Today was the first time I went there and really wish my service could have been better because the food was good but went around 3pm and the place was slow so i cant understand why our service sucked so bad.

First time visiting and the food was delicious. The kids loved it as well.

Raspberry sour was delicious! I also tried the blonde but it wasn't great. The palisade cream ale was tasty, as was the Ember. Flights were a but more expensive than other bars. They were served in a block of a tree. Plenty of spaces to sit and eat, we didn't order food though.

We had appetizers there, delicious! The beer was ok, but I'm also comparing to Wi micro brews.

We stopped and ate/drank beer at alot of places in CO on our vacation. One of my very favorites for sure. Jalapeno Poppers were awesome and the beer we had was fantastic. Definitely go!

Good beer and nice, miner themed atmosphere. Food portions were generous- the buffalo burrito was 3 servings for me!

This is a great place stop for a beer and a bite with friends and family from out of town.

Buffalo chili had no meat in it. Beers were average. Just another high priced eatery in a touristy mtn town. Overall a C- experience.

Bad burgers. Bad service. Had to ask for water refills. Disappointing when attending a Colorado classic restaurant.

We usually stop in for lunch when we're in the Idaho springs area. Always delicious.

Incredible experience! Even with a large group service was fast and friendly. The beer-battered fish and chips was delicious. The batter on the fish was some of the best I've had. The coleslaw was a nice change of pace and the atmosphere in the restaurant is fun and laid back.

Always love going to Tommy Knockers when I'm in town!! Such great food & beer!!

This is the Best Brewery... The Staff is the Best of the Best ... They make you feel like home away from home.... The beers are super tasty !!! Mexican Lager is the Best Lager my Hubby and the Double IPA wow ...
Right now with the pandemic This brewery was the first one I saw the actually measure with a measuring tape to make sure it was to regulation ... I RECOMMEND THIS ONE ONE MILLION PERCENT!!!

Great service. Nice setup out on main street to accommodate covid. Wish they hadn't gotten rid of the beer battered mushrooms tho!!

Great food, brewed beers only, and a great atmosphere in the middle of downtown Idaho Springs, Colorado.

Nice little place in to have a meal + a drink. Their own beers are delicious as you'd expect from a Colorado brewery. The meals were hit or miss. Some in our party really enjoyed the food while others felt like it was just okay.
Certainly not a bad choice for dinner!

We were disappointed in the service and the food was just okay. It was difficult to get refills on our water and soda. We did not have silver ware, when our appetizer arrived. It was more than 10 minutes before we were able to get the attention of anyone. We arrived about 2:30, on a Saturday. Yes, our server had a large table and other's she was working. That's not an excuse for paying no attention to a two top against the wall, clearly attempting to get the attention of anyone who worked at the establishment.

The only negative is the wait time but it is still well worth it

Great tasting beer. Good food and service. Atmosphere was nice. Plenty of tv screens for sports and staff was very friendly.

Make some very good beer. Use to make a Rye Potter. Was my favourite beer. Plus they have very good food. In Idaho Springs Co.

Always a great place to stop in for food and beer. They never disappoint. Fun selection of beers that changes occasionally, something for everyone for sure. Very kid friendly, good selection of menu items. Amazing mac and cheese. I have been coming here for years and it is always excellent!

Update: I'm heartbroken. They 86'd the Fish Tacos. I'm crushed. Soooo good and nutritious after a long day shredding the slopes.

Best pretzel we've ever had. The boys said the Root Beer is awesome. Especially after our AVA zipline experience - we were thirsty. Our server Nathalie was great and the town is fun to window shop and souvenirs.

Outdated but landmark mountain brew pub. Large portions but lackluster food, prices are way higher than I remember from the last time I went (a couple years ago). Go for the root beer only.

Food is amazing. Even the coffee is good. I typically cannot stand restaurant coffee, but this place is the exception.

My husband ordered a flight of tasters. There were 4 different varieties. He liked the beer, I did not, not even the dark beer that is usually my go to beer. Unfortunately I do not recall the name of the one dark beer I was hoping for a More

If you want ice you need to ask for it. It was really warm in there. The food is good and service is great.

