delivery date) i asked finance person to cancel it. But he simply told me that we can cancel it and told he has sent the documents for coverage. After more discussion he agreed to return me 500$ and TOOK OUT THE contract which he has not sent any where till then and just reduced the amount. It means that he was having the contract and he has not sent it any where for registration and just want to earn money and don't want to cancel it. If this is the way to earn money then I am sorry I will not recommend this dealership in my workplace (Microsoft) and in my friend circle. Best of luck for your future.

More :- Vehicle which was ready for delivery is having sand on mirrors and dust inside the cabin.

As of now after complaint to GM they are working with me on resolving this issues. It seems due to 1 bad people they are suffering.

Offered some more discount after complaint. But still I feel as a customer you should not just rip off the custom for money. I spent 45K+ money and no happiness while moving out of dealership.

Great customer focused sales staff. George Chaker was our Sales agent, and going into the dealer I had done a lot of research on pricing, etc... My wife new exactly which model she wanted. George was knowledgeable, friendly, confident and very informative. My wife found the RAV4 model she wanted and George produced it within 10 minutes correct color, interior etc.. The negotiations were typical Dealer back and forth, and overall she purchased at a fair price. She purchased some extras from the dealer and I have full confidence the Dealer will follow with these Options. Once again, anyone looking for a Toyota or any used car, go and see George Chaker at Toyota of Lake City

I bought my first car from Toyota of Lake City. As fun it is, it can be hectic and stressful at times. This was the third dealership that I visited and got a solid price. Though I planned to not buy before visiting good chunk of dealers, could not say no to George and CJ. Very practical and genuine people. Highly recommend George Chaker and Toyota of Lake City.

Just traded up to an FJ-cruiser. Love the SUV and what really got us was the service we got to get to our price point for the vehicle we wanted. The staff worked hard to get us what we wanted and even a little extra. The manager even ran to the store to get me a soda. Highly recommend this dealership.

Thanks to the great response, I'm going to edit this review.
I bought a Camry in Fairbanks and shipped it to Seattle when I was a student at UW.
[Sidebar] because winters in the Interior of Alaska are worse than wicked, there are certain fluid ratios that help a car survive -50 degrees (yes, you read correctly, that is 50 degrees below zero). I booked a full systems flush at Lake City Toyota because the car had those Interior AK-specific ratios that were no longer necessary in balmy/gloomy Sealand.
I read way too much into the tech/rep/whomever remarking to me that my car's coolant was 60%/40% as if I didn't know it (I believe we have covered the -50 degrees). His remark ultimately indicated that he was the last to realize that that's why I booked the flush; perhaps he had never encountered that scenario. It is unfair of me to assume a person will use context clues (ie Alaska plates, after market heating elements on the car, etc.) and it is equally unfair of me to assume he was treating me like I was ignorant of how a vehicle operates.
One more star for that response.
Thanks, Toyota Lake City, I know you mean well.

They add on a "second sticker" price. Ignore it and start negotiations with the Manufacturer Retail Sale Price (MSRP). I thought dealers did away with this nonsense. WATCH FOR THE UPSELL when signing the final paperwork, and read it over carefully!

City. Friendly staff willing to go the extra mile. Left with new 4 Runner and new family. Don't buy a Toyota anywhere but Lake City. Chris and Shay really worked hard to meet my wife's needs.

I purchased a new vehicle from Toyota of Lake City and had a fantastic experience.

Salesmen: The Sales team was fantastic (particularly: Jackson - Salesman; Larry - Sales Manager). They went over all the details of the vehicle I was interested in and answered all my questions. I found their knowledge of their products exemplary. When I asked an obscure question, they went out of their way to find the answer for me. What struck me the most was their goal to give the customer the best experience possible. I felt comfortable evaluating the vehicle at my pace and never once felt pressured by their team. During price negotiation, they were very upfront with me, did not play any games, and provided a fair price.

