A huge thank you and 5 stars to Toyota of Greenwich for servicing my Scion!! I am someone who knows very little about cars and have had trouble finding a reliable and honest mechanic. Service Advisor Alisa was so friendly and helpful. Lead mechanic Jared was so kind and patient with me, taking time out of his day to test drive the car with me and help me understand my car better. Couldn't have asked for better service, and will definitely be bringing my car there in the future!!

If I can give half a star I would. I don't take time to write reviews for anything but after my awful experience here, I want to warn others about this place. These good reviews are certainly written by the staff that works there. Next to Toyota of Westport, this dealership is the worst, especially the service department. Just because of the awful customer service and overcharging, my family and I will never buy or lease or rent another Toyota again. Where to begin, I made an appointment at 10:30. When I arrived there, I was told my appointment was for 10 and that I cannot be seen since I showed up late! Then after refusing to accept that it was their mistake, I made another appointment. My extended warranty covers everything that has to do with electrical malfunctions. After explaining to them about my lighting issue on my dash, they said I will have to pay for it, as my warranty doesn't cover it. It very clearly on paper states it does so the service guy changes it and says it's a sensor issue. On top of all this there is an incredibly high wait time. Just for a simple oil change it takes 2 hours. Instead of going somewhere else for a 15 minute oil change. This place is expensive and a huge waste of time.

I brought in my 2005 Toyota Tacoma (which I bought from this dealer 12 years ago) because the frame was rusted beyond repair and I had heard about a frame replacement program. Astonishingly, Toyota made good on this and replaced the frame at NO CHARGE TO ME! True, the frame should not have rusted out like that. The truck was ready to fall apart on the next big bump in the road. However, it was Twelve Years Old. Toyota could have easily wormed out of that deal but they chose to make good. They stood behind their product. The Toyota of Greenwich team made it all very easy and did a perfect job. They took the truck completely apart, put in the new frame, and put it all together again without a hitch ;-). They did not tell me I needed any additional new parts nor did they add on any incidental charges. AMAZING! And everyone there was very helpful and attentive. This particular dealership has always gone out of their way to take care of things for me promptly and properly. They even call me to remind me when I have an appointment.

Jose was really friendly and helpful, without applying aggressive pressure like they do at Toyota of Stamford. He was happy to negotiate, throw in a perk or two, and even though they didn't have our model in the lot, they got it for us in about 10 days, despite a tropical storm and power outage in the middle of that window. They all made leasing a new car a really easy, enjoyable, informed process.

After notifying me of the need for my tire to be replaced but that they could not do it at this time due to not having my tire in stock, the service department continued to rotate (and charge me for said rotation) the tires which I will be replacing. Needless to say I will not be purchasing tires from here; nor will I be bringing my vehicle back for any service. Extremely disingenuous.

What you hope for in a service department. To be treated respectfully. No surprises. An estimate prior to service. An invoice that falls within the estimate. Your car repaired satisfactorily. Jim, my service advisor, was a gentleman. The service department is clean, well lit and well organized. I chose Toyota Service in Stamford for my Lexus Hybrid because of other reviews, and as a result of service at Lexus being unsatisfactory. I have no reservations about returning to Toyota for service. A very good experience.

The first time I came in as a walk-in. Although I'd read a lot of information about the Prius and it's rivals on line I needed to see the different models physically. Not only did I get to do that but I went out on a test drive - at this point I had not made any commitment to buying this model. I came back two weeks later this time with an appointment and was able to trade in my car and drive out with a new 2013 car the same afternoon. The Toyota financing rate was a better deal than my credit union's and the service was great. The salesperson even assisted me by showing me certain features of the car and I know that she stayed beyond her regular work day that day to ensure everything was completed.

The best buying experience? The answer is "yes!" I was contacted by the dealership to turn in my 2012 4Runner on a newer model. There was no pressure, just polite inquiry and real work to make this, hands down, the easiest and most pleasant buying experience I've ever had in a car dealership. Work was done quickly but not hastily. I was never forgotten but treated with warmth and respect. And during a process that can be daunting and confusing, they took the time to make sure I understood all that was going on and that I was completely happy with my purchase. The result is that I am very happy with the new truck and delighted with how the experience went. I will buy from these gentlemen again. They were fantastic.

