Todo Dulce Review

Worse service you can ask for. After spending days and face to face conversations of what we wanted for our sons birthday party, our whole order was completely wrong, not fully done yet and everything what edible pictures on everything. We spend hundreds of dollars to receive such a bad service. I dont usually give bad reviews but i just had to. Please dont order from here all those good reviews were made a long time ago when the good baker was still working there until she left.

I have ordered several cakes from Todo Dulce in the past 2 years. The first was for my son and it was a three tier pirate cake that came out Amazing!! The second was for my nieces birthday and the Third was also a 3 tier Minnie Mouse Cake. The quality of the design is excellent. The taste is just absolutely delicious, the cake it moist and disolves in your mouth. They also have a variety of flavors. They are very professional and very reliable. I definitely recommend them for cakes for any occasion!

TODO DULCES WILL NOT ONLY MAKE YOUR CAKE ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS...BUT THE DESIGN WORK IS OUTSTANDING!! We met with 4 different cake vendors, and Todo Dulces blew everyone else out of the water!! We worked with Alejandra, who made our "cake dreams" come true!! We wanted to do a "Tree Cake" to go with our campy chic wedding theme and ToDo Dulces exceeded our expectations by a landslide! Plus it's the yummiest cake as well! Since our wedding, I've been back twice for birthday cakes and they did amazing designs without even being asked! This will now be my bakery for all occasions!!

I really felt very bad with your attention and service.
Their customer service is very bad, and they charge you for things you never get.
Very bad my experience

Dry cakes, poor customer service. Monday during business hours I called various times and couldn't get through. Finally Wednesday I spoke with Leonor on the phone and she told me to go pick up samples for a tasting (didn't ask me what flavors I was interested in, just gave me her choice). I had to do it this way bc they close very early and anyone with an office job that finishes at 5-6 on a weekday won't be able to make it there so this was the only way to take things back home and test them out.

When I attended the tasting she quickly went over the cakes which were in a tiny album, nothing grand very basic designs, yes 4 tiered, but she stated NOT FONDANT opposite to what was advertised on my contract with the hotel. Although I told her that I wanted a rum cake with dulce de leche filling she didn't offer me a sample of it, didn't offer me water either. I left and went to try the samples in my car, sadly ALL their cake samples were very DRY to the extent of me almost choking. She never offered for me to try them there at the shop. Her almond cake tasted very bad nothing like almond. Her lemon and orange cakes tasted the same. Her chocolate cake was overly sweet and her rum cake was actually good and moist (rum cake was the only one that tasted how it should). However, I left with doubt because the cake was interested in was Vanilla Rum with dulce de leche filling which she never offered. So i went back (5 minutes later) and offered to buy a slice of dulce de leche filling. She made me wait because her workers were on lunch break, I waited although her excuse seemed ridiculous since I had just walked out. She charged me almost $4 for a slice of super DRY vanilla cake with NO RUM and no dulce de leche filling. Instead they slapped a huge quantity of the filing on top of the cake. Essentially it tasted bad and was super DRY. She never offered a spoon I had to request it. They charge $1.50 per person for cake filing and $65 for a very dated and beat up cake base. I was disappointed since the hotel had highly referred this vendor, yet what I had was a 2-Star experience. Yes they might be punctual and maybe decorate pretty but their product taste and texture and their customer service certainly doesn't deserve any recommendation. She never confirmed that my package included fondant and stated she would call me back she never did. A few days later the person from the hotel tell me yes fondant was included. I called the shop speak with Vanessa she states it's NOT included, then Leonor gets on the phone and states for me it is but for future orders it won't be. Let me clarify this: Anyone with a contract at the DoubleTree Grand Biscayne Bay prior to 11/17/2018, if you really want Fondant from this place you SHOULD get it bc it was included in the package until then. Taste and customer service matters a lot to me and this place did not made me feel like a valued customer. Their flavors were subpar. Cannot recommend them.

I ordered a cake for the year of my girl, all pretty well because the price was very high and when I started to cut the cake I spent a lot of grief it was a small piece of cake on top and pa on the bottom is a cardboard lined with meringue

The most incredible and delicious cakes ever! Not to mention the best customer service in Miami. They are my go to cake company and I highly recommend them to all my brides!

Stole my money. Claimed under new management and gave me the run around. Finally got in contact with the right person, had a whole conversation until they found out who I was then they "Don't speak english"
This company might do good cakes, I don't know, but what I do know is they will charge your card without your permission. Fraud, will see you all in court...by the way, they will provide interpreter for no ah speaka english-ah THIEVES!!!

I am a wedding planner and stylist and today had the pleasure of working with Giselle from Todo Dulce... truly one of the best experiences I've had in a long time... My bride was beyond happy with the service and the attention provided..Planning a wedding can be stressful and quite cumbersome. But it is a true pleasure to meet with a professional that loves what she does and was willing to work with the my bride and make her feel very special. We truly went with intentions of just going in visit the location and figure out pricing and just look at examples of their work.. They were the first location that we went to to look at cakes... but the service and the quality of product was so exceptional that we decided to not go anywhere else and we signed the contract today for a beautiful wedding cake for this July.... thank you again for a wonderful service we can't wait to see you're gorgeous creation at the wedding.