Financing: Once I made the decision to purchase the vehicle, their finance team (Raad) went over the appropriate documents. This experience was just as outstanding as working with the sales team. He explained in detail the various warranty options (both standard and extended) and his honest opinion of pros and cons. Again, as with my experience with the sales team, I never felt pressured to purchase additional coverage as Raad did a great job of explaining why I might want the services his team was offering.

Sale complete: After the purchase was made, the sales team (Jackson) made sure I was able to customize the vehicle features (onboard application suite) to my preferences. Once complete the sales manager came by to make sure I had a good experience as well.

Post sale: The following day, the GM, Chris, personally called me to check on my experience. I was very impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail. I realize that a GM is very busy and was very pleased to see him take time out of his busy day to personally call and check on my experience.

I can not speak highly enough about my experience here and will not hesitate to refer others to this dealership.

I recently bought a Prius at Toyota of Lake City and the entire experience was remarkable. My sales person Tae, really took the time to understand what I was looking for in a car that was within my budget. His questions were thoughtful and he listened to my answers, while providing valuable feedback.

Shay, the finance manager was equally thoughtful and was extraordinary at finding the right finance situation for me. He explained everything in detail and contributed greatly to my sense of being cared for. I was treated with respect throughout the entire time, and was presented with options that I could work with. There were a few minor dents in the car, which they fixed without charge and provided a free rental while the work was being done.

As a single woman, car shopping can be intimidating, but those fears were quickly dismissed soon after I entered the building. Everyone was friendly, informative and made me and my grandchildren, who were with me, feel at home. Thank you for making this such a positive experience. By the way, I absolutely love the Prius.

Awesome process, Frank worked very hard to get me into a 2013 new Camry that suited my needs and my budget. I absolutely love, and they didn't haggle over price. They gave me a great price from the beginning, and the deal was the easiest and most seamless I've ever had. At no time did I ever feel pressured. I've been to dealerships where they've played a bunch of games to get me to sign on the dotted line, but Frank at Toyota of Lake City and Randy at financial manager was very professional and straight forward. This will be the first place I go the next time I need a new/used car.

By asking us what our needs were, David and Carlitos were able to match us up with the perfect model. We thought we'd be forced into an SUV sized model. This is my second truck purchase from Toyota of Lake City. Nick was my salesperson this time and was courteous, professional and well versed in the details of my new truck. The transaction was easy, fair and I was made to feel comfortable during my visits there. I traded my original truck in and they met me with a decent trade value that made the transaction fair for both of us. Paperwork took a bit longer due to my unique situation, but they were able and happy hold the new truck (that they had to source at another dealer) and still get me the special Toyota financing that was time sensitive. Easy and stress free for me, hopefully for them too! For service, I had always had my last truck serviced there (Troy took great care of me) and I will continue to do so with this vehicle as they always got me in on a timely basis and kept it working flawlessly.

One suggestion - Might be worth putting in a wash and detail bay for services other than an oil change. Apparently it would go a long way probably for some people on these Yelp reviews. But the free Brown Bear Car Wash tickets are nice!!

COSTCO BUYERS BEWARE! Reached there after driving 30 mins as they were referred by Costco car sales program. Met Joy, as she was the one sending emails and calling/leaving voicemail's the day since i enrolled in Costco program. She gave me a blank look like she was just not interested in my business. Gave her car name and model i wanted to see. She told me to wait and after 15 mins, she raised her hand from the door and said i can see the car. I got into the car and asked her for key, she made a face like i was about to run away with the car. i explained that i just want to look at features in car. Then i told her to explain features in the car, and she started talking gibberish (like this button is there for nothing and this car has this bumper, i think they put new.)

I made my mind not to buy from this place, but still wanted to know what Costco benefit they are providing. So finally the Costco benefit was - $300 off on an optional $899 green Car package. Then there was another charge of $800 in her estimate of some insurance. I asked her about it. Her answer was "It is there for your low down payment" I said I will put full down payment required, so what %age should i put down? and she was like "it depends, but i prefer people to take this insurance". I looked at her face and tried to understand what exactly she wants and she's high or tired or what. But she was totally confident about what she said. Then i took a pen and paper and explained her numbers on paper and she said my maths is wrong :). Then while waiting for her manager, i asked her if shes from area and her reply was offensive contrasting politics. Then i realized that maybe because of my middle eastern look she is just being forced to sit next to me, and i got answers for all my questions about her rude talk and i politely left this place.