I worked with Jeff Symeon to get my new (to me) 2010 Corolla. I had previously owned a Prius that I purchased from a different Toyota dealership. The Prius was totaled and I needed something quickly. I was wary about buying another car because the poor customer service and aggressive sales techniques from this other dealership drove me away from using them again. I tried Toyota of Greenwich and was amazed at how easy it is to work with a salesman that just wanted to make sure I'm in a situation I'm comfortable with and not push me to do anything I don't want to. Thanks Jeff and Toyota of Greenwich!

Driving not a Toyota but a Volkswagen, I found a place to park which happened to be in front of Greenwich of Toyota. I'm a city slicker, I have no idea how to change a tire. Even though I wasn't driving a Toyota, one of their mechanics came out and offered to swap in my spare! Saved my butt. I thanked and tried to tip him fifty, I could not talk him into accepting it. Buying the VW was a dark moment in my life, and this man's gesture may make me switch teams for that kind of helpfulness. That said, I ought to learn to change my own tires by now... Thanks buddy!

I went to Greenwich Toyota to start the process of buying our new car. I have to say, Greenwich Toyota is by far the best dealership I ve ever walked into. There was no pressure to purchase anything. Alex was our sales person, she listened to what we were looking for, she made a couple of suggestions, she was extremely patient and professional. Terry was our financial manager, and hands down one of the best I've ever encountered. I couldn t have asked for a better overall experience. Alex sold us our 2014 Toyota Highlander Limited. I had been on the hunt for a used truck and they had a "good" deal around a used Tacoma. I was told to come in as soon as they opened on Saturday, which I did. When I arrived Jeff Symeon greeted me. We talked about trading in my truck and then we went off to test drive the truck. Right at the point of discussing pricing, they told me a customer had come in (WHILE I WAS TEST DRIVING THE CAR) and put money down on it. I understand this is a business and money talks, but it should not have eliminated my ability to purchase the car being that I had taken my Saturday morning to discuss the prospect of purchasing. Unfortunately, the sales manager decided that that was HIS best option and chose to lie to me. He explained the customer had come in before I did, which could not have been the case as he said the customer came in at 8:15.....they open their doors at 9am and I was the first to walk through them. We never even got to the negotiation point and they told me to hit the bricks. I am a reasonable honest guy, and this is a dealer that only looks out for themselves - not their customers. The truck did have some body damage which I discovered and was not told about, which is also a big reason I think they chose to not talk to me. So all in all, I felt very uneasy engaging in any sort of business with this dealership. If you are looking for a used car - I would recommend elsewhere as this is how they conduct their business.

The service was great. I didn't feel pressured into anything. Jeff was very friendly, polite, patient, and informative. I got to look at several different types of cars, inside and out. They really worked to keep me within budget. I even got to test drive a couple cars, which helped me determine which car was right for me. They were also really quick/efficient with the paperwork; everything was taken care of in less than two hours. Jeff even went the extra mile and got a little sign saying "Congratulations *my name*", making the experience all the more positive. I feel happy with my purchase and comfortable going back to them for service.

These guys are fantastic. Always helpful and accommodating. I had to reschedule my appointment over half a dozen times and was so embarrassed to do it but all ended up being fine! Their car selection (at least what's on the lot) is pretty extensive and they always have used cars lined up that look glorious.

Their location is pretty easy to find, too!

When living in Greenwich, we had nothing but excellent, responsive service and with such a positive, helpful attitude. We recently moved away to Florida and needed help down here with a matter pertaining to our warranty and other issues. The dealership in Winter Park, Courtesy Toyota was completely unhelpful and intended to charge us large and unnecessary fees. When I called David Sullivan at Toyota of Greenwich, he and Tony Mumtaz jumped right in and helped in every way. They turned a potentially frustrating and unpleasant experience into a very positive one. Everything is resolved and we are very happy with our Prius and working with those two gentlemen!

we have been using this dealer for service for over a decade and have been treated very well- even on a car my son bought elsewhere. We needed a new vehicle- a Highlander Hybrid- which we have learned was in short supply. Len worked with us to get a car that met our specs at a very fair price. The paperwork was not a hassle and Tony helped us with the final details. Len spent over an hour and a half with us explaining all of the new doodads in the top of the line car. That was very impressive.

