Please do i know when to pick up my passport. It has been over 1 month now since i submitted my application.I have not received any email and I am unable to log into the system.

I'm experiencing the worst customer experience ever from TLScontact. I've made an application on 13 May to visit France on 8 June. I was sent an email on Monday 20 May to go back to the TLS centre and fix an error. After 2 days of calling and sending emails, customer support did not get back to me. I then went to the centre on Wednesday 22 May. The problem as it turned out was in my last name!!
The Consulate was not happy with the name provided on the application. It's all because on my passport my husband's name is listed. And both on 13 May and 22 May I filled my last name according to what the TLS agents thought my name should be. It feels like they're guessing each time what the Consulate wishes to see on the application instead of actually knowing how to do their job.
Later on Friday 24th of May, I receive yet another email asking me to return to the TLS centre. Problem is that email is a response to a complaint I had filled on the website. Ever since, I've been trying to call non-stop but I got no response whatsoever. On the tracking website, it says my application is being processed, but my application has been returned 3 times from the Consulate to the TLS centre since I applied! All I get is automated emails asking me to return to the centre which is confusing and contradictory with the tracking service. Right now I have no idea what to do, what stage my application is and whether I should visit the centre or not.
TLScontact has no concern for people's time and money. People have work and I've already wasted 2 days just to fix this since I don't live in London. Now I fear that I won't get my visa in time which will result in yet more waste of money. This is utterly unacceptable and frustrating. All that was needed is good customer support for people to know what to do! Funny thing is that this is not my first time applying to a Shengen visa, I've never had issues but seems TLS is just getting worse. This badly affects the France Consulate and I hold TLS fully responsibility if I don't get my visa in time.

We came to the TLS visa application centre in Edinburgh from Belfast. The stuff here is very nice, specially the stuff in counter one , and they really help me a lot. I really appreciate for their help.
The receptionist at the TLS centre was extremely inpatient and ignorant. The male receptionist shouted at me to tell me to wrongly correct a field in the application form. My passport was issued not issued in China as stated on the Passport, but the rude and inpatient receptionist adamantly told me to change it to China, even though on the passport it was clearly stated as Singapore. But the receptionist was not aware of this as he refused to take a look at my passport. The experience was terrible as he was so sure of what was obviously ridiculously wrong. I did not correct it and the application proceeded very smoothly. In fact, if I were to be intimidated by such an ignorant and rude person into changing the correct information into something wrong, the application might have been rejected since the information will then not agree with my passport. In addition, I feel seriously offended by the rude receptionist as even if the application form was wrong, I have the right to submit it as it is and get rejected.
My God how can this people be so racist , majority of them are imigrants them self. Very bad costumer service. Wow

All staff is rude and unable to provide customers service even they don't know which document need for which visa for France,
TLScontact needs to respect more applicants!!!! The passport is an official document, you can do better when you stick the VISA on the passport page. you are the worst among all Visa application centre I've ever seen, shame on you
I m applied last week. They took my passport & tickets everything. They make sure me they giving visa on time. After that they didn t give me any response.now I m lost my money . Train ticket,hotel booked non refundable. Very disappointed.they jast playing with me.
I have applied for a few Schengen visas, but all at vfs global and they are very professional. Unfortunately vfs don't do French visas, had to approach these incompetent idiots. A bunch of African and Chinese immigrants running this place. More
My husband apply for tourist visa to France and was booked to attend today the 3rd August 2018. He got on time for his 8am appointment unfortunately during the checking process it was realized a letter was missing from my passport number More
The reason why I give star is that one of the staff here was ridiculously rude. I was asking the manager about a missing document and if it could be resubmitted with the premium service. He didn t even allow me to finish my question and just said You can t apply today. I ask you out immediately in a very rude way without any further explanation. I was so shocked as well as confused why I was treated like this.
The center and the people in it are great support and they try to help with everything .
The smile is always on their face and they spend the time to help and support.
They explain with great manors.
Nuella was the lady that did our application "what a great attitude and support".
Jordan F was the man who guid us for the dates and he checked the process for us as we finally collected the passports.
Such a great team , God bless them all.

I have applied several schengen visa and when I use tls contact to apply for France visa, it is the worst experience I have. Normally, when we booked an appointment, I am ok to spend within 2 hours in the visa centre. However, I spent 3 hours 30 minutes inside. They do not allow applicant to use mobile phones, this is acceptable but they asked us to turn off any electronically devices. This would mean we can not do any work but sit in the visa centre. I went to the visa centre few days ago and inside the visa centre, it was very hot and the air quality is very bad. I would not recommend people to come to this visa centre if they have any other choices. The staff are ok so far, but it is just the environment in the visa centre.
it would be great if you give prepeference to applicants that have kids
Unimaginably bad. It's shocking that the French consulate would be willing to be associated with this incredibly poor standard of service.
i am British and i sent all the supporting documents for my wife's spouse visa who lives in TUNISIA ... although the documents were delivered and singed from someone called EMMA the TLS sent me an email saying we never received the supporting documents !!!!!!!!!!
i went psychically to the center to find out but no one want to talk to me !!!!