They absolutely nailed my girlfriend on her first time auto loan interest. When I asked them about it, they admitted they could but wouldn't get her a lower rate. They sent the vehicle out with a bad rotor. When I called them about that they, siting that it is unsafe, they said they'd call me back. I went in and explained the car had problems and received a shrug. Will not buy from this location again.
(After posting this I received the response below that she basically shouldn't have agreed to the rate, showing a lack of accountability for taking advantage of a first time car buyer. Every other Toyota dealer we've been to treated me much better than they treated her. Why would making things right require more than two phone calls? The guys know the black Pilot and the lady they sold it to. If you wanted to make it right she would have heard from you already.)

A few months ago, while I was parking my car, my front passenger side bumper snagged on a high curb. The bumper cover was pulled away with a plastic part cracking off the car. The jolt from pulling my car off the curb also shattered my headlights. I wasn't driving much because of COVID, but recently, I finally had time to fix my car. I researched parts and how to install the parts I needed. The headlights were easy but the bracket for my bumper cover was a bit harder to identify. Mike Stonebraker from the Parts Department was so helpful in helping me identify the part and what tools I'd need (10mm socket wrench) to replace the bracket. He ordered the part for me and it arrived the next day. I don't think I would have had as easy of a time replacing that bracket without Mike's help. What I feared was an expensive and lengthy fix ended up being under $100 and took about an hour of my time. I am very grateful for Mike's help!

I inquired in Toyota through through the Costco auto program online and they sent me information to lake city Toyota. Within an hour or so, internet sales specialist Nick Wanta reached out to me and answered all of my questions quickly. He followed up our conversation with an email the next day and was very helpful taking care of the rest of my questions and got me in for an appointment when I was ready. On my test drive he was was very knowledgable of all the functions the vehicle had to offer.
Once we got back to the dealership, Nick worked hard to help me transition smoothly out of my lease and into my new rav4 hybrid and at a price I was happy to leave with.
In addition, to Nick's welcoming presence, the staff as a whole was pleasant doing business with.

Our salesman, Max, was very knowledgeable, professional, and generous with his time and experience. He was very believable and exuded genuine enthusiasm. No pressure. Shay, in finance, completed the experience smoothly and efficiently. This is our first Toyota but won t be our last - and only from Max and Shay on Lake City Way.

I regret buying my car here. Working with Finance team is painful. There will be a hard sell to take Vehicle Service Agreement(VSA)and other plans. No details on these agreements would be shared before you enter the finance room to sign the papers. I was told that I cannot buy these agreement once the car leaves the lot. Toyota Financial Services confirmed that I can buy any of these agreements till manufacturer warranty is valid (3 Years or 36K miles).

In my opinion, if you are buying Toyota you would not need VSA. The company is simply hedging against a quality product they sell. If you are truly considering buying VSA or other agreements, do more research. Mind you there are lot of exclusions which is why I decided to cancel. There are so many options apart from the Platinum plan that the Finance will pitch for. Do your research.

Had to take multiple trips to cancel the agreement. Received the refund from TMIS but not from the dealership which is taking forever. I'm so frustrated about making so many interactions with dealership and TMIS. Buying a new car should be seamless. Working with the finance was anything but seamless. Saving the sales team, my car buying experience here was pathetic.

I took a friend with me at 7 pm on a Monday night to be sure I didn't buy a car on the spur of the moment. I just wanted to test drive the Rav4. When I called to see if they could help me so late at night, Chaz Jenkins told me to come on down. He greeted me, ready to go, explained everything about the car and took me on a test drive. I received such excellent support in evaluating the car and the options offered to me that my friend knew there was no point trying to stop me from buying it on the spot. Bari Bhurgri took me through a thorough explanation of financing and paperwork, very clear and respectful. No pressure from anyone, fair pricing. I knew I wanted the electric storm blue model and wondered when I might be able to pick it up. When we walked out of Bari's office, there it was, freshly washed and ready to go. Chaz set up my bluetooth, cruise control buffer, and other features on the spot. 9:30 pm. Done deal. Everyone stayed let to let it happen. I had a great experience the whole time and highly recommend Toyota of Lake City, Chaz, and Bari. Followup has been excellent as well, and I love my car.

