Best food in Owatonna. Friendly staff and great service. Feels like you are at cheers. Even if you are not from Owatanna makes you feel like home..

Stopped in a for a quick supper. The NY strip was perfectly cooked and very tasty. I'd stop again if travelling through Owatonna.

Torey's always provides an excellent meal. The tap beer list offers a good variety of choices. There are great specials like Reuben tots. The staff offers excellent service.

My wife and I had a late lunch onValentines Day, 2020.Found a wonderful menu with many choices. The staff was wonderful and our lunch was Great! Will definitely be making this stop for lunch again!

First experience was bad, waiter forgot silverware, served soup with dinner....but the food was decent...ill give it a second chance.

From the service to the food to the drinks, I cannot rave enough about how amazing everything was. I'm from Rochester MN, and not one place in Rochester is as good as this place. I can't wait to come back!!!!

Poor manners and very disrespectful , food was moderate at best. The owner Torey made some racist remarks and was very argumentative and aggressive when I attempted to speak to him about my concerns. He didn t seem to care, this man clearly has some anger issues based on the way he responded to customer concerns and even attempted to physically shove several guests, kids and women included to make his point that he runs the show there at all costs and even at the expense of his paying guest satisfaction.. Go elsewhere if you want to support a family business with values and integrity

Good cocktails, food is hit or miss unfortunately. Avoid pasta dishes. Atmosphere interesting and mkdern, but crowded and cold due to the lack of air lock on their entrance. Wedding venue on 2nd level is lovely and the food for the wedding we attended was quite good.

I had the Napoleon Top sirloin and Bob had the brisket and they were both excellent. Good looking waitress also.

My family came to Owatonna for the day from Rochester just to hang out and have some fun. We ended up going to Torey's for lunch/dinner and was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere and menu selection. We ordered an appetizer, soup, and two different types of entrees. The boneless hot wings were tasty with a good portion size for the price. The French Onion soup was a little salty for our taste, but the flavor was great. Three of us got hamburgers with baked potato. The hamburger was flame grilled and was absolutely delicious. The potato was cooked perfectly. We also ordered a 1/2 serving of the Cajun chicken pasta. The 1/2 portion was plenty for one person and very reasonably priced and was wonderful. While we didn't order from the alcohol menu, the selection was huge. Next time we will be giving that a try. We will definitely be going back to Torey's the next time we come into town.

I thought it was The Dog Pound, at any rate this is a great bar with nice staff and patrons, made us out of towners feel right at home!

Great food and super friendly service. We had our groom's dinner in the upstairs banquet room and Torey even came up to bartend and check in on us. It was a delightful evening with drink, amazing food and delicious desert. Couldn't have picked a better place other than here.

I've been here several times, and after my last experience I think I'm done for a while. One trip I discovered brunch is no good, so I went back again for something other than brunch then I discovered the appetizers are no good, clearly the entree is where they excel, but I waited for a very long time for my food, people that were seated several minutes after me were eating dessert before I got my food, and when I did get my food half the plate was cold. My waitress was over talking to her friends that were sitting by the bar, frustrating.

It is one of the better places in town for lunch during the work week. They have a fairly good selection of sandwiches, and their soups are great! Service needs to see much improvement. There have been multiple occasions that I have had to WALK UP to a waiter after being seated to ask for service. There also seems to be quite a delay with alcoholic beverages, and typically the food arrives first. I would NOT recommend for dinner. Unfortunately this place pretty much has the monopoly on "special" occasions or date nights in town, as there aren't many options; but each time we go there, we are left wondering why we did again. Dinner is very lack-luster, short menu, and overpriced for quality.

I know it was extremely busy tonight,
But the waitress we got gets 2 stars for the one pop in the 1 and 30 mins we were there. Despite this we will get them another try.

Beautiful surroundings. Good service. Food pretty good. Prices not bad.

We had reservations for our visit, arrived to see the restaurant wasn t busy. Our server seemed to be new or having a bad day. We waited for our drinks after placing our order for over 10 minutes. She left the drinks on our table to attend to other patrons; she eventually took our food order. The food was good, nothing to write home about. We waited for our bill and in fact went to give money to the hostess as our server was nowhere to be seen. She appeared magically at the hostess area where we paid her and left.

So good! Their club house is the best sandwich around!