I know that this review is not gonna make any change, if it could it would have happened ages ago, Incompetent and rude staff, you pay to get bullied or harassed, why is there still a center like this in the middle of london, children are banned here , why cant anybody make a direct application to the consulate, the staff needs serious training n regular classes on etiquettes, assoles
One star is given to the staff, they are pretty busy and tired which we can understand. But that is not the reason they are being rude and impolite like i own them one million dollars. If you are heading to this horrible place, please make yourself fully prepared.

Terrible service !! Terrible staffs !!! Very unorganised !!! The system at the biometric checkout is down and no staff cares about it. They just randomly picking people regardless of who is coming in first !! A lot of people who is behind me get to finish first. When I want to ask for explanation, they just ignore me. And when I get in the queue, the staff just pick another customer and put her before me without any explanation. Not just me, everyone in there is being treated terribly. Worst experience of receiving any services in my life so far. If I do not need the visa for France, I will definitely not come back here again. I paid for them to use their service and they treats me as if they paid me to come and do it!!!!

The place marked on the map is wrong, you should find it by zip code. Staff will be stubborn and make you praise

I bought all the documents according to their list (france visa) but they tell you that u need the application receipt which is not mentionned in the list !!!!!!!!!!! They tell u to go to the computer and enter ur login to print it and u have 2 attempts to enter the right password if u fail they block the website, U can't turn your phone on to reset the password and u can't go out side or U won't be able to come back ,u have to waste ur time again and book another appointment
They did this to maaany many people i was in the queue and i saw people going out very disappointed and one lady with long hair she was extreeemly ruuude there was a girl trying to remember her password she told her we don t have time for u to remember just book another appointment she didn t gave her 1 min to think

I am trying to amend my appointment and still no luck. I cancelled my initial appointment but its have not been cancelled yet by TLS and I cannot book a new one. I need to travel next month. I sent a request on 19.10.2015 and am still waiting!
Most pathetic experience. Rude staff. I was showing them that my travel insurance plan is from my company and it covers travel in any part of the world, but the front executive didn't understood it and asked me that you don't have any specific information about Europe. I explained her multiple times that I am applying for Schengen visa every time on the basis of this blanket insurance, and it covers the overall world, but she was adamant and rude and wrote a note that the travel insurance does not cover Europe on my documents. Please ask your staff to be polite and understand the documentation.

I had a very good experience at the center. The process was over in 30-45 min (I booked 8:30 slot). And the staff there were very helpful.
Keep all the docs ready and in order as mentioned in the website for smooth and quick process.

One of the worst experiences I have had to have with a consulting service. We were wrongly advised by the consultant about application forms - and when finally the consulate had requested for re-submission of applications, only my husband was approached and hence his visa got processed. My passport was returned to TLS contact on 6th of June from the consulate, but this was not updated on the online tracking system and none of their tele-com guys knew it until the consulate themselves said they had returned it a while back.! And when I did go there - I was met with blank stares and they were searching for my passport and when questioned about it - they say - oh someone must have called u.! It's their fault - not ours - this was a managers response. For a re-application of visa - they blatantly denied any appointments till 19th of July again - and helped in no way. When i did caution them on the 19th about my previous issue - they say - "you must have given them the wrong phone number or a wrong email address and hence u din get a call." No one wants to own up to their mistakes and no one was helpful. I had to face two months of agony of staying away from my husband because of their incapabilities.
No one was even prepared to listen- and while taking all our documents - they were constantly being disturbed by other employees and they were highly unprofessional.

Thursday's are the best days to go as they usually quiet and it is quick getting in and out.
The staff are really friendly and helpful, just make sure you get all your paper work in order before going, otherwise your going to have problems.

It s the second time I came here for my visa. This time I was so lucky to have Ms. Martha at the assigned counter to check my documents on 4th June. She was very quick and super nice. She made me feel relaxed and easy, totally changed my TLS image. Thank you!
I can rate 5 stars this time because I didn t have to pass the rude Chinese staff (young woman) at welcome area. My advise to people who will submit in this centre: Try to avoid this trouble maker in first step-welcome area.

I definitely recommend TLScontact for schengen visa applications.
Very lovely and helpful staff at the Edinburgh office. Nothing to complain about the process and staff at all. Only thing that can be improved is to put up a clear signage in front of the building.

Very poor services, I have booked appointment for visa to Edinburgh office and wanted to change this to London, i am not able to change by online i have sent many email to do this but no response for a while I called them several time but there is no option to contact to any of the staff I have left message many time but no call back, finally i end up to German embassy and got Visa in one day :)

My first experience was really bad but even the pick up of the passport they can't do it properly... More than 10people queuing but still they are talking talking inside. We can't hear anything they ask you from outside because they don't do any effort to make them hear.

Applied for Schengan visa (via France) on 17th Jan and got the passport/visa delivered at home on 23rd Jan (today).
The application submission process went smoothly in the application centre. All staff members (security, submission, bio metrics etc) were very professional and helpful. Much appreciated.
As long as you bring all the required documents, there is no need to worry. (Please make sure you bring the "receipt" that can be downloaded once you fill in the online application form)
