A decent selection of used cars. The pricing is about right but it's hard to negotiate into a price that is good for both parties. Lots of salesmen to help u decide. A little pushy at the start but leave you alone once you get into a few cars u like.

Work was fine and on time as usual. However your e.mails suggesting I bring my car in were misleading causing me to bring my car in to often. I think the workers were a little confused as well. Ie I just had my Camry in responding to an a-mail with about 17000 miles on it. This will be second time the invoice said next service should be the 20000 checkup. Somebody should have suggested that I could have waited

I was very disappointed with the service department s regard for things I specifically asked them not to do. There were three things they did that I had told them not to do yet they did them anyway. First, I told them not to change the positioning of the front seat. Yet they did, and as a paraplegic, it s very difficult for me to get it back where it belongs. Second, I asked them to put the front passenger seat back in its original place. Again, they did not. This made it very difficult for me to transfer from my wheelchair to the driver s seat. Finally, I told them that under no circumstances were they to deploy the ramp on the passenger side. But they did and it would have hit the car next to it if I had not seen it was too close to the car next to it and screamed at the driver to stop and reverse the ramp. The ramp did hit me and my wheelchair before it went safely back in the van. This was by far the worst experience I ve ever had Toyota of Grand Rapids.

We had an excellent experience working with Toyota. It was my first time purchasing a used vehicle, so I was very nervous and hesitant, but Luis was wonderful to work with. He found me the exact vehicle I wanted with more options than I requested, and never put pressure on me to exceed my budget. In fact, one of the qualities I most appreciated about him was that he understood my budget and worked within it. It definitely helped establish trust, and I didn't have the feeling of "high pressure sales" I have come to expect at car dealerships. I truly enjoyed working with Luis and the entire staff at Toyota. Every person we interacted with was kind and helpful. I feel confident that I made the correct choice in choosing to work with them!

This was my second positive experience purchasing/leasing a vehicle at Toyota of GR. Brian Foster was excellent to work with! I was about 13,000 miles over in my lease and Brian worked with me to get into a new Toyota Rav. I absolutely love the new features of the 2019 Rav. I appreciated that most of the communication was via text, as I am living on the east side of the state and work during the day. It was a smooth process from the beginning. Highly recommend Toyota of GR!

I scheduled an appt to have my oil pan replaced. I indicated I would have to wait for the vehicle.
I waited 1 and 1/2 hours before communicating w/ Bruce to find out how things were going. About 15 mins later he told me they hadn t started because they didn t have an oil pan ordered for this appt.
I was upset & told him that I could not wait 2 more hours or more for them to find one & then install it as I had other appts that day. He apologized & we rescheduled the oil pan replacement on Wed., 5-15-19. He also had indicated that I would get a discount for the undue wait /service issue. I paid $604.41 for this service & I don t think I got much of a break/discount for the inconvenience caused by Toyota s lack of preparedness for repair. That $58 may have paid for my gas for a double commute, but the labor charges were certainly not worth what I paid. I feel disappointed w/Toyota & maybe I should find a closer & more reliable & efficient place to have it repaired & maintained in the future!

Purchased a Prius Prime for my wife June 2018 and a AWD Prius May 2019. The AWD Prius is replacing a Scion I purchased from this dealer back in 2005. The Scion held up great and we are liking the new cars. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and service center is great. I never feel pressured into doing things I'm not interested in here. Wait times in the service center are usually quick. I'm guessing my next new car will be from this dealer as well.

I worked with Tony Willis II and he was AMAZING, he was very kind and knowledgeable of the Toyota brand. I also met the new car sales manager and he was great as well. They both really did a good job especially with this being my first car that I bought. Tony took his time and I didn t feel rushed. The financial manager was awesome because he took his time to explain everything that I needed to know. Would recommend Toyota of Grand Rapids to anyone looking to buy or even lease a vehicle!