My family and I came to eat there while on a mini vacation. Within an hour of finishing there, everyone in my party were very very sick. We went back to our hotel room and that is where we spend the remainder of our time in Idaho springs. Spent $120 on a meal that made us all very sick. Not worth it at all

Great microbrewery in Idaho Springs. They have a beer for just about anyone. The food was to die for as well. Food was a little pricey, but the taste and portion size was well worth it

I was here almost 10 years ago, and in that time Tommyknockers has grown into a must stop when in Idaho Springs. Their food is super good too! The BLT I had had sooo much bacon, they were not messing around. My friend enjoyed her meal very much as well. I highly recommend you stop in.

Took 15 mins before anyone came over to take our drinks order. Ordered a Western bison burger, medium.

Very ordinary...way overcooked, no lettuce/tomato/pickle. Just meh. Look elsewhere if you want a burger.

One of Colorado's oldest microbreweries. Excellent food and great selection of beers brewed on site. Try the wings (they're huge) and a black powder stout. Which you can only get at this location as it's not sold anywhere else!

One of my fav spots ever. Love the burgers and especially the poppers. Beer is great as well!

Went here for a quick beer and a snack before our massages at Indian Springs. All in all a great atmosphere and awesome little brewery environment. The chips, salsa, guacamole, and queso were really good. I had the IPA flight and it hit the spot. Good lineup of beer and tastes. I definitely recommend checking this place out.

Picked up beer the other day and I had messed up ordering and ended up paying more than normal, they came out and gave us two extra cans to make up the difference in price and a hot tip: mixing the blood orange IPA and tundrabeary half and half tastes like a sweet tart.

Love coming here. It's a great family environment with excellent food

So many delicious beers. We had The pickled pepper caprese and a pulled pork bith were very good as well. Place was busy butnhas ample seating.

They now have a wonderful friend & someone who knows about how to create GREAT Food. we just had the best Fish & Chips in the region. Thank you Tom

A tourist favorite! Great stop after a long ride or drive. Usually always busy, but the wait time is never very long. Staff are friendly food is good, pizza is best, craft beers and selection is better. Try the rootbeer

I'm so very disappointed. My daughter and I went rafting today and the rafting company recommended Tommyknockers when we asked where to eat - they even gave us a coupon for a free beer or root beer. We'd had a great day and were excited to More

If you are in the area or traveling through, do yourself a favor and stop in. The menu has a great variety, and it is after all a microbrewery, and their own root beer for the non-alcoholics. Over all an excellent place to strap on a feedbag.

Came here have my father-in-law try your green chile beer. He was disappointed that Twisted Pine stopped distribution of billies chilies. He enjoyed Tommyknockers even more and can even take some home back to Indiana. Refreshing and perfect. This was also our first time grabbing some grub. I got the half order of fish and chips which was huge and absolutely delicious.

Went in for a snack and a couple of drinks everything was really tasty the ceaser salad was delicious! And the bacon on the poppers was crispy!!! Definitely stopping by again next time we're in town! Hot caramel apple was perfect!

The food was pre-cooked and came out 3 minutes after we ordered. The soup was cold and chunky. The fish and chips were more batter than fish. The coleslaw was something you buy in a bag at Walmart. Don t eat here!! Spent over $50 and left hungry and mad.

Tommy knockers is usually a spot we hit either going to or from vail. They have good food and great beer. On this particular night my friends wanted Tommy's but I wasn't feeling greasy, so we split and I went to two brothers deli. I got my food and went over to eat with them but they do not let you eat outside food. I understand that this is a common rule in most resturant establishments, but it's 9pm your restaurant isn't that busy, and they are ordering food. As a business you shouldn't turn down a sale. We decided to all go to two brothers.

I had not been to Tommyknockers for 14 years. The service is still excellent as it was back then. WHAT A GREAT PLACE!

We try to stop here when we go to Breck. Fun little place in a cute town. Very dog friendly!

Their beer is so good! And the nachos are to die for.
