Caught them on a busy day, so wait was 35 min. However, the staff was super friendly, our server Drew was very good and kept our beverages full while we waited for our meal. We had Taco Salad and tacos and both were very good.

While it's main source of income is tourism, it hasn't lost it's old west feel.

Take your time getting here, as the road is narrow, windy, and one way only at a few bridge crossings.

If you come, plan to stay a few hours, get some grub, and explore. Then venture up the road to the Apache Trail overlook. You've come this far, you won't want to waste the drive without seeing everything.

If you haven't heard, this is the place to go. You can't get to Roosevelt from here, but once you get to tortilla flat you won't care. Fun, music, and very simple food. A member of the tortilla flat band played with dr. Hook.

I love taking a Sunday drive up here. I can't say how the other stores are but the people working at the ice cream shop are very unfriendly. They don't give samples. BTW, don't get the prickly pear ice cream. It's nasty.