I took my car to a local gas station for a yearly inspection sticker. They told me that my coolant was leaking and that I would have to have my water pump replaced on my 2008 Highlander. I immediately called Toyota of Greenwich and spoke to Jay to ask how I could verify whether the leak was indeed for real. He explained that I should look for pink liquid under the hood. There was none but the station owner showed me the underbelly of the car where there was some pink liquid. Jay(at Toyota of Greenwich) had recommended that I take the car to the dealership and they would check it out. They did and there was no abnormal leaking- it was a weep hole. There was no charge for this at the dealership and they saved us $600-$700. Thank you, Jay.

Worked with sales specialist Jeff Symeon. He is a very knowledgeable Toyota guy. Knows those vehicles very well. Helped us decide what model car fit our needs --- THE HIGHLANDER. David Sullivan knew I had been thinking about the need to exchange my 6 year old Highlander for new. Last Friday the need to do this became a reality and, without any feeling of pressure, he made it happen between 10 AM and 3 PM. My wife and I have purchased here a number of times before and have been completely satisfied with quality, service and convenience....but I had not done a deal with Dave. He listens, is compassionate and capable, and has high personal standards. I hope we continue as friends. Without going overboard, I would like to recommend: DO A DEAL WITH DAVE!

UPDATE: I received a call from Bill Pfeiffer the following week after posting the review, where he promised to deal with the situation and get back to me, but I have never heard from him since. I think that this was most likely forgotten. Is this the quality you 'take pride' in?

I started looking online and contacted the internet manager, Michael, asking for quotes and stock. Every other person I ve contacted gave me the run around saying I need to come in to get these numbers etc etc but I was sent rough estimates for my trade in and for the monthly immediately. When I got in, I can NOT stress enough how easy it was to talk with Jose and his co workers. Amazing vibes and best experience I ve had at a car dealership. Never felt like I was being pressured at any point. They laid out every number clearly, worked with me in my specific situation and got me out with the car I wanted at a price I was comfortable with. Can not thank them enough for such an easy experience from start to finish.

I was doing an internet search for Toyota 4Runners and saw the truck I was interested in at Greenwich Toyota. On a whim I went there to see the 4Runner with no intention of buying anything. I met Dave when I walked in and he was easy to talk to with no pressure at all. We went to the storage area to retrieve the 4Runner and I drove it back to the dealership. Dave was very knowledgeable about the 4Runner and took his time explaining all of the features and how they worked. We sat down and he gave me a price for it and we negotiated a good deal for the 4Runner and some options. Put a down payment on it and picked it up the next morning! Very pleased with everyone at this dealership from Dave and Anthony to the service and finance manager!

I am so happy to have another new Toyota. This is my 5th! Dave Sullivan has been my sales person for years and I wouldn't change that. He knows his business and pays attention to my every auto need. I moved from a Prius to a Rav 4 for this lease and couldn't be happier!

We just purchased our eighth car from TOG (a 2014 Avalon), and these folks just get better and better to work with. Our salesman, Keith Olsen, is a true pro. Patient, knowledgeable, listens very carefully to his customers' questions and comments, and puts together a great deal on a great product. And he is there to help after the sale when, inevitably, you get a little baffled by all the fabulous new technology Toyota has engineered into their product line. Our experience with the ToG service team over many years could not have been better. Although our cars and SUV's have required very little unscheduled maintenance, their work is always done right, finished as promised, and carefully explained. We will be back.

Excellent sales staff! David and Neel are a pleasure to deal with. I went to test drive a 2018 4Runner without any intention on buying and left with a new car. David took me for a test drive, was knowledgable about the features, and offered me a generous price for my trade-in. AND he had my 4Runner prepped the same day so I could take it home right away.

