Best sound for live music in New Orleans! Ticket destination, check website for lineup.
Nice small venue located near the river in uptown. Even with a large crowd it's easy to get a drink and go to the restroom. There are typically food trucks outside and you can go in and come out as you please. Excellent place to catch a show.
Great atmosphere. Pretty easy parking. The Devil Makes Three put on an awesome show.
Best place ever for concerts George Clinton & the P-Funk was amazing
WoW! no smoking! I can dig that! Tips is an Institution! Glad the Boy's from Galactic made the purchase! Thanks!
Wasn't bad. Good music. A bit warm. And drink had too much alcohol. That may not be a problem for some of y'all
Awesome place, great staff & drink prices! Music legendary!!
A staple in the NOLA music scene. You never know who you might see rock the house at Tipi's. This place is often mentioned in the lyrics of songs about New Orleans music. The history is rich here!
A truly historic place! Rather remote from the usual New Orleans parties, this club is the best place to enjoy good live music. Bigger than a bar, less impersonal than a big concert hall! An experience to live!
A fun place to hear live music. Drinks are affordable
Awesome venue! Good lights, sound, and a balcony inside.
Such an awesome venue! If you haven't been for sure go, saw Papadosio here and it was amazing.
Great concert, and the view of the stage from the upstairs balcony was awesome
Awesome venue with even better staff. So kind and so much love at Tipitinas. Will go back.
Friday nights, go have a drink and watch some good music!
This place is great for live music! The beer prices are a little steep, but just go a few blocks down the road for cheap beer and then come here for the music! I love it here!
A Nola tradition for live music and dancing! Catch a brass band or local funk act here if possible.
Went to this iconic place we went cuz we wanted to check it out. They were listening to Parliament and the Funkadelics. It was so much fun. It's an uptown and south of Magazine Street. The drinks were good. There was craft beer. Afterwards there's some really good food vendors on the street.
We enjoyed every second in this spot for T bday good food outside to trust me
Zydeco at the iconic Tips. Box checked will always make a stop on future trips to NOLA. Welcoming locals and tourists alike. Great drinks, great music, iconic experience.
Pro tip: there are some notable stops and eats in the Garden District on your way to/ from add in Jaques Imos or a stop at the Maple Leaf on Oak Street. And don't forget a souvenir hoody, I almost never take it off.
House that "'Fess" built.NOLA Institution. If you havnt seen a live show here you should have stayed home.Great Music,Great Folks and Great Times.
I had the best time of my life in here, thanks vulfpeck
Great local venue to catch some New Orleans music. Large, but not too large so you feel up close to the band and the sound is warm and crisp. Local brewery to catch some pre-show drinks and eats with friends.
Love this venue. In from Seattle visiting family. The cherry that topped our Sunday night. Kermit Ruffins, one of Big Easy's best players.
Best place in town to see the best artists in town !
A must see / experience in NoLa! Open late late (like past 4am during jazz fest) and worth the price. Great standing room only venue with enough space to see the stage from anywhere.
Definitely can get a little crowded so get there early to stake your spot.
Sometimes a college heavy crowd compared to the places I'm usually at however it's a very enjoyable music venue and it's not exclusively a college crowd. Everyone seems to have a good time. There are a range of shows.
If you want to learn Cajin dancing, this is the place!!
For music, history, and atmosphere, this is the place to go. Could use more chairs
Classic iconic New Orleans music venue, a must visit to hang with the locals and see great music
Great place for live music. One of the classic joints for tunes in New Orleans.
Awesome historic venue very hip vibe music is always jamming. Band could start closer to being on time
Sell out capacity is intense but this is hands down one of the best music venue s in town.
Intimate live music venue with affordable covers. Bar prices and selections are also decent. Wort a visit if you're in town. No place to sit though.
Do yourself a favor and see The Main Squeeze!! Tipitina's was lit tonight!!
Very cool venue, upstairs balcony very cool too watch a live show
Best venue in the country. Great music, strong pours.
Great place for concerts. Went watch Nahko and medicine for the people and is the best concert I have ever been to!!
First time in new Orleans and first time here. Was great experience and great music glad was able to go here and have such fun.
It was fantastic if you go to New Orleans you have to go there
You haven t been to New Orleans until you ve been to Tipitina s. There s a big dance floor not really any chairs. Most of the time it s standing room only. When the band takes a break go hang out outside, You may make some new friends. Also, there s usually a taco truck or some kind a food truck outside. This is where the radio station, WWOZ First broadcast out of. This is a classic New Orleans venue and favorite of the locals.
Great sound, good service. I just don't like that there are no places to sit down inside.
This is certainly worth the visit!
But all (obviously) depends on the artist(s) playing.
First time to visit Tipitina s and it will forever be a stop on our NOLA trips from now on.
Awesome venue, always fun. Casual, relaxed, bars only, no food.
Great sound! Like their equipment or sound guy must've been amazing because I saw my favorite band here and they just sounded amazing.
Tips is one of the greatest night spots in the universe.
This place is dripping with character and history. Amazing experience for Lundi Gras