The transaction was efficient and I was able to drive the car home within a couple hours. The staff were all very kind and friendly. I especially appreciated the constant sanitation they were doing. It was a pleasant experience and a great deal. Nate was the sales manager that helped me with the deal. He was very on top of communication and was also super responsible, as he stayed longer than he was supposed to just to make sure that I was properly taken care of when I arrived. I highly recommend this dealership if anyone is looking for a good deal and just good people to work with.

I originally went there wanting a Prius C but after test driving it it and looking the trunk space I decided it was too small and Chaz helped me find the perfect pre-owned Prius. He even followed us home to get the title of my car I was trading in. I had a great experience and had no wait time and felt comfortable.

He offered to drive them up to the front as it was raining. Brought my Rav4 a month ago to have some repairs which I wasn't happy about, but Gabe and the managers in the service department worked hard to make everything right for us.

I've also brought my Rav4 in for maintenance and they are quick and efficient, and the waiting area is pretty swank: leather chairs, coffee bar which serves Coffee D'art, and there's a big screen TV. That's why I come here instead of the Toyota dealer closer to my home which takes them two hours and I have to wait in dirty old waiting area.

I knew I wanted to buy a Prius Plugin. A beautiful slightly used 2012 Prius Plugin was available, even in my favorite color. My very helpful salesman, Nick Wanta, got me an excellent deal on the car. The plug for the car was missing when I bought the car and within a week a replacement was found. No extra charge and no hassle. At purchase time I requested an extra key. When I got the plug, I received the extra key again at no extra charge. Nick has been available to answer any of my questions even after I bought the car and assures me I can contact him at any time in the future if I have further questions. If you are in the market for a car I highly recommend Nick Wanta and Toyota of City.

Not impressed with this dealership. We were ready to buy but they were very slow, overpriced, and had poor communication. We went somewhere else because we had a bad feeling about the place. Lake City Toyota, please don't respond to this review with a copy paste "We want to learn more, contact our GM" I see you have added to the rest of your negative reviews. This is my feedback. If you have a question for me, ask me here and I'll elaborate publicly.

UPDATE: If your GM won't talk to me here I have to assume you are a lame dealership. It's odd I write a lot of reviews? Why? And why doesn't the fact that your's is the only negative one concern you? To reiterate, I'm totally down to talk to your GM! Right here. Ball's in your court. P.S. You know this is a real review because you have a record of my visit.

He listened carefully to our comments and requests and ultimately located a 2012 Prius that meets our needs at a very competitive price. Four years ago, similar great assistance from another sales person at Toyota of Lake City helped bring us back for this current purchase, of a second prius. This time Mohhamed Ali's superb help will make Toyota of Lake City the first place we look for future purchases. Recommended.

Over 18 years I have purchased three cars here and had all three only serviced at Toyota of Lake City. I will never come back. After three calls to make a service reservation, I received a call telling me to let them know what day and they would accommodate me. I called back and told them Friday Aug. 16th. Today I arrived at 9:00am. The Blue Team service person told me that he typically does not respond to phone calls. I had a mailed recommendation for several service items and chose oil change, transmission service and alignment. My car was not moved until 3:02pm and I was told then that the car did not need the transmission service or the alignment. After 7 hours in the waiting room, I had only an oil change. I will never let my time be wasted by this company again. Oh and the snack bar never opened today.