Toyota had a recall on their corollas, i waited 2 months for an appointment, take my car there for the replacement airbag to be put in, waited at the dealership to be seen and there is 3 of them just hanging around their computers only one of them was helping a customer so i waited about 10-15 mins before the one worker that was helping a customer turned and said can you help the gentlemen standing at the door hes here to pick up his car. I take my car home and airbag light is on, WAS NEVER ON BEFORE OR ANY ISSUES WITH IT, call Toyota and they say its probably not the airbag and if its not the airbag than it will be coming out of my own pocket! first off why dont you just schedule an appointment and see what it is instead of saying its probably not the airbag cause that right there is a give away already that your going to try and charge me for your worthless work cause my car was perfectly fine before your workers touched it. Airbag light never turned on never had an issue, will not buy, recommend you to anyone, nor will your little service department see any cars we own. Dont recommend this dealership to anyone anymore horrible experience, but i just read some reviews doesnt seem to be the first one for some people

I recently had my 2006 Sienna van in for routine maintenance and was very impressed by the customer service Ben provided in the service department. I was unable to leave my van at the dealer for additional repairs found. Ben quickly offered to find a solution and offered to find a loaner/rental vehicle so I could still get my kids from school/daycare on time and make my other appointments of the day. This was a TRUE life saver as a busy working Mom of 4 kids under 5 years old!! Thank you, Thank you! Ben went above and beyond his job duties making sure my van was safe to drive and kept customers happy.

Joe Booher is a fantastic person who represents Toyota of Grand Rapids excellently! His integrity is beyond reprove. I trusted him from the beginning knowing I would the best deal and he would go to bat for me. I now have the car of my dream! The Toyota Prius 2 Hybrid is so luxurious it feels like I'm floating on clouds when driving. It is so quiet yet peppy when needed. I knew the hybrid was the future but wasn't quite sure I could fit in my budget but the team at Toyota helped me work it out. For that I am very thankful. I would recommend Toyota of Grand Rapids to many of my friends! Excellent job.

Poor service. I came in as a cash customer with a trade. I found the vehicle I wanted and was willing to negotiate. They, however, are not. They wanted to lowball my trade and sell me the truck for 300 dollars over advertised pricing. I left and gave myself a couple of days to clear my head. After writing an email to my salesperson, I am still waiting for a response two days later.

I guess I'll be buying from Fox.

March 2020; Thanks to Aston and Jim in the service department for all your help. My extended warranty denied the initial claim on some issues I was having with my Sienna. They worked directly with the warranty company on my behalf and got all the items covered. The workmanship was excellent and my 5 year old van literally drives like new. Thanks guys! I really appreciate the extra effort.

October 2017; Very Happy with my purchase. Tim Winchel was very patient with all our questions along the way. We even had a few questions after we bought our van and Tim remained super responsive. I am always impressed when someone remains responsive even after my check clears! I highly recommend Tim and Toyota of GR!

About 3 months ago I emailed Toyota Grand Rapids requesting further information on a vehicle they had for sale. I quickly received a response back from their salesperson TEYANA WOODS with the information I requested. Unfortunately the vehicle wasn t right for me so I moved on with my search. The very next day I received a promotional email from Toyota Grand Rapids. I emailed them and TEYANA WOODS back asking to be removed from their email list. I received an email back saying they would oblige, plus I hit the unsubscribe link on the email. Every single day for about a month I received a promotional email from Toyota Grand Rapids salesperson TEYANA WOODS and every day I would hit the unsubscribe link and I would email TEYANA WOODS asking to not be bothered with anymore emails. For 2 months the emails stopped but this morning I was greeted with yet another promotional email from TEYANA WOODS from Toyota Grand Rapids. What do I have to do to get this person and this company to stop emailing me? I haven t been rude or cursed in any of my emails, I simply have asked to be removed from any future emails. Do I have to call the business and scream and holler? Do I have to travel hundreds of miles to Grand Rapids to visit them? It is a simple request that could be rectified within a matter of seconds I presume.

Customer loyalty doesn't matter. I recently went looking for a new vehicle and as always, the sales representatives are very nice and courteous. Their managers not so much. My wife was treated poorly when working on the pricing. She was promised they will drop the price to an specific number but when it was time to work on ordering the vehicle, one of the managers declined the deal in a rude way even making the salesman look bad. This was my family's go to Toyota dealer. My family have bought several cars here since 1995 along with routine maintenance. I'm moving my business somewhere else.

