The DJ that was assigned to us got to the wedding late, spent most of the night on his cell phone, didn't follow agreed upon instructions for playing music and sent guests to the bride to get her ok to play requested songs. He was a disappointment.

Extremely professional and the music was spot on- the guest really enjoyed the party! Thank you!

How do you get people to dance during a wedding reception amidst a pandemic? I can t tell you, but Brandon from TKO definitely knew how. He had people dancing the entire reception - the final song had pretty much every person on the dance floor, having a blast. Not only did he keep everything running on the dance floor, he adapted to get our older guests out there as well with, strangely enough, a German polka. Seriously, it worked wonders; everyone was having a great time. Before all of the dancing, he was the perfect master of ceremonies. His timing was perfect, and he handled every curveball that came up. My wife and I spent a looooong time picking out songs for our reception, because we didn t know how many we needed. At the end, Brandon gave a shout-out to us to say that we had picked out the vast majority of the songs played, and that just made all of the work we put into our lists absolutely worth it. We could not have asked for a better DJ.

Brandon s performance, alone, deserves every 5-star rating; however, there is far more to TKO than just the day of. During the pandemic, when everything was changing and uncertain, Scott, our point of contact, made sure that everything was going to be okay. He worked with us when we had a vendor dropout, providing names and companies to help fill in for the missing vendor. We could not have asked for a better DJ company. TKO genuinely cared about our event, and they made sure that it was successful.

The guys at TKO are awesome. Very professional and helpful. I rented a karaoke machine for our company holiday party and they went above and beyond to make sure things ran smoothly the day of the party. We will definitely be using them at my daughters wedding in November.

TKO DJd both my Wedding Ceremony and Reception And I could not have asked for a more responsive, high energy, and overall fantastic DJ. We had DJ Zach Brock who was Professional, fun, and took all of our considerations and requests! I Would hire them again in a heart beat!

The company as a whole and our DJ Keith were amazing. The dance floor was busy all night. Highly recommend them

0 STARS. DO NOT USE TKO...We had our ceremony and wedding reception at Favazzas on the Hill with was a beautiful location. It was on their patio where they have string lights and a very romantic atmosphere. We were nervous about hiring a DJ as we really didn't see the point in it since we had created our own playlist but we needed the equipment and thought, why not, they will know what they're doing and will make the whole thing professional. We were very wrong. After turning down various DJ's we landed on TKO because they were the only ones that agreed to not bring their own lights (didn't want them because of the string lights) and to work off of our playlist. Here were just a few of the errors:

1) dj was having issues with mic before ceremony. He gave it to the officiant anyways and it cut out 50% of the ceremony. Luckily, small venue so our officiant just spoke up.
2) djs one role other than playing music was to announce the father/bride and mother/groom dance. DJ got the brides fathers name wrong (used mothers name). Did not correct himself when groom immediately corrected him.
3) Although we asked them not to MANY times, DJ ended up bringing red and blue dance lights (ruined our photos of reception). We didn't want them since Favazza's has beautiful string lights. Unfortunately, we were busy chatting with family and stressing about getting married that we failed to catch this at the time.
4) very first song played was #1 of 5 on our DO NOT PLAY list (cupid shuffle - bleh!)
5) midway through evening went to his own list of dance songs consisting of "hot in here" (not quite appropriate) and other old rap hits like lil john and what not. That's fine at a house party but not when we had picked out music that was enjoyable for all generations in attendance.
6) blasted music under Favazzas shelter at the tables (we did not notice until people complained to us while we were making rounds to each table). This was also something we had previously told the DJ not to do. We did not notice at the time because the wedding party table was outside of the shelter.
7) We brought this to TKO's attention - calling and emailing SEVERAL times - and TKO simply ghosted us.

Lesson being: DO NOT USE TKO

Absolutely AMAZING Service!!! TKO is sooo easy to work with and helped me make my wedding day a dream come true! They kept the dance floor full of energy, and full the entire night! The DJ didn t blare us out (like most do) and made sure to play all of my must haves! So happy we went with TKO, and I will definitely refer them to everyone I know!!

Awesome experience with TKO DJs at our wedding at Chandler Hill Vineyards a few weeks ago. The DJ was excellent and played all of the ones as requested and worked with our coordinator and photographer on all the timing to make the evening perfect. I would highly recommend them.

We had a great experience using TKO DJ's. My husband and I were pleased that the DJ stuck to almost all of the songs on our list (he threw in a few guest requests which we were totally fine with because they were great songs), and he came to us any time he had a question about our dances or our playlist. This company was extremely professional, answered emails in a timely fashion, and made sure we had a fun night!

We met Josh at a wedding expo and were immediately drawn to TKO DJ s after speaking to him. What impressed us the most about TKO was their level of professionalism. So many of the other DJ s were insisting we sign up that same day and/or offered DJ services and photo-booth and photography, etc. We like that TKO was not pushy and also focused on doing one thing right DJ ing. We met with them at their office prior to our wedding and were again impressed at their level of professionalism.

