I called to get pricing on (2) sheets of acrylic. Yes, a small order but the least they could have done was let me know that they don't really handle orders that small. I first emailed the general sales account and never received a response. I then called and spoke with the first gentleman and requested the pricing over the phone. He said he would send it over in the next day or so via email. After a couple days I called back to follow up and was told that he was out of the office. I then asked for help from the 2nd gentleman who answered the phone. He asked that I email him the request and I did so asking for confirmation of receipt. He replied that he had received the email. I asked if he could reply with pricing and availability in the next day or so and he said that he would try. I have still not received a response. This was about 2 weeks ago. I am in business and understand that every request does not warrant a lighting fast response but have learned that communication is the most important factor in B2B relationships. A simple note that they were very busy and would get back to me at a later date or that they were not interested in the business would have sufficed. To ignore a request for pricing is just rude and inconsiderate.