I recently financed a used vehicle from Toyota of Grand Rapids. Every step of the process was simple, easy, and hassle free. Ed and Jason were a tremendous help getting me into my new vehicle. They walked me through every step of the process, let me take the car for a test drive right away, and immediately addressed any questions or concerns I had. They even let me have the car for an extended weekend as a rental until I could get my old paperwork from my last car (license plate transfer). The car I ended up getting had two minor issues that Ed and Jason were able to get repaired before I finished signing the paperwork, making sure the car was in perfect condition before I took ownership. Everything about the car buying process stressed me out, but the team at Toyota of Grand Rapids made it easy and worry-free. Ed even called me a week later to make sure everything was still working and to see if I still loved the car. . . I definitely am! I would highly suggest going there for your next car!

I went to get an oil change on Oct/17/19. My car is toyota hybrid and I assumed Toyota would be the most reliable place to do anything on my car. After the service was done, one of the technicians recommended I should replace an engine air filter so I agreed. After everything was done, I was about to drive out of the Toyota and that's when I saw the red big danger sign on my display which I've never seen before. I brought it back and they told me that I should leave if overnight for their hybrid technician to come in next morning to check. Next day, they called in the afternoon and said my hybrid battery is the problem. They also said they can't order till Monday the next week because they can only place the order by 3PM. However, later they called back saying there's no problem with the battery but it's with the computer system. I requested a quote on 10/19/19 and they sent me a quote of more than $1300 to replace my engine ecm board. I called them back on Monday morning and told them to go ahead and order the ecm board. The next day they called me saying they now did the inspection and there was nothing wrong with the car. They did something wrong while they replaced the engine air filter so after they fixed that, my car was starting fine. I went to Toyota after work and found that the car made a strange loud noise when I turned on the AC. I asked them if it was normal, but they didn't know what to do. They took out the filter and tried to fix it but could not make a difference to the noise much. They again told me to leave the car overnight without providing any shuttle to go back home. The next day they called and said the car should be good to go. I went, started the car and heard a loud repetitive noise and also found that the headlight was on, the whole time. The technician seemed surprised and took the car back. I waited for more than an hour feeling frustrated. This was 6 days after they replaced the oil and filter. They brought the car back finally and said it was good to go. My car runs fine now but their treatment and service were not the best at all. I raised my uncomfortableness of not having my car for almost a week due to their fault. They did not provide any replacement car nor a shuttle to go home during those times. They acknowledged their fault but sounded as I should be glad because there's no problem with my car (battery or the computer). I always thought there was a reason to go to Toyota for a Toyota car, but now I am afraid to go. I lost my trust in letting Toyota of Grand Rapids(28th) handling my car. Hope this won't happen to anyone else.

Let me start off by saying our sales rep PK was great and helpful. The manager Jay Rodenberry was extremely rude to my family. When I tried to step in and ask a question his response was and who are you ... I sold hundreds of cars myself and just had a few questions but the entire time he acted like he could care less about any questions we had and acted too good for anyone. He wouldn t give me a paper with the price of the vehicle either. Every they go in it s a different price. Don t worry we will take our 30k and take it elsewhere. I will also be informing my family who just bought three 2018 Toyota Avalon hybrids to not return to your dealership for their next car as well.

I had a poor post-sale experience with Toyota of Grand Rapids. I had a reoccurring problem with my driver's door. A door weld went bad after the first year or two and they repaired it. Later a recall was issued for this same problem. They had fixed it prior to the official 'fix' from Toyota so it eventually failed again and had to be repaired. When it then failed a third time after the extended warranty ran out, I was left high and dry. I was told the whole door would need to be replaced at my cost of over $2000. After much discussion, they finally offered the part but then I would pay the labor of $500. There were several other minor problems with the car and it was time to sell. Toyota of GR offered me $2400 due to the door and other problems. I got $8000 from Chrysler with the disclosed problems and am very happy with the Town and Country I purchased. ~ Jane Ashby

The only complaint I have is the process took a little longer than I was hoping for but everyone was kind and courteous. The car was clean and well taken care of by the dealership and they filled the gas up for me before I left. I was very impressed by the service!

