Always a great meal at TK! We are STOKED they've made their Tundrabeary beer a core beer instead of seasonal! Our dogs love TK too! Each time we've been, someone comes out and asks if they can have a treat - that treat being a full piece of bacon! YUM! The human food is good too

Really like this place. The murals on the walls throughout the building have wonderful (hidden?) amusing details. The place is large, so plenty of seating, with dividing walls that keep the noise down and make the space feel a bit more intimate. The food is great, beers are delicious and cold. And the service here is the best part, always had delightful wait staff that are professional and personable. Will return to enjoy often.

Great brews to be drank! Dont usually eat here, but try to bring my Growler to fill. And can usually find 6 packs at the local liquor stores, some bars even have there beers on tap. The maple nut brown is amazing, and I just got the Imperial MNB, which is every bit as good!

Excellent food! However the server was slightly rude. We ended up having 5 in our party instead of 4. We asked for a chair and that wasn't an option, which we understood. We then asked to be relocated. Instead of helping us, she answered us rather annoyed and told us we had to go back up and see the hostess. Really?? You can't move us and tell the hostess? Sounds more like you don't feel like bothering to help. Instead of of fighting all of that nonsense, my son sat on the edge of the seat for 2 hours. Looking back perhaps we should have asked to move, so we could have gotten a better server. Never had a drink refill, maybe water is pricy or perhaps she just wasn't feeling well today. I asked for a drink and instead of saying oh, I'm sorry, we don't have that, but we do have this, I was told we don't do that here in a snotty tone. My family and I are very relaxed people, I don't complain about things as I have worked with the public for years. This was one of the most disrespectful experiences I have had in a while. Too bad we couldn't tip the chef rather than the server.

Food was great! Got the fish tacos and it was a nice generous portion. The biggest fish tacos I've ever had. And very delicious. I also got the truffle fries which were totally worth the upgrade. The starter caesar salad was also very tasty. I paired this meal with a flight of their beer and was very satisfied. I tried a peppermint chocolate porter, which was something I've never had before, but to my surprise was very good... Got a crowlerb to go of it. This was my third visit to this brewery on the way back from the slopes. It's very easy to get to and the prices are fair. The staff was also very friendly every time I've been there. 5/5!

My girlfriend and I stopped in here after touring the shops along main street through Idaho Springs. Tommyknocker has their brewery on-site as well and offer a good variety of beers. They also offer a few different styles of flights to sample...we went with the light flight which consisted of four 5-ounce pours of some of their lighter beers...their Amber, their Wheat, a fruity beer known as TundraBerry, and a pilsner. All were good but the TundraBerry might be a bit too sweet in a full pint. Their flights are only $7.

I love the beers, and was excited to try both the menu and beers on tap (live out of state) while visiting. The hostess (very nice) told us to seat ourselves in the brewpub side (at 1230) and followed us with the menus. That was the last interaction with the staff. After watching three separate servers walk by us for 15 minutes without even acknowledging we were sitting there with menus and no drinks (with trying to flag down or make eye contact), while others who were seated at the tables next to us (and after us) were served, we got up and left. Maybe try this place again in a month or so to see if the wait staff gets it together by then.

My favorite brewery! If you're going with a couple people I highly recommend getting the sampler of ALL the beers, because there's plenty of options and enough beer for at least 3 people to try it all and decide which one you like the best. I personally wait all year for the CoaCoa Porter. Which is seasonal and is a fall/winter beer. It's worth it. Head to Tommyknocker and enjoy some good food and amazing beer.

A must place to visit when in Idaho Springs. This iconic restaurant and brewery always has a fresh menu with delicious food and a great variety of their own beers. Try a burger or my choice: the fish and chips. My favorite beer is the Maple Nut Brown Ale. You will love this place!

Slowest service of my entire life. I watched my waitress serve every table around me and their food even when I had ordered first, then she didn't even bring it out it was another server. I don't know why it took her so long to do anything but I found it extremely rude to watch her continue to skip didn't want to say anything but even my food came out cold, the fries were basically inedible and I barley picked at the meal.

Get the IPA flight, and if they have the acai sour, try it, it's not over powering and not too sweet!

Green chile was excellent, fries were abundant with my burger, and they have a raspberry jalapeno jelly that comes with the jalapeno poppers that I could drink on its own.

If you can spring it, they have dope growlers, and for really inexpensive fill prices. If you go skiing/snowboarding in Idaho Springs a lot, fill up before you head up the mountain, theyre indestructable.

Beer was good and so was our server. Got the $16 elk burger. Definitely frozen and dried out. Bun was dry. French fries had been made 20 mins before receiving them and were cold. Asked for fresh fries. Server brought some immediately. These were warm but still dried out and had no crisp to them. First time there and I won't be returning. Good place to grab only a beer.

Great beers and venue. Very crowded on Fridays and weekends. Parking always a bit of a challenge since some street parking is now paid. Try their sodas too. And a great shout out for always supporting clear creek school events when asked.

Food and brews is on point! Perfect place to go after one of those strenuous hikes and you're quenching for beer and can't wait to eat, but it also simply stands alone for a reason to visit. Beaujo's was always my go-to, and still is but now I have another.

We had horrible service, the waitress only came by to take our order and bring the check. The food was nothing to be impressed with either, the burger was dry and the jalapeno poppers were soggy.

Update: We are both now suffering from food poisoning, this is not how we wanted to spend our last night on vacation.

The food is average bar food, not restaurant food. We had the wings and they were awful. Super oily, deep fried and no sauce. We checked out their menu before stopping by and it said the wings were famous. Haha! We ended up throwing our food away, it was that bad. Again, barely bar food quality for restaurant prices. Super pricey for what you get.

Drinks were great. Atmosphere and service very friendly. Food was not so great. The appetizers were okay. Entrees came out in minutes after ordering tasting stale, rubbery, and like it was pre made and microwaved. For half the price, a Kroger frozen dinner would've tasted more satisfying. The owner was gracious to take the entrees off but our replacement food still came out too fast and tasted like it came out a microwave. So for a beer + a cocktail + nachos our total came up to 24$ after our IHS resort VIP 20$ off discount. The quality does not match the price. We understand it was late and would've been okay with just drinks if they were honest about the state of the kitchen. Very disappointing part of our vacation.

Stopped in for lunch on Sunday, and we were able to grab a table on the very crowded bar side. Every seat in the room was filled by 11:30, and if that isn't a testament to the quality of this place, then I dont know what is.
We ordered two burgers (Southwestern and Western) both medium as well as beers and cider. The burgers came out very well done, but otherwise everything was perfect. Our server was attentive, friendly, and happy to answer all of our questions about the local beer selections.
The Maple Nut Brown is particularly delicious, and we ended up purchasing some to take home.

Worst service I've ever had in my life. All we wanted was a flight of beers. After being sat by the hostess we waited 15 minutes. While the server greeted all other tables which had seated after us. Never were we confronted by anyone until we told the hostess as we were leaving. I would really love to try this beer but the service was terrible.

The blond with glasses hostess that worked there 02/15/2019 at 4:00 pm was really rude.

I'll rather just buy their beer in cans.

Craft beers in an old mining town that almost feels time left behind. Tommyknocker has always been a solid brewery and add a pint and some green chili to my table and I'm happy as can be after hiking St Mary's Glacier.

Service was not very attentive. We waited a while for water and then another 10 minutes or so for our server to come back. He checked on us one time during the meal as he was walking by and didn t really wait for a response. During this time the restaurant was not busy at all. The food was mediocre. Probably would have added a star if the food was better. We had cold fries and missing items from our order. The menu is a single page so missing items shouldn t happen.
