Visiting for the Ski season and joined the Rec Center for the Month... I am so impressed with the variety of activities.. The Staff is Top Notch!!! Thank You Town Of Avon!!!!

Warm recreational pool with lazy river, slide, water climb, small kid area, lap pool and hot tub. Nice locker room, towels available to rent. The gym was well equipped and in good condition. This is an excellent choice when ski conditions are unfavorable.

Great workout facility in Avon. Spacious, clean, plenty of workout equipment including pool and sauna.

There s nothing ever available and it s crowded. They recently did a remodel and moved the weight room to a bigger area but they didn t add more equipment so it really didn t solve anything when it comes to availability. What they should ve done was keep the old weight room and add another one.

I go to the gym level and they have done a lot of improvements (some new machines) the employees are friendly and the place is clean same as pools i like going here aand they have aforable prices im happy to go every day to workout in here

Amazing rec center. Lots of weights, machines, treadmills, rowing machines, stair steppers... plus a full lap pool and indoor rec pool for kids, complete with a water slide. Hot tub is great too! $56 per month for locals, must prove with forms of ID... but definitely recommended if you re staying for the weekend and need a place to get your pump on.

Excellent for sports there is everything, gym, jacuzzi hot baths, pool etc ...

Slid was slow had to scoot down got yelled at for stopping in the slid and got harassed for about 5 minutes told the lifeguard to check the security cameras and that s when he hesitated. Jumped in the pool at the same time as my friend apparently this was a very stupid idea because we could have died me and my friend got yelled at for about 8 minutes and then had to sit out instead of doing that we told the lifeguard we were leaving, at this time he hesitates and says no you guys can get in the pool again 1 star because we were harassed and lectured because we didn t know the rules

Some of the machines are a little old but it does not feel crowded

To exercise swim, sauna, steen room, aerobis yoga all excellent

Unfortunately they give a great deal on memberships to these so called locals.... But what kind of price would a Native of Colorado get...!

Update-Not only do they give horrible prices to natives of Colorado this place also employs racist Mexicans that do not understand English. Save yourself a headache and just go to the WestIn!

Good kids pool with a separate lap pool, diving pool, and hot tub.

As well-appointed and laid out as the best private gyms. Plus exceptionally conscientious over Covid and general health practices.

One of the nicer slides I have seen in a rec center, and the hot tub had strong jets. Affordable for the area too.

Wonderful facility, I live in Evergreen but every time I come up this way I stop in for a swim.

Great place for kids, the pools (yes plural) is a weekly stop for us with our 3 year old son. They also have a full fitness center and classes.

The staff here are great very focused on being respectful and looking to improve the location for the guest and members.

This is a fun family pool. Kept our beginner and more advanced swimmers happy. The small child pool is the perfect size for 2-5 yr olds. The diving board area is a little small and got crowded, but still was fun. The locker rooms were relatively clean. A good indoor spot if you are in Avon on a rainy day!

Great place for adults and kids. Pool with Lazy River, water slides, kids climbing wall, machines and weights, all sorts of classes offered, plus tennis and pickleball. Something for everyone!

Local gym membership at 50$ for 30 days. Love the pool zone for laps and lazy river floating.

Great pool, waterslide and diving for the kids after a day of skiing.

Love this pool for a non ski day. And you cannot beat the price!

Used pool and enjoyed our time. Pool was too warm to be comfortable for long periods. Also lifeguards were generally helpful but ignored a large group of teenagers roughhousing in kids area.

Full featured rec center with awesome staff and features! Huge slide into lazy river is awesome. Steam room, sauna, diving board, weigh room, amazing trainers and classes. We love this place!

ENFORCE THE RULES!!!! Their own signs clearly say "NO STREET CLOTHES" in English and Spanish, yet there were Mexican families every night wearing street clothes (shorts, black bras, regular t-shirts). Gross! They need to enforce their own rules. There are some very low class people at this place. The waterslide, lazy river, pool rock climbing wall, and pools were very fun though!

