We did a simultaneous closing on a home we sold and one we bought in Spring of 2018. Everything seemed to go smoothly until we got a tax bill over two and a half years later for almost $250,000! TitleOne had sent the IRS a 1099 on the sale of our house since it was over $500,000. We had bought and sold houses before but this was the first over 500K. This is standard procedure, I understand that now. But why weren't we told or at least given a copy of the 1099? We don't owe the taxes because we lived in the house for 19 years but we are still dealing with the IRS to get this cleared up.

Justin and TitleOne were very helpful in helping us close on our mortgage. There was an issue with the deeding of the house and a different company said it would take 30 days to research and answer. Justin had it resolved in less than 48 hours, had he not done that we would have lost our ability to use this mortgage they way we had planned.

Justin took the time to go over our documents as well as explain a few nuances about our deed issue that we did not know about.

Would use them anytime we are conducting real estate transactions.

We used Title One on the sale of our home amd they were incredible! Professional, knowledgeable and kind. Christine and Ellie were quick to respond to any questions I had and always had an answer for us. The entire office staff were wonderful when we went in to sign our docs. I highly recommend Title One!!

We used TitleOne as the escrow agent to close the purchase of our newly constructed home because that is who our builder is used to using for all his new homes. We had some communication, statement errors, and timeliness problems but when brought to the attention of management, they responded by investigating and using these incidents for training and improvement. After the rough patches, closing was uneventful and successful.

The company has demonstrated to me that they are committed to continuous improvement and maintaining high standards. I would consider using them again.

Title companies are in a highly competitive indust...

Title companies are in a highly competitive industry, so little things will make the difference in picking one. I've closed at TitleOne multiple times and have had my clients do so as well. These guys are the best. They make everything super easy. They always answer the phone. They always take care of things for you. They don't nickel and dime you for little tasks (like recording a quitclaim deed). And the folks working here are really friendly. Recommend 100%.

Buyer beware: title one failed to properly title ...

Buyer beware: title one failed to properly title my property. Selling my home 3 years later and find out that they somehow falsely attached my neighbors note to my property. When called for indemnity, Title One would not make my title right! This caused a delay in my sale, unnecessary duress and anxiety, and additional work on my and numerous others parts. I would highly recommend seeking another title company!

I used them when refinancing my house and was told my funds would be deposited on a certain day. When they were not I had to call them to find out what was going on. I was told I needed to go down and initial some paperwork again due to the holiday. I got to the office on my lunch and the front desk gal was polite but had no clue what I was talking about then had to look up my file. I had to call the office again to confirm nothing else was needed and was told the funds would be there by end of day. Here I sit with no funds in my account! Extremely unprofessional that I had to reach out on something they should have caught days ago and then to be lied to again about when things will be deposited!

TitleOne, particularly Justin, a Senior Escrow Officer, made the process of signing the necessary documentation to purchase our new home a breeze. He was very patient and took his time explaining all of the paperwork with us while going through it with us and provided helpful homeowner tips. We d definitely recommend TitleOne to anyone.

The team at Title One are exceptional in their ser...

The team at Title One are exceptional in their service and attention to their customers!! They have assisted me with several 1031 exchanges and I have always been impressed with their quickness, responsiveness and attention to detail!! I am a real estate professional and have frequently heard of other 1031 qualified intermediaries (facilitators) who have delayed closings and made the process more difficult, nothing could be further from the truth with the team from Title One out of Boise! Even when my schedule has been busy and I have provided information later than I had hoped, they have always gone the extra mile to make sure everything closed on schedule! I give them my highest recommendation!!
