There is a very rude, and unprofessional person working there. And the company did not do a single thing about it. Definitely not a place I will EVER come back to.

Wonderful, caring, loving people! I can only think the people giving bad reviews never really went through this agency...I did! I placed my baby girl for adoption with them and they helped me through the most difficult time of my life. I would have never made it without Lutheran Social Services "Upbring". My counselor was with me every week. They helped me find the perfect family for my daughter. I am confident she is in safe hands. I would recommend them to any birth mother or adopting family! I have been extremely happy with Upbring. The staff has been amazing, very friendly, very courteous, attentive, helpful, knowledgeable, and caring. We used them to get our foster license and got licensed within about 90 days.

Domestic Infant Adoption Review: It doesn t do the experience of adopting our daughter justice by writing a few sentences, but we are going to try. Working with Upbring was nothing short of fantastic. After doing lots of research about how long, expensive and frustrating the process of adopting domestically was, we were expecting to be met with a similar experience (and were still very much interested in pursuing, regardless!). However, Upbring was none of those things. We matched quickly after our home study was complete (about 1 month). We were able to complete all the necessary paperwork and documentation at our own pace, but they provided a timeline to help keep us on track. I like to get things done fast, so we were able to complete all our paperwork in about 2 months. We were offered a sliding scale payment system according to our income and were offered a fair and reasonable payment plan for the remaining balance. This seems to be unheard of in the adoption world! But it made affording the adoption process so much more doable. As for the staff, we absolutely LOVED working with Kelly Keen and the entire Upbring community. They offered education, support, understanding and encouragement through the entire process. We felt heard and understood and most importantly, valued. We also were also thankful for how our adopted daughter s birth mother and family were treated. She was treated with respect and dignity and offered services to help with the transition of making an open adoption plan. We are so thankful for everyone at Upbring and will forever be grateful for them playing a part in bringing our most precious daughter home!