This place is so awesome! My apartment complex gave my roommates and I free day passes so we went and checked it out.. totally the best rec. center I have been to! Lazy river diving board they have a aqua climb wall some basket ball hoops and killer hot tub with amazing jets a freaking water slide and can t forget the sauna and steam room.. after you are done they have plenty of showers in the locker rooms.. they even have little machines to dry out your swim trunks with haha

Gym gets insanely crowded during the winter and they have made no strides to expand the actual workout area while keeping their ridiculously high rates. They told me they dont offer discounts to Vail employees, even though Avon and therefore the gym wouldn't be here without the resort. You can't park there during the middle of the day on a weekend because all the skiers are allowed to park at the gym, even though we the members pay a stupid high monly rate to workout here. I genuinely hope a private gym comes through town and builds something that reduces the revenue generated by this overpriced, complacent, misused establishment.

Recently moved here full time. Opening hours are extremely inconvenient and make the membership completely not worth it for local 8-5 professionals. Treadmills are regularly out of service.

Awesome pool for kids. Including a 1ft deep lazy River for toodlers.

Today was the first time I went to the Avon Rec Center. IDK about how busy it gets during peak hours, but from 3 to 5pm today the place was pretty dead. The weight and fitness equipment seems fairly new and the amount of different exercises you can do with these machines is staggering. For the Vail Valley at least, the price of this gym is unbeatable.

It was a lot of fun for my 3 and 8 year old grandsons. The rail swing was very exciting.

Spectacular pools! Nice and warm water, perfect for my nine month old. So much to do, water slides, rock climbing wall, lazy river. Will definitely be back many more times!!

It's really all I need. They've done a nice job expanding and using the space the have. Pre-Covid... They are busy with a good number of weights, benches and cardio equipment. It's clean and the staff is fantastic. During the reopening due to Covid-19, they've worked hard to make sure they're in compliance with social distancing protocols... And again, clean. Got nothing bad to say at all. I probably only use about half of the amenities that's offered.

Great place and very friendly staff! We love the lazy river and the basketball hoop in the pool. When we come back to Colorado, we'll be coming back for sure!

Awesome gym. Got my phone stolen though, but it was a cheap prepaid and was actually glad to get rid of it. The pool is awesome and very warm . The big slide is fun also i would recommend going down it at least a 100 times HA HA. friendly staff who are always saying nice and encouraging things. You can LEASE a locker for a month at only $18 for the large and keep your gym stuff there. well worth it for someone like me. they open early and close late which makes them readily available. near nottingham park, library and the bus line. Great people. Great location!

Wonderful facility. Large pools, and a variety of pool experiences.

It s a little intimidating to go to a new gym when you don t know anyone. From the minute I walked in until the minute I left I felt welcomed. Nick was incredible and was very helpful, kind and informative. He made me feel comfortable and was patient explaining everything from the pool, weight room, classes, to drop in soccer for adults. I ended up getting a 10 punch pass since it was such a great experience.

They are doing an excellent job of cleaning in between designated workouts.

Great gym and pool for the kiddos! Nice facility with clean high quality locker rooms. Nice service! 3 lifeguards and the lazy river is a lifesaver on a rainy day with the kids. Nice gym with plenty of cardio equipment. Essentially one set of free weights but plenty of benches and the crowds aren t too bad.

My kids love swimming in the pool here (slide, lazy river, diving board, and lap pool) and the workout facility is very nice too.

Coming from a small town, this small town rec center sets a new standard for activities and availability of classes for families and rehab training. The facility is clean, warm, has family changing rooms, rock walls in and out of the pool... All sorts of options for fun. I am here for physical therapy and strengthening, and the pools are not too crowded to do the exercises. I am very impressed and pleased with the experience. Wish I had something like this to go home to.

Always a great place to hang out and swim with the kids. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