We love to eat at local places when traveling. We googled "best burger" near us, and Torey's popped up. Amazing food. Friendly prompt service. We took a piece of turtle cheesecake to go and to share, and after one bite in the restaurant, we knew we had to take a second piece home. So glad we found this place!

The worst service I ve ever had at a upscale restaurant (this appears to be about the nicest restaurant in this town).
The teenage hostess is rude, had no idea when or if a table would be available. We were told 15 min, then when we came back she said I have no idea what is going on . A gentleman who had reservations was told he had to wait 20 min even with a reservation. So we left, and I called to try to make a reservation for later in the evening since the hostess was so clueless. Of course she answers the phone and is just as rude as she was in person. When I asked to speak to the restaurant manager she put me on hold, then told me she wasn t available because she was in the middle of dinner ...at 6:00 when your restaurant is packed, you re eating dinner?? I m not sure how things are done in this quaint little town but typically the nicer the restaurant, the better the service. Not the case here. I would spend some serious time teaching your staff how to be respectful and value customers, and hire someone with a little more class to be your first impression.

***Changing my rating because the management does seem to care. Still have yet to eat here, hopefully we will be back some day to experience what they are known for. And I would love to reach out to you directly on the phone, but my previous attempt with Olivia did not allow me to speak to management.

We had a delightful Easter brunch with family. Food and service was excellent!

Got the burger with mushrooms and sauteed onions. Excellent. Recommend the hop lift beer.

Came for lunch after reading the reviews. The servers were very kind and welcoming. The interior is very traditionally decorated with a lot of dark wood and deep red colored seat cushions.

The food took maybe a little bit longer than anticipated however we were a larger group (about six people). We came in on a weekday during lunch and there was another group dressed in suits working at a table near us. I ordered the Turkey club which was VERY generous and instead of the fries, I got Cream of Chicken soup. The soup was good and my coworkers fries looked good too, I like the 'steak' style fries.

On my way to the restroom I noticed they have a hot buffet too for lunch! It looked like a solid buffet for a good price, I believe it was under $10. I would come back for some good, hot, American food. Thank you for providing us a good lunch.

Went for a birthday dinner. The birthday dinner was walleye. Delicious! The new building is very well done. Looks great. I suggest a reservation.

First time at their new location in downtown Owatonna. Had a great meal, the Napoleon with salmon with wonderful service. Definitely will be going back.

We was a group of people from nebraska. The staff was amazing and so was the food.

Waited for 35 min. Wait staff and hostesses walked by us not one person asked us if anyone stopped by. We left. 2nd time had horrible service . Food is great that's why we came back even that the service was bad. We will not come back again.

This restaurant was a treat, with nice choices on the menu, nice decor and great service. The French Onion soup has an unusual slightly sweet flavor, done very well. Torey's feels classy and has the menu and skills to match.

Easter Brunch was fantastic. The fish was superb, and the desserts were to die for.

Food was delicious. The service was very friendly. When I lost my receipt and needed a copy for an expense report, they went out of their way to help me. Fantastic experience!

I can still remember when my sister inlaw booked this place for her wedding reception and how excited she was and WOW, what a disappointment to see her night end with tears in her eyes due to the treatment her family endured. From small things in the beginning (buying my daughter a soda to have it taken from our table when it was more then half full because she went to the bathroom, roasted carrots that were hard) to complete customer disrespect at the end of the evening. I have never seen a restaurant owner act like such a bully but from reading previous reviews this seems to be quite normal at this establishment... I feel sorry for the employees that work under this man but obviously that morale has trickled down because the little kids kept getting yelled at for running. I only wish we knew this a year ago. If you plan on having a wedding reception that involves kids, merging families drinking and dancing like fools or, yes I will say it, hispanic music do NOT go here because they (literally) will throw you out. If you want to try the restaurant go for it but do not let this man ruin one of the most special days in your whole life.

Torey's is an excellent alternative to the manufactured corporate experience you get from Applebee's. Want a great grill and bar with fantastic food they actually cook and don't reheat? Go to Torey's.

Torey's has a great atmosphere with a variety of dining options, they're super friendly, and you can really tell they want you to be happy with your meal so you can become a life long customer.

Torey's has some of the best food in town and their burgers are perfection, cooked to order on great bread with the toppings you want.

The only thing that keeps me from eating at Torey's more often is the price. Some of the meals there can be on the spendy side but you definitely get what you're paying for. Their lunch menu is reasonable so I'd suggest starting there.