Second year in a row that I have ordered a cake and I loved everything, the treatment as always was unbeatable and the most important thing was great in flavor.

I called at the beginning of the week, the cupcakes were to be delivered Friday. They were and I requested that they were to arrive before 3. the presentation was good they looked lovely they were old the icing was hard, and the muffins supposedly cupcakes that were not tasty i couldn't give them away.

The most delicious cake I ve had in my life! Wedding cake- amaretto with raspberry filling. Excellent customer service, put fresh flowers on cake etc. only disappointment was that requested cala lilies were white. Gave specific instructions and sent pictures so It should have been accurate. But cake came with purple flowers (cala lillies). Delivered on time and most of all delicious! I m going to order one for our anniversary!

I ordered a frozen theme cake for my daughters 4th birthday. I called the day before to confirm everything. The party was on Sunday at 12:00 and the cake was scheduled to be delivered at 12:00. Well, the cake was not delivered until 1:00!!!! Nobody bothered to call me to tell me they were running late. I almost went to Publix to get a cake when all of a sudden they pulled up. The cake color was off and not right. This is NOT the first time this happens. Lesson learned, and I will never being using them again. Terrible service and every cake I order from them comes out wrong!

best cakes I have ever had. Marble cake is my favorite, the cake makers are highly skilled, they make any figure or photo on the cake.

The only reason I gave it one star is because I can t put ZERO stars!!! This place is horrible I went in two weeks before my event to place an order for cake pops and candy apples I was specific on what I wanted exactly I showed pictures and was told that s what I would get!! The day of the pick up I get there and Leonor attended me she brings out 18 cake pops when I asked for 24 one of my designs was missing!!!!!! When she brings out the candy apples it s even worse I asked for them to be green with sunflowers and I was given red candy apples with bees on them my event colors were black, yellow and white. When I explained to her that wasn t what I wanted she proceeded to raise her voice and said she had discussed the change with me when I showed her the messages where in no point in time she said she was changing it she said to leave the apples then with an attitude she wasn t understanding the concept as to why I was upset!!!!! This place is horrible they get your order wrong and change your designs to what they want!!!! The cakes tasted like boxed cake dry and old!!! I do not recommend this place to anyone!!! RUN and FAR!! Beware!!!!!

Unique flavor and designs, creativity in flavors and decoration.

The best most memorable amaretto cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting ever! This bakery was on Biltmore (Coral Gables) wedding cake recommendation list. We got our wedding cake there last year, and just this week a small anniversary cake since we left so quickly on honeymoon we couldn t eat much of the delicious wedding cake. Highly recommend. Truly the best cake I ve had of tjis type EVER and I ve made and eaten plenty!

We tried cake samples at many places before our wedding. We absolutely loved the taste and texture of the cakes at Todo Dulces. We loved the cake so much that we also had them provide macaroons, merenguitos, alfajores, mini-tarts, and mousses. They also made amazing cupcakes. Just an absolutely phenomenal bakery to work with!

Their cakes are tasty I had the pleasure of being able to eat them I recommend them.

I cannot say enough about this place! I asked for 50 hand made sugar orchids to cascade down a five tier cake that had to taste incredible. When I say they nailed it, they did! It was absolutely stunning!!!
I had so many compliments all night on how gorgeous it was and how great it tasted. Thank you for creating the most gorgeous cake for my magical day.

Ordered a cake on behalf of someone from here for a birthday. Fast turnaround, Friday for Monday. There were zero glitches in ordering and execution, and it was pretty:-) Got a sugar-free marbled amaretto and chocolate with chocolate ganache and the report I got was that everyone loved it!! The cake was more wood than cake, it was for 30 people, I had 20 people at the party and 10 had no food, and it was very expensive.

I celebrated my 50th birthday in Miami and took a chance ordering my cake from Todo. I was absolutely blown away when I picked up my cake. I had no idea what I was going to get. I was brought to tears when I saw the beauty of the cake. Stunning!!!! And the taste was out of this world!!!! The absolute BEST cake I've ever had!!!! It was deliciously moist. The strawberry filling was a great touch! Thank you so much for the BEST birthday cake EVER!!!

Honestly the BEST cake store in Miami-Dade!! Did a couple of cakes already, and there's not one time that they disappointed me. Laura helped me and she's so sweet and extremely helpful. Alejandra was a little rude, i don't recommend her. But besides that, the flavor of these cakes are amazing!

I was reading reviews for this place as a friend who I ve planned a few parties for wants to use them for a third time. Aside from the price being overly high for a cake, that I know for a fact I can get elsewhere for much less and better quality and just as beautiful and actually taste good; they are selling cakes that are not fresh and are not good at all. If I was able to post a picture I could show you corn syrup oozing between the two cake layers. I went with a picture to my usual cake place outside of Miami and asked them why would a cake do that and they said that it is because it is not fresh. I did not find the flavor to be anything special and I did notice at the party a few people taking a bite and tossing it in the garbage (I know I know as did my mother and another friend) If you re going to get a cake in Miami I would suggest to go somewhere else; get what you re paying.
