First off I want to state that it takes a lot for me to write a review. From top to bottom this is the best brewery in the greater Denver area. We had the opportunity to meet the Head brewer Jim McMan and he gave us a tour through the brewery and he is a great guy. After the tour we sampled every beer on tap and each was better than the next. I m a home brewer and self described beer snob and this is one brewery you don t want to miss. I can t recommend this brewery enough. Thanks for making our visit such a great experience!

When I got the check , I almost fell out of my chair. A 12 oz glass of beer is $10. I will not be back. Tommyknocker is good beer but it is not made out of gold as Tommyknocker thinks it is. The food was delicious and only slightly overpriced.

Great microbrewery with several crafted brews. My favorite is the Maple nut brown ale. The food is also delicious. We always get either an elk or buffalo burger when eating here. The decor in the dining room is quite attractive with several wall murals depecting characters performing hand mining operations of days gone by. He

The server didn't bother to write down my order, and then brought out my food with the wrong bun. Then did the old switch the bun in the back trick. I know lamb is not cheap but that's such a gross way of doing business when someone has an allergy. I'm most disappointed because that lovely lamb burger was no good and went right through my husband and I. Very disappointed and grossed out. Stick to beer.

The food was so bad I would rather have eaten at 7-11. The beer is good and the atmosphere is fun. I guess it s an alright place to get dinner on your way down the mountain. But do yourself a favor and just get a beer.

Loved it. Stopped on our run back from denver airport back to Breck, in Idaho Springs. Sat on the brewery side, hung with knowledgeable bartender. Loved the peachwood brews. The duck wings were awesome the jalapeno poppers were better.

We came for the beer, but we were BLOWN AWAY by the high quality of the food!! Combine fantastic food with the award-winning craft brews, and you've got a recipe for great success! I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes food and/or good beer :-)

I'm disabled & I have an Emotional Support Animal, and Beaujos down the street denied us entry. She's a 30lb lap dog, and you guys have always respected that and allowed us entry. When we stop by I always wear a kilt. Tommyknocker Brewery rocks!!

Great place for lunch and/or dinner
Bar type atmosphere with their own brewery. Four dining rooms. They make their own ales, root beer and strawberry creme sodas. Fascinating place! I had the French Dip sandwich and cole slaw(they make their own) and my boyfriend had their speciality, the house fish and chips. His daughter had their Southwestern pulled BBQ pork sandwich. Everything came out hot and right. Server was very pleasant and very busy. A must visit for anyone!

Green chili review. Very flavorful and consistent. Had a little kick but not so much that you couldn t eat bite after bite. One of my favorites. I recommend the green chili here. You are welcome.

Busy and they still took good care of us. The rootbeer they make is awesome, as was the Mac and cheese. My wife had the cheeseburger and fries and said the burger was pretty standard, but the French fries were really good. Kind of pricy for 2 people ($40 bill) but overall was good.

We made a reservation but when we arrived, we had to wait 20 minutes. Manager happened to walk by and cussed in front of my child. When I asked to speak to him, he came out of the kitchen yelling, wouldn't let me talk and yelled "I'm sorry!!" And walked away. Not even close to being heartfelt! I understand running a restaurant can be tough and stressful, but this was crazy disrespectful.

Thadeus was the best food server I've experienced in years!!! So nice to have my needs anticipated. Super attentive! Didn't have to ask for a single thing throughout entire meal!!! Fabulous! When our food was ready, it was brought promptly, and every dish swiftly cleared without interruption, and without rush or haste. What a pleasure to be served by Thadeus. I'm in the service industry and I find it extremely challenging to eat out because at times the food in a restaurant can be lovely but the service leaves much to be desired. Not this time. Great food. Lovely flavors, and descent portions too. Definitely a 5star+ performance by our food server Thadeus throughout every phase in our dining experience. - Thank you!

Wife's burger would have made a better hockey pick than a meal. I had soup and salad. The salad was decent but my chili was chili at best. I am guessing they take it out and nuke it. We wanted an alternative to beau Jo's pizza as it is so expensive but we will have to keep looking.

Food was good. Service could have been better. Our waitress took forever to introduce herself and didn't even bother to ask if we wanted anything to drink just of we were ready to order. She was quick to drop off the check, and then wanted to take the credit card slip right away. She acted like seeing her tip was the most important thing. I have eaten here before with great service so I don't think it's an establishment that creates that culture, but just a poor waitress.

Stopped here after visiting Mt Evans. Perfect spot for dinner. The Ultimate Grilled cheese with tomato artichoke soup was amazing. So was the Western Buffalo burger. Candice did a great job of recommending the buffalo as I almost went with the beef. We don't live in Colorado but we will be back!

Beer is ok. The waiter was unaware of how nitro beers travel in growlers and filled ours w one regardless of us informing him they don't work like that. I was disappointed w the food. I got a grilled chs w artichoke tomato soup which i assumed was for dipping the sandwich into... yet it came with more croutons than soup which soaked up the entire cup by the time it got to the table. Then they put a slice of cheese over it which made the sandwich i paid for useless.
But since my bf was happy w his food i gave them an extra star.
It seems like a fun place to bring the family but don't expect quality.
