I reccomend dressing your children in a disney character costume...they seem to get picture preference when the Disney characters come around.
Nice place to visit. Make ylsure you bring extra cash to buy fast passes otherwise expect to waste 90 minutes or more to get into the main attractions. Average price for meals is between $15 and $25. Bring snacks and eat some where else when you leave the park.
My son and I enjoyed Tokyo Disney. Even though we do not speak Japanese, we were able to easily go around the park, enjoy rides and shows, and order food. Many signs, shows, and helpful staff spoke some English. The park was very clean and beautifully kept. The employees were very nice and hospitable. We really loved the popcorn stations.
Close to Tokyo Disneyland. Very clean and comfortable. Large choice of very good food for smorgesbord breakfast.
Loved every bit of it. Enjoy with your family and friends.
The Tokyo disney parks are the best in the world! Beautiful and full of so many Disney details. We love how well the park is taken care of. Going on weekdays is best as the lines are not as long.
Very attractive especially for young child. Try their popcorn bucket, they are really delicious
Good place. Can get happy 15 which allow the guests enter DisneySea and Disney land earlier.
My grand children love disneyland....and that makes me happy
Disney is Disney all over the world. The park is beautiful and carefully crafted. It's a wonderful visual experience, but insanely overcrowded. A long day at the park is enough for maybe four rides. We never waited less than an hour, and this was off season! I appreciate the craftsmanship of the place, but the lines are not worth it.
A must-go for both young and old who adores fairy tales and Disney fantasy!
Worth the trip. Only complaint is app is japanese only.
Went in January most of the rides where shut. The fire works were cancelled due to weather. The Starwars VR ride was good and current.
Happiest place on Earth where kids & kid's at heart wear smiles all day long
To may people are using the fast past which slows down the line for the regulator people. Very few rides compared to Disneyland Anaheim & Orlando. l will not recommended Disney Tokyo, stay away, don't go.
For everything Disney this definitely doesn't disappoint
One ride took 2 hours +. Very tiring. Buy fast pass or better not going here.
Great for bringing your children to experience the Disney Magic (great for adults too!)
Nice theming and rides. Not much choices for food here although it's pretty standard for theme parks I guess. Very clean and tidy (as you'd expect from Disney).
My family and i went just to walk around and have lunch there. There were lots of clothing stores and restaurants by the resort. We went on a holiday, needless to say it was pretty packed. However, we still had a good time.
Very disappointed. Having read up on how good this was I had great expectations but essentially it was just a place full of Disney shops selling Disney merchandise with a few rides thrown in. Half a day there is more than enough.
Fun and service minded staff always try to make your holiday memorable!
Loved the rides, took me back to my childhood. Fastpass was the way to go for the bigger rides.
Amazing place. I really had fun. Rides are ok, shows are amazing
It's the same as Disney World with the exception of food and a few little touches. I didn't get to go to the sea part, but I would recommend doing the park that's not a duplicate of the florida park. It was new years eve when we went, and it was so full you could barly move, and all the food places had hours long wait.
Didn't really enjoy this as the wait times were to long. We ended up leaving, Wouldn't go back.
Great fun! - some rides are nowhere else! Really nice personnel here and incredibly helpful! Where else but Japan!!
There is a lot of people
You will need to wait patiently for the intense rides. You can book ur seat for the rides and come back at it later.
Amazing experience! The rides, shows, everything was amazing! Best to avoid peak seasons since you won't be able to enjoy everything fully
Clean, friendly, reasonably priced, and easy to get around for an English speaker. A must visit for any Disney fan.
Excellent stay. The Japanese staff really helps the atmosphere feel magical.
A larger version of Disneyland California with some extra attractions.
Our local friend said we needed to do this and I get why she said so. It is Disney with different stuff, the theming of the park is even stronger than a regular Disney park. We went on a "yellow day" meaning "moderate crowds"... The lines for the rides were over 2 hours long... Every place serves alcoholic drinks here which was the saving grace... It sadly the average line for a drink was 45 minutes. I can see how the park is a uniquely Japanese/Disney experience in a way that Tokyo Disney is not but the lines here were just brutal. Wouldn't go again but if you see they are having a green day (which I hear is never ) meaning low crowds it might be worth visiting.
We were told to get the fast pass for the toy story ride first thing in the day or you won't get to ride it...we were there at park open and waited in line for 1.5 hour to get a fast pass to come back at 9pm to ride it. By that point in the day we were too tired to use the fast pass and gave up.
Went to Disney sea. Prepare for a long day filled with queues! They were insane (even for the popcorn wagons and drinks!! Wait times for the rides were a joke too and we went on a "quiet" day; 4 hours for most of them so we only went on two rides. Always get a fast-track pass!! (although the ticket machines for these were closed at 5pm which is annoying since the park closes at 10pm...?! This was my first Disney experience and to be honest I was really disappointed UNTILL the main show on water. We saw the imagination fantasy and it brought me to tears. It was so well produced and the effects and music were so magical, it redeemed the day 10 fold. If it wasn't for the show it would be 1 star review but I'm a sucker for pyrotechnics and singing along to Disney songs.
This was my first Disney parks experience, and it was definitely worth it. I don't think there is another place like it!