Andrew was the DJ at our wedding and reception and he was AMAZZZING. The processional song ended up running out because my flower girl took too long to walk down the aisle. Andrew was so quick to catch on and seamlessly extended the processional song so that no one would find out. We were requesting many international songs (Persian) to be played at our wedding Andrew did an AMAZING job with mixing them in with the English songs and at the right times. Our dance floor was crowded ALL NIGHT!!! We were so happy that we decided to go with TKO and we felt incredibly happy with our DJ Andrew.

There are many DJ services out there. If you are looking for a DJ who knows what they are doing and will be on time, professional, and fun then TKO is the DJ for you. All the other DJ companies appear to be jack of all trades but master of none. TKO is the master of DJ ing! They run a professional business and will give you excellent quality service.

The DJ you sent out to UMSL was absolutely terrible.

Our experience with TKO DJ started off as a good one and ended as a disappoonting one. We chose TKO after speaking to several other dj companies, asking numerous questions and being really impressed with their answers. My husband and I felt really comfortable with the choice we had made. Our good experience however started turning to a bad one after our planning meeting a month before our wedding. After the meeting i felt confident all of our questions had been answered, our day of time line was hashed out for the time being and all our requestes would be met. That feeling of confidence however started to dwindle when we weren't given any information on our DJ within a week, as promised, and when we repeatedly asked when he would contact us, as was specifically written in our notes, were told he will within the next day or so. As the day of our wedding drew closer my wedding coordinator took over reaching out to TKO to adjust time lines and also followed up on when the DJ would contact me as it had been requested. My coordinator was on one occasion told that the DJ would reach out, on a second occasion, that he works another job and isn't always available, and on a third occasion, 3 days before our wedding, that maybe there was some miscommunication on how their planning process works and that maybe she didn't understand, which I believe to be very unprofessional. However we were assured that our DJ, Andrew, was one of the best and had never missed a wedding. Let me be clear, TKO provided a service for which I paid and followed all of the rules, for which they also cashed their check very quickly, and when I asked for a small thing like my DJ to call me before the wedding, that didn't happen. The day of my wedding is when I finally received a call from my DJ. I was in the middle of hair and makeup, and really wasn't in the best position to answer questions or talk. When I did ask if he needed help with name pronunciation he said no and told me he would see me later. I didn't see him until the reception, but was made aware of the fact that he was cutting it so close thay my venue was making calls for a plan B. I can say with full confidence that the DJ never fully looked at our information as at the reception, he waited until right before introductions to check on name pronunciation, something I had asked if all was clear on previously that day, didn't announce most of the night, was absolutely not engaging, something we had requested he be, spent the night with his nose burried in his phone, so much so that my husband called him out on it, didn't announce most of the things scheduled so the guests didn't know what was going on. The mother/son dance notes were not followed as my mother in law had to signal twice to for it to end as she wasn't able to stand as long as it was running. It was also brought to my attention that when a song was requested, every guest had to get my permission, even though we had specifically stated that song list and requests were to be followed. The DJ also came up to me during the evening, told me he had played the handful of songs highlighted and "if he should just keep going with the list?" Another indicator that he really didn't read our notes. Once I had told him to just play our list as we had already given instructions on, he seemed to be able to actually do his job and have time to be occupied with his phone again. Honestly, of all the things that could have gone wrong, the DJ was the last thing that should have as we had asked for someone who would keep the crowd engaged and have fun with us, and we had already given instructions to follow, something we did not get that. Oh and just to be very clear, as the tip amount was questioned, which is also unprofessional, at the end of nights like this things can become a little hectic and mistakes are made, the DJ lucked out big time, but i can assure you that he did not deserve what he received, and I also will not recommend TKO.

HORRIBLE!! Ruined my daughter's wedding. From not being able to hear the music at the ceremony to not playing the correct song for their first dance. There are so many things that were wrong it would take too long to mention them all. Word of advice--go elsewhere!!!!

TKO was the best DJ we could have asked for during our reception! Scott was always quick with communication leading up to the ceremony and accommodated all of our last minute changes without any stress. Brandon had a great mix of songs during the reception and kept the dance floor full all night. I highly recommend their services!

One of the DJs left their equipment in the road (Big Bend) on a Saturday night. Unfortunately I had to hit the equipment with my car or risk hitting another vehicle. I called the manager and he confirmed everything and said he would be in touch. He never called back or offered to help cover the damages. Someone could have been hurt. No integrity here, best to try a different DJ service.

TKO DJs is the best mobile DJ service in the STL. They have the best office staff to make sure your event is ready to go. They have the best DJ staff to make sure your event goes to the next level and beyond. They have top notch equipment to make sure that the quality of the sound and lighting for your event or even visual equipment is the best you can get. For weddings the DJ starts a relationship with a phone call before the wedding to make sure the customer is happy and stress free about what is going to happen at their event. That is 1 of many things I like about TKO DJs. I would definitely hire TKO DJs again for my event. Keep up the good work!!!!