My mechanic recommended a repair that he could not do because it required an alignment afterwards. Took it to the dealership because its very close to where I live. The staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I had them do a $40 inspection and they came back to me with an estimate of $2100 for the repair which was a rack and pinion. I expect the dealer to be a few hundred dollars more expensive than other shops but this seemed very high. I took my car to a trusted mechanic in Ballard and came out with a total bill of $1200 for the same exact repairs. I assume the work at the dealership is trustworthy and as I stated I had good interactions with the employee's. But almost a grand extra is too much for me.

I had been looking for a "new" used 4x4 for the last few months. This was to be my primary vehicle, so I was really picky. I was on Craigslist daily. Occasionally I would visit a dealer site. I happened to look at Lake City Toyota, saw a Highlander listed that must have just come in. It said call for price, I hate that. I stopped in Memorial Day on my way to the cemetery and talked to Chris the GM. He found the Highlander and I checked it out. It hadn't been prepped or anything, but, I liked it. He made me an offer. A good offer. I drove it and decided that day to take it. Olie, the salesperson, worked with me to make sure this is what I wanted and to make sure things went smooth. There were some cosmetic issues, but, it is a used vehicle. They found one major thing that wold have killed any profit they were going to make and I said to let it go. It's not a safety thing. Shay, in financing, who is great, worked with me on financing and I wound up with a better deal than either of my Credit Unions could do. Olie made sure I knew everything about my vehicle before I drove off the lot. She also got the owners manuals. 5 stars for Chris, Olie and Shay. I will recommend this dealer to others I know.

I felt she helped picked out the car that best met my needs. Shay in Finance was awesome and I felt he helped me get the right plan to protect my purchase. I highly recommend this dealership.

It's really great pleasure meeting Anna Moon! She is knowledgeable and skillful. What is super amazing is that she is so good at knowing our needs. She explained every details , and helped us understand as much as possible. We have two very little ones coming along, and they as expected are not quite helpful and could easily lose patience. Anna made the process quite easy for us, and she is great with kids. Finally we were able to choose the right model, and made a deal on the price. I would like to thank our salesperson, Eric Park, for his informative and friendly help in buying our new car. My wife appreciated Eric's attention to her questions, after having bad luck with other dealerships in the past. Eric was very helpful in answering questions and showing us different possibilities for the cars that we were considering. He also introduced us to several coworkers who owned the same model we ended up buying to get their perspective. When it came negotiating for our trade in, Eric and his manager Han Song, worked with us in getting a price that we were happy with. They gave us more for our car than the other dealerships that we had talked to. The rest of the staff that Eric introduced us to, such as the service and finance departments, were very nice and helpful too. Overall, I was impressed with the whole dealership and will be making the long drive (2.5 hours) to have the maintenance done at Toyota of Lake City.
I would recommend Eric Park and Toyota of Lake City for making the car buying process enjoyable.

Frank Chung is awesome! He was fantastic, knowledgeable and super efficient from start to end. He provided updates throughout the process, gave us a tour of the service area and even introduced us to our team manager, Gabe (who was also very friendly). The GM Chris Pappas is extraordinarily attentive and positive and gave us exactly what we wanted. We live much closer to two other Toyota dealerships but would recommend others to go out of their way to Lake City because they treat their customers so well!

Edited: Bought my RAV4 here, I have consistently received bad customer service with follow up questions and concerns especially regarding warranty issues. I asked several times prior to purchasing the car if a specific lift kit would be covered by their extended power train warranty, they said yes. But after purchase and when I asked them again about it they said it would not be covered. I have asked for help from finance and the maintenance shop to help work around this or make a recommendation and they have not made effort to help. My sister went in to finance a RAV4 and I tried to stop her because I told her how poor the customer service has been, but then Shay interrupted and said he would love to help settle my situation, convinced us everything would be fine, signed the new car for my sister and has still not resolved my current issue. There has been some effort but no results, I ve been waiting a few months now.

Probably would of bought a car here, but sales rep never called me back after stating he would. Found out the next morning they sold the car I was awaiting info for. Sure, first come first serve, I get it. But could of called me back to update me about it instead of making me wait all day. And yes, I did call back a few hours later but you guys were "busy". 2 stars because at least your receptionist had good customer service.