Neel is a real car guy and his passion shows. He helped me navigate my lease terms and was honest about the things I did and did not need.

I feel good about the deal we made and I LOVE my new 4Runner.

This was the second Toyota we purchased from Greenwich Toyota. Dave Sullivan and Bob Federico were excellent to work with and found us the exact car we wanted. Their customer service can only be called top rate. When we came to pick up the car, Dave spent 30 minutes plus walking us through all the great features to make sure that we were properly set up - even programming our phones for us. We have been loyal customers of this Toyota dealership for many years and are never disappointed.

Keith did a super job of helping us find the model...

Keith did a super job of helping us find the model we wanted and explaining options. And he took plenty of time showing us the way the car and its settings worked - and offered to continue anytime we had more questions.
All we worked with were very friendly and helpful.

Tony was great with the deal itself and also explaining some of the driving tips for best performance.

We were introduced to the Service Department where we were greeted warmly.

All in all, perhaps the best dealership experience we have ever had.

When I drove onto the dealership lot, my intention...

When I drove onto the dealership lot, my intention was to "window shop". I knew that I needed to purchase a car by the year's end. So, I wanted to begin looking in time to determine what I wanted. My Mom has owned her Toyota Corolla since she bought it brand new in 1999. It still runs as though she'd purchased it yesterday. So, needless-to-say, I KNEW that I wanted to buy the same brand. Two hours later, I was driving off the lot in a 2016 Toyota Corolla "S"!

When I've told others about my intentions and the ultimate results, they were shocked. They were further surprised to learn that I was not coerced into making the purchase. My Sales Consultant, Layne Sohun, did not display any of the "stereotypical car salesman" characteristics. He was attentive to my goals; took the time to identify a vehicle that fits my personality; extremely knowledgeable of the product (exterior, interior and engine); worked diligently to stay within my budget; made appropriate suggestions; assisted in the process of switching insurance companies; and even helped to negotiate a lower rate on my insurance. And, I noticed how well he worked with other members of the sales team.

In conclusion, I feel as though I've made the right choice all-around. Those that I've shared this information with personally, have requested his contact information. There are a few people that I know are looking to purchase a vehicle. And, I'm sending them ALL to Toyota of Greenwich! I'm pleased with my experience! And, I love my new car! For someone that has only worked at the dealership for 4 months, he has certainly made a positive impression. Layne represents the dealership well. I will not need a new vehicle for quite sometime. However, I hope that he (or someone like him) will be there when I need to. Thanks again, Layne!

I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here to buy a car and especially do any business with JEFF SYMEON!!! From what I experienced, I could give them only half a star for the customer service only.

I scheduled an appointment for a test drive with Thomas and he took us nicely the whole time. I decided to buy the car, so he showed me to Jeff and that guy was a big rude jerk! Thomas told me before that the car was in an accident recently, but when I asked for the car history, Jeff didn't tell me that until I asked him about the accident. When we got down to negotiate, Jeff was extremely rude to me when I tried to reduce the price since the price he offered along with "the service fees" was clearly overpriced based on the car's conditions and history. When I told him the maximum price I can pay for that car, he said he would go talk to his manager, but I saw him walk out of his office and right back in, he shook my hand, said he couldn't sell it to me and kicked me out. On top of that, he ripped off the paperwork of my information right in front of my face before I even walked out of his office!

If you want to build customer base, treat all of the customers equally in a good manner. It's their loss to lose a customer no matter which vehicle or price he/she pays! Sorry but I'll never come back here again even when I have more than enough money to buy a car like now because I don't want to deal with a bunch of jerks!!!

This was the easiest and most stress free experience leasing/buying a new car I've ever had. I thank Jeff for taking such good care of me, being patient, efficient, cheerful and informative. I walked in late in the afternoon and picked up my new car early the next morning. The car was ready to go and Jeff had all the paperwork completed and off I went. Thank you! It's great to be back in your competent hands.