Absolutely love this dealership and only have one negative thing to say about my most recent visit to their service department. I recently had my truck serviced there having an oil change and a tire rotation conducted, normally I would just do these things myself but want the service records on the truck in the event something screwy happens or I want to trade it in at a later date. Now normally, an oil change and a tire rotation shouldn t take very long, hence why I waited in their waiting room, but my wife and I ended up waiting over an hour and a half for my truck to be done. Their explanation was that they couldn t find my spline socket to take my lugs off to do the rotation. Now yes, I should have given them the socket or made it clearly visible in the cab when they took it back into the shop, I forgot but they didn t ask where it was either when it came time for them to do it. Oh and to mention yes I did have an appointment and I also seen them park my truck in the back parking lot while my wife Looked through their inventory, meaning they drove it straight through the shop and into the back. Not impressed!

They did a $6000 repair to my car and left a plug off. As a result, all of the transmission fluid leaked out between the time they finished and I made it back home to Battle Creek. Luckily I already take my car to an amazing dealership in Battle Creek and they were able to arrange to get it fixed correctly. A job that was supposed to take 2-3 days for parts and 1-2 days for the install is now going on 15 days because of their mistake. When I called and left a message with the service manager voicing my displeasure, all I got was sorry for your headache, but mistakes happen. That was it! Nothing about offering to help with the inconvenience of not having my car for over 2 weeks or simply asking what he could do to help. Horrible service!

Emmy Granderson was excellent to work with!! We drove close to 2 hrs to get to the dealership because we loved how she treated us while we were searching for a new vehicle. Emmy was honest and worked hard to get us into the vehicle that we wanted to purchase. I've been very satisfied with both the car and the service.
Ben Dekruyter has been outstanding in the service dept. for his promptness, courtesy, helpfulness, and fairness.
The facilities for waiting customers are first-rate.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy another car there.

Took my vehicle in for the Takata recall, it was done quickly and effeciently but the vehicle returned with a large grease hand print above the door and greasy finger prints on the dash. With my paint color being "Super White" and my interior being a light gray, these were very obvious. As a technician myself I know these can be easily prevented by gloves/washing hands. I would use them again if I need recall work completed.

Thought we found a good deal on a quality car from a quality brand name dealership. Spent savings. Paid $12k for it. Slick sales people, and manager, slick service department, slick finance department. We believed them. They failed to disclose problems with the car. Bought it Friday, problems by Saturday, brought it in Tuesday, their shop discovered $1,1200+ worth of work. They would not make it right stuck to bought it as is stance. Very inflexible to the point of being rude and condescending.

Every time I go in there is always great customer service and quality work. Mr. Vern, the service writer is a key asset that I would recommend everyone to try and go thru. He is one knowledgeable on the vehicles and always ensures to go above and beyond to ensure everything taken care of.

Facility is nice, and the Toyota of Grand Rapids always honors my extended service plan that was purchased through a different dealer in California as well.

I worked with Nick Snyder at Toyota of Grand Rapids to purchase a used 2008 Acura TL. I live out of state and Nick's assistance in making this purchase was extremely helpful. I caught an early morning flight and landed at Gerald R Ford airport around noon. Nick was kinda enough to pick me up at the airport and the entire process of purchasing the vehicle took just a few hours. The process was easy and the vehicle was in great condition for a 2008 and was exactly as advertised.

After visiting several dealerships and driving many small SUVs and mid-size sedans. I chose a new 2016 Camry. My salesperson, Paul Gruber, was informative, helpful, and respectful of my need to find the right car for me. Everyone I encountered during my experience with Toyota of Grand Rapids was friendly and accommodating. Paul showed me the parts and service departments and introduced me to the people who will be taking care of my car and me. The customer lounge is awesome but I don't expect to be spending much time there if my first Toyota lives up to its reputation. Thank you Paul and the Toyota Grand Rapids team.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the guys...

I can't say enough wonderful things about the guys at Toyota Grand Rapids. I have a 20 yrs old 4Runner that I love. I trust the guys to help me keep it running without pushing unnecessary or impractical repairs. Yesterday Bruce was patient and helped me prioritize my list of repairs. I've been working less since the pandemic and was truly grateful for his time and expertise. I would never take my truck anywhere else.
