Great old Western style stop in the mountains. Lots of history and good eats.

Really nice little town along the Apache Trail. Cool gift shop and an ice-cream / small grocery store. Had Prickly Pear Gelato. Even a creek that crosses the road. Very old west feel.

Good drink prices, food was great tasting, waitress was very friendly and extremely helpful, great service

It was too crowded for a little tourist trap, we didn't want to wait for a table so no idea how the food is. There are dollar bills that tourists write notes on that cover every surface like wallpaper. The saddle seats at the bar a neat but there are a very limited number of them.

Sweet spot to check out. Nice bar restaurant, live music, reenactment and some history. Service was great and ambiance of the restaurant is perfectly AZ desert wild.

Tourist trap, biker stop. The road to Tortilla Flat was more interesting than the destination.

Not a whole lot to do here but a great place to get out of town and see. The drive up is beautiful and the roads are curvy if you have a sports car or motorcycle it gets fun. The food here is really good though so make sure to stop and grab a bite. I love when the water is flowing over the road from the creek. Makes for some great photos and the kids love it too.

Good food for a tourist trap. Pricey and hate the set up where you are seated with strangers. Great views.

I really liked the small outdoor grill and seating area. Nothing fancy, but just clean fun. They have bands that interact with the crowd and a small dance area.

Nice little stop along the Apache Trail... The day we stopped by there was a very bad sewer smell from an open septic tank nearby... Hopefully it was taken care of... The wildflowers on the side of the road are beautiful...

Road is under construction and barely suited for a motorcycle.

Love the beauty of the drive there and back. The band at the outside patio is great and the food is good. Ladies, the photo ops in the washroom is a hoot!

Always a fun place to go for an afternoon if you are bored. Otherwise scenic but pretty boring place, honestly..... The view of the lake driving in is more entertaining and worth checking out instead of $1 bills stapled to the wall. Tackily, may I add....

Great place. Gets bigger every time. Ha ha. They definately have great burgers. Also have a great selection of beers. Not so much for vegetarians. The cache is amazing. A must go to. We had a great time so will you.

Awesome!! It was packed the eve before New Year's Eve... but the service was GREAT! My wife and I will definitely make a return trip!

Fun place. Band, food and drinks. Nice scenic drive to get there. It is seasonal for the outdoor seating. I'm pretty sure the restaurant is open year round. There's a small museum and I do mean small. There's also a store where you can purchase souvenirs

Great fun! Super music on the patio... menu is limited but delicious and generous... pretty busy place. Wonderful history in the small school house and beautiful scenery!

You have got to try their pork shanks with prickly pear bbq sauce, absolutely one of the best meats I have ever eaten. I would drive 60 miles a week to get them.

I take visitors here because it's an interesting place and I like the drive to show the desert and our lakes close to Phoenix.

Great food, awesome service, and fun atmosphere. Even at noon on Sat. only about a 30 minute wait, but lots to look at during that time, so not a problem. We will be back!!

AWESOME!!!! A family friendly, fun little place that serves some delicious food and drink and even better atmosphere and service. There's plenty of Free Parking and cash and cards alike are accepted. While it is remote, it is well worth the drive. There is Wheelchair accesabilty and designated parking. Be sure to bring $1 to become a part of the history! Have fun!

Nice drive..working on road.repaving. so had time to look at beautiful views..ate at tortilla flats..went very good.

We ate at the restaurant. It was tasty, kid friendly and so much fun stuff to look at.

This is a beautiful drive out to Canyon Lake then on to the small town of Tortilla Flat. Plan lake time or a hike. Tour the lake ( check out the website for days/times/reservations) on the boat. Eat at the restaurant at Tortilla and get some delicious ice cream for dessert. The gift shop has some cool items including unique books. There are some nice photo ops as well.

A...mazing drive there and back! Loved the place but I wouldn't want to drive it at night!