I wish I could say good. I spent days researching and trying to figure out what dealer and what car would be best for me. Finally after days, I contacted Toyota of Greenwich and surprisingly they matched a price for me and gave me a good offer over the phone! Low and behold, as people warned me, I skipped 2 classes and my father left work early to drive an hour to this dealership to be completely disappointed. We felt so discriminated against. Odd thing is that the sales person was black and her name was Shani. She completely lied to us over the phone and email. When we got there she said oh sorry I didnt realize it takes 2 days to process, so I cant do anything today. You'll have to come back tomorrow. Then she said she would at least do the paperwork with us which we agreed to. However more issues came up. She then made us wait for a long period of time. We can visually see her laughing and cleaning cars and wasting time!! We just sat there so disappointed and we felt completely ignored and hated on. Was it because we are brown? We look religious? Have beards? Whatever it is, I will be making sure this dealer gets reported to HQ! DISGUSTED!

Stopped by in my car-shopping quest. Lovely atmosphere with very personable staff, but prices were higher than elsewhere (to be expected, but still). They were SUPER quick in getting quotes and answering questions, unlike other surrounding Toyota dealerships where it felt like a test of my nerves/attention span just to get answers.

I walked into the Toyota of Greenwich dealership and within a few feet I see a man beaming with a smile to greet me and he says, "I know your name!" At first I thought this was a strange way to start out but I decided to play along. He says, "It's Angie, right?". My mouth dropped open, Angie is my name! I immediately thought to myself that this should be an interesting car buying experience if he has esp! LOL It turned out that there was another woman who was named Angie that we was waiting to greet! What a great coincidence and a VERY good laugh. Chris D. was wonderful. He was straight forward and answered my questions. I have 3 young children and was in a big rush and he got right down to finding me what I wanted, getting real prices, and giving me numbers I could work with. I found him to be fair and a good listener. He made everything extremely easy for us.
Later when I was signing the final papers there was a misunderstanding that occurred with another person in the process. I felt like I was afforded the space to express my perspective. We came to an understanding. There were several other people that were there and caught pieces of the conversation. They approached me after to make sure things worked out okay. I could tell that they REALLY Pride themselves on customer service. I really enjoyed my experience.

If only every dealership could be like this, then buying a car wouldnt have to be so stressful again. The guys at Toyota of Greenwich were wonderful, straight forward, treated us with sincerity and great respect. The cars are very competitively priced. I would highly recommend them.

My old Camry was serviced and maintained over a period of 18 years by Toyota of Greenwich, and, at the end of it's useful life, I decided upon another Camry! (It is actually the same color, too,) Under the guidance of a wonderful salesperson, Bobby C. my decisions were easy to make, as the Toyota representatives laid out choices and asked for my opinions. In less than one day, the vehicle was selected, the plates transferred, insurance taken care of, and the transfer of trunk cargo happened; it could not have been simpler.
Thank you, Toyota, for keeping me on the road and safe all of these years! I am truly grateful to Jay, and to the entire Toyota crew, and feel confident about the coming years under your attention and care with a truly fine automobile.

From the moment I walked into this dealership I felt right at home. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and they weren't aggressive with making a sale. Being a first time car buyer I was definitely nerv...

Being a first time car buyer I was definitely nervous coming into the dealership but all of my anxiety disappeared after talking to Dave. In a word I would say my experience was superb. I got a great deal, an excellent rate and I was in and out within 3 hours. To top it off we came in with our Leo dog and the staff brought him water, played with him and walked him around while we finished the paper work. If you're looking for a great buying experience I would highly recommend you give Dave a call. He made buying my first car fun instead of stressful and I love my little Prius so much already. Below average technician, nice place and service a...