Queue is long even during weekday. Prepare to queue for more than an hour for some rides, not worth it as we only managed to get on 3 rides. Was misleaded by the park assistant on the freepass due to their poor English. Freepass can only be used for the particular ride, not just any ride
This place is magical that you can spend a day or two to explore and have fun both in Disneyland or Disneysea. Food and beverage are overpriced though.
One of best tourist spot in Tokyo especially Disney Sea. Come earlier and que go to most favorite game first and also get fast pass.
Not your typical Disney Resort. When we arrived some rides were closed although it was a very busy day. Other couple rides seemed to be in rough shape and in need of maintenance.
It was amusing to see how young Japanese boys and girls come here dressed up as Disney characters and use Disneyland basically as prop for their pin-up photography.
Crowded? Yes! And it should be for all the variations of joy it provides - especially leading up to Halloween.
Very clean, organized and definitely the happiest place on earth. All of the rides are carefully decorated and created have great story presentations.
It's Disney, of course it's excellent! Don't come during major holidays, though. It can get extremely crowded!!
So clean and orderly, yet magical and fun! Staff are super helpful and the rides are fantastic!
Truly a magical place. Was in a bad mood when I got off the train because of my own sillyness at getting lost but as soon as I saw the gates I was nearly skipping. The staff are always smiling and it's easy to get around as well as get lost. The food was delicious, I tried foods from three different places around the park as well as a few snacks. I will say there is an over abundance of popcorn stands. You gotta look closely for the better snacks. They've got a few parades throughout the day and the fireworks display at night. Unfortunately on of the parades was canceled due to weather while I was there, but with everything else it wasn't a loss. It's open from 8-10 on Saturdays but expect crowds. If you get a good day like did a bit overcast and a little drizzly the crowds weren't so bad. Longest I waited for a ride was 1hour(big thunder railroad) I got a fast pass for space mountain. But even that wait was only around 70min without the fast pass. Prices were fair and tickets are very cheep compared to the Disneyland in California. Worth every penny or yen
I want to visit all the Disney parks because Disney is my favorite thing ever. This park didn't let down at all. Their castle is huge! And so is their main Street (which is called world bazaar) and the area in between was also humongous. Coming from California Disneyland as my comparison. You expect some things in Japan to be small but they did not go small on Disneyland. Most of the rides are very similar and most of the park is set up in a similar way. The Winnie the Pooh ride is awesome and completely different from ours. It was fun to ride the ride and spot the little differences from our rides. Whether you are a Disney fanatic traveling all the parks or if this your first Disneyland visit, I definitely recommend visiting this park. But I also definitely recommend Disney Sea. And if you only have one day for Disney parks (sad sad choice) I would pick Disney Sea because it's very different from any of the other parks and also it's amazing!
Way too many people are allowed in. All I can remember are line ups.
Amazing place in Japan, fantastic dream with Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Guffi, Pluto, Daisy Duck etc
Cute and adorably decorated themed rooms such as beauty and the beast. Would be brilliant for young families to enjoy. Lots of space
Come early in the morning and stay until the park close..the night parade is awesome and worth to wait
This place is incredible! We were disappointed that the castle was under construction, which is one of the main attractions, this wasn t told to us when purchasing tickets the day before going. The rides are aimed more at smaller children, teens and over should probably look at Disney Sea.
I'm a certified Disney addict so this might be biased - Disney is the happiest place on earth!
Was good experience stay on the park, the you will access earlier and get the fast tickets first.
What an a amazing life time experience! The buildings are incredible and the rides are great for the little once s! I went on 2nd of January. It was extremely crowded!!! Had to wait 2 and a half hrs to get on a ride! Goes to show you how popular it is! It s probably best to visit not around school holidays! Otherwise it s pretty awesome and the food is a m a z I n g ! !
Great place lovely people,, no one speaks english show are in japanese.
Don't go during peak seasons or public holidays. Ever.
Absolutely brilliant, kids had a fantastic time. Only draw back is their 'fastpass' system where, you need to be there at opening time to get a fast pass ticket that has a suitable time to get on a ride! If they use the system that they use at Legoland, I'm sure it will be much better for queues. Parades are brilliant to watch. My kids seemed to have enjoyed Disney Sea better due to the rides available, but both parks are a must if visiting.
Although the happiest place on Earth, Tokyo Disneyland felt like a smaller version of the one in California. However, a strong key difference was the wait time. One of the rides, Star Tour (a 4D Star Wars adventure ride) never had a line that reached outside. My family and I were able to ride on it twice! Overall, it was still enjoyable and doesn't hurt to visit at least once in Japan, especially if you haven't visited Disneyland before.
Had a fun day but very crowded. Be prepared for long queue and toy story mania fastpass runs out as early as 9am and most fastpass runs out at 12pm.
Broadway show and ending night show are a must see. Honesty feels like magic
Fantastic resort that looks amazing in an unassuming area, entry price isn't as steep as other theme parks worldwide. Very busy and crowded, attractions can warrant a long wait, but some good planning can get you the most out of your visit, definitely go early and use your fastpass wisely.
Amazing..this is the best resort i have ever come..very beautiful, clean, hospital & everything is ontime..
