Town Of Avon-Recreation Center Review

Great place! Very nice work out room. They have a small climbing area, yoga studio, swimming pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, and even a very fun slide :)

Love the new rec center and all the additions of the machines

I like this gym but this is the only gym in the valley that closes early. Most gyms are open till 10 at night which allows you to make it to the gym if you have to work. I d like to see y all start staying open till Ecliest 9 on weekends. Especially when your charging like $70 a month you should be staying open later. Just saying I ve had two other gym memberships before this one in Edwards and one in east vail and they all stayed open till 10 every day.

Like this pool. This is about the only place in avon Colorado that has a slide and a lazy river

Needs a baby sitter area ...hard to work out while husbands at work got a pass and never use it cause i always have my daughter

Honestly one of the worst fitness centers I've seen. Facility is good but free weights were awful I think my highschool gym had twice as much stuff. They're missing key equipment such as lat pull down, not enough weights or benchs, I had to wait over a half hour to use a bench. Some of the rudest patrons with no gym etiquette, blaring music on their phones using several (of the very limited machines) at once. Tread mills and cardio equipment was OK.

Great staff. Facility is nice, but weight area is consistently overcrowded, even during less popular hours.

Indoor water park is awesome in the winter to blast away Sesonal Attitute Disorder.

Great place to take all of my kiddos ranging from 5 months all the way up to 11 years!

What a spectacular facility!! Great swimming pool for both kids and adults, excellent gym equipment and plenty of classes, including water aerobics. Today I took a fitness class from Karla that is without a doubt the best class I have ever taken, and I have taken many. There is even a physical therapy facility on the premises.

It is a perfect place to exercise and also to have a good time with the family in the pool

This place sucks the staff have attitude and they wont treat you good.
they just want your money. I was a member here and believe me when i say it not worth it, this place is Disgusting i will never come back here ever again, there is more gym way better for better prices around.!!

We love this rec center! I take my teenage boy, my young niece and nephews to the pool ever chance we get. The staff is nice and mostly on top of the crazy kids in the pool area. They do, unfortunately, let people in the pool in street clothes. The lockers are a bit hard to figure out and you should take a lock.

Amazing rec center. Awesome pool. The kids loved it. A little more expensive than your average rec center, but remember, this is in Avon, and it's super nice.

Time to update the workout gear ..weights and treadmills. Place could use a refresh including men's lockers.

Best place to get a membership for not only the gym but also for the steam room and sauna.

I've been coming to this rec center since I was a little kid, I always enjoy it. Now that I have two kids they also love it! Great prices and clean facilities, always great to visit this place.

Love this place! The Avon Colorado Rec Center is a clean and modern facility. A visit will cap off any Colorado Ski Vacation.
Avon Colorado is a wonderful place. The home of Beaver Creek the town go's out of its way for visitors.

One of the best rec centers you'll find. Inexpensive for locals and for visitors alike. A great place to spend time with family, especially on a rainy or cold day. Renovations and additions are underway, which will address some of the issues of weight room/cardio equipment within a month. Without the renovations, this area is pretty good, so I'm looking forward to seeing the further improvements.

The pool is great - both a nice lap pool, a warm shallow pool for kids, and a water slide with lazy river. I have happy memories of coming here as a kid more than 20 years ago, and now that I have a young daughter, I see how much she enjoys playing in the pool area too.

Good value, a bit too busy and a severe lack of treadmills!