Below average technician, nice place and service advisors. Just make sure you get a second opinion on any out-of-warranty repairs!! They twice forgot to reset service reminder light after oil change (learned to do that myself following Youtube videos :-)). Took my car in for service at 70K miles on Jan 20, the technician wrote down "Upon inspection found water pump leaking, oil pan leaking and leak from timing cover" and recommended $1900 job to replace timing tensioner gasket, water pump, oil pan, timing cover seal. I found it strange since there was no sign of coolant leak, the oil residual started near the top part of the engine (the valve cover), and there was no smell or any oil on the floor of my garage. It turned out to be a simple $100-$200 repair to replace the valve cover gasket (tiny leak, non-urgent fix) after checking with a reputable mechanic (Ralph of Newfield Service) and another dealer. I took the car back to the dealership on Jan 27 (to see the new Camry) and told the service advisor about the issue, but I was dismissed completely and they didn't want to check the car without making another appointment for inspection (all it takes is a few minutes). Now I am getting calls/emails after complaining to Toyota. Was planning to get brake pads replaced at dealer but not any more. Now I have to get the wrong diagnosis removed from my service history to avoid getting my car's trade-in value destroyed or just buy a different brand in the future.

From the initial inquiry to the car delivery- it was a wonderful experience. The car was for my daughter and since she is new to the area- the dealership delivered the car to her and saved her the trouble of arranging a ride to the dealership. Went to Toyota of Greenwich to lease a Highlander Limited for my wife. I met with Jeff Symeon. Jeff knew the product inside and out. He was kind, courtesy, proffesional and personable. Once I was dazzled with Jeff's brilliance, Clint Steen, the General Manager and Owner, stopped by Jeff's desk to assist with the lease payment and breakdown. They both made the process easy and comfortable. You get that warm and fuzzy feeling at this dealership, very different then other stores. Upon picking up the Highlander a few days later, my wife and kids were with me and my wife could not be more impressed. Jeff paired her phone, set our home address in the navigation and went thru every button and switch with on this car. Jeff welcomed any questions she had and made sure she was comfortable with the new car before she left. Jeff was kind enough after his thorough presentation to walk my wife thru the dealership. He introduced her to the service and parts department and even went over with my wife where she should drive in when it is time for service.

It was an extraordinary experience and I wish I could speak to anyone reading this who is considering buying a Toyota. This is the only place to go. In a world that is quickly losing it's personal touch, if you want to be treated like you should and not just another number, this is the place to go. See Jeff Symeon and Clint Steen. You can't go wrong.

Superior Customer Service, superior workmanship. ...

Superior Customer Service, superior workmanship. It begins with the purchase which was a great experience and now 12 years to date our experience with the service department remains exceptional.

My husband and I always look forward to having our toyota serviced. The fact is no one enjoys being without their vehicle but at least when you must have repairs/maintenace rendered the time without the vehicle is diminished because of the individuals who are consistant with their exemplary service.

The day will come again that we will need to purchase a car. There will only be one place for that consideration...Toyota of Greenwich, I hope that Len Cymerman is still available and the service team, Jay OConnell and Bill Wright are major contributors to the success of this dealership.

This is without a doubt the best car dealership I have ever dealt with. This is the second car I have bought from them in the last 8 years and they have been nothing short of perfect. Mike Pfalzgraf and Tony Mumtaz helped get me a vehicle within 3 hours when everyone else said it couldn't be done. They were able to get me a great price at very fair rates. Keith Olsen was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and took the time out to answer any and all questions. I would never ever go anywhere else to purchase a car and plan on sending anyone looking for a car there.

I really liked this Toyota dealership, and working with Galina was nice and easy. She really listened to what I wanted and tried to find a car that matched all of my needs. Unfortunately, I didn't end up with a car from here because Toyota doesn't typically have as good of incentives as other makes, but still a good dealership and we recommend if you're looking for a Toyota.

Its comforting to see the words at the bottom of your service statement: "WE KNOW YOU HAVE A CHOICE" Thank you for choosing us! But guess what? Ill never make the same mistake again. Unfortunately, choosing TOYOTA of GREENWICH was a terrible mistake. Worst Customer Service EVER!!!

I asked to talk to the General Manager, Clint Steen, who was in his office at the moment but they only let me speak to Robert Federico who is the GSM. After explaining my situation to him, he apologized on behalf of the dealer, but simply told me I m sorry Mr Santoro for what happened, but obviously what is done is done, I ll give you my card so you can call me in the future for anything you need . Since they were either unwilling or unable to help me resolve my problem, there will obviously be no future dealing with this terrible dealership. "End of story" Sorry to steal your words "Bill Pfeiffer"