We were let down by the DJ who hosted our wedding. The office staff had great communication and pre-work that needed to be completed prior to the event. Upon completion of the pre-work we met again to finalize details such as song selection for the night, wedding party details, timing of nightly events, and general questions. After leaving that meeting my wife and i felt very confident a game plan was in place.

The service failure began that night by the DJ who hosted our event. Here are key points that were not completed correctly:
- During wedding party introductions he announced the bride and groom as the maid of honor and best man were entering. The best man and maid of honor were never introduced.
- Father Daughter & Mother Son dance instructions were not followed as mother and son were never introduced
- There was "open requests" however the DJ told several guests that he could not play certain songs because the groom stated not to play certain songs due to grandparents being there.
- TKO contract stated the DJ would be a TKO employee. The DJ told several guests that he was contracted out and does have his own business / jobs as well.
- Equipment failures. Songs began to skip and go silent during highlight moments such as the garter toss.

After returning home my wife received an email from leadership at TKO requesting feedback. My wife was honest about the the bullet points which were stated above. This is when I truly believe the disorganization and lack of responsibility was displayed. The response that we got back from our feedback was discouraging. In the email it stated that the talked to a photographer which gave great feedback about the DJ and the night. The photographer company referenced in the email was not even aligned to our wedding. Secondly, they stated the qualifications of the DJ and his professional experience and did not ask for more details.

Advice - meet with DJ in pre work meeting to set expectations, and clear confusion

TKO provided the DJ's and up-lighting for our daughter's wedding at the Boo Cat Club. They also provided the ceremony music. TKO knows the Boo Cat well and the uplighting was perfect in both the theater and the ballroom. The DJ's kept the dance floor busy all evening! They also kept us on track for the toasts, cake cutting, first dance, the father-daughter dance and the sparkler send-off. We really appreciated working with them to arrange the "special" song for the father-daughter dance - completely surprised the bride! Thank you TKO for a memorable and lively evening!

TKO was the best choice we could have made for our wedding... Our DJ was so easy to work with on the day. Leading up to the event, the manager, Scott, was so awesome as well. We had a really nice meeting with Scott, which helped to make me feel like everything was going to be organized and run smoothly, which it did. The dance floor the night of the wedding was more full than any dance floor I have ever seen. I am pretty proud of that since it was my wedding because I know people will remember the great time they had and I owe all of that to TKO for helping create the best time.

TKO DJs was great! We had my wife's birthday party at a bar and our DJ was fun and engaging. Great playlist. It was a truly fun night!

Was asked by a friend to sing at her wedding. Weeks before the wedding Scott reached out to confirm the music. Fast forward to the wedding day. 90 min before the wedding my wife and I go for sound check. We find out that the track that was bought had the singers preforming. Dj suggested to sing it A cappella. Really? So Scott shows up saying this that and the other with an F bomb. So never sang through whole song. First time will be during the wedding. Watch out for scott Washington not the most professional I ve ever come in contact with.

Love these guys. Andy Ruzicka did my wedding last April at Riverbend Chapel in Washington and he was the best wedding DJ I have ever seen. I have guests that still rave about our wedding and how much they danced. Thanks TKO and thanks Andy!!!

We had a great experience with TKO last year when we hired them for their DJ services! They make you really comfortable with the process of music selection and explaining their routines. Before meeting with a planner from TKO, they sent an easy to use system to select your favorite music and do not play list. We met up with a planner before the wedding and went through the timeline of our evening and our music selections. The DJ arrived to the reception early and was very professional. He helped the night go smoothly and did so with a smile on his face! We actually asked him to stay 30 minutes past our timeline and he did so willingly. Overall, great experience and would 100% recommend using this group for their DJ services.

Could not have asked for a better experience with TKO! They were wonderful from start to finish. We had to change venues after we signed a contract with them which or course rearranged our timings and everything. They were so accommodating the entire process and completely changed venues and times with us to accommodate us. They were very thorough in every email and phone call. We always knew what to expect. They organized every detail and an indeprh timeline for our reception. The day of we could not have expected a better DJ he was so friendly to us and all of our guests and did an amazing job at reading the vibe of the reception to keep people we never even expected to dance out on the dance floor. He kept everything flowing right on time as well. Thank you all so much for being a part of our day. Highly would recommend you all to anyone looking for DJ services.

One of the most amazing company s to work for, TKO is my family and home away from home.

The only vendor I would have reconsidered on our big day. We had some issues with the DJ not following the script we set up and spent hours working on. I know we were the first wedding back from COVID for our DJ, but he could have been much better.

When I used TKO Dj services it was a pleasant experience. My husband and I had them at our wedding reception. The dj kept me on the dance floor and was very accommodating. Songs that he didn't have, he found and played for me. We will be using their services again for out vowel renewal next year 2016.
