Love it .great show.
We were not fans if the VIP area which on this particular night seemed like a wasted space,a quarter of upstairs for a 1/100 of crowd.
But other than that tippatinas is a go to solid good time

Tipitina's is an epic music venue. I have loved it since the first time I went. The vibe is awesome and the acoustics are great. Plus, you can take a picture with a bust of Professor Longhair! A definite must-see while visiting New Orleans - I will buy tickets to shows I hate just to visit the place!

Legendary club in New Orleans. I had always wanted to go. Went on Wednesday night. I felt like the place was oversold because it was so crowded upstairs and down. It was extremely hot as well. Stayed one set of the headliner due to it being so hot. The opener wasn't my taste in music & vastly different than the next act. It was a struggle to get through his set. Drinks were good & reasonably priced.

I've wanted to see a show here for years! Finally made it to New Orleans and saw a band at Tipitina's! So fun! A bit dive bar-ish, but that just adds to the atmosphere. Tipitina's is a famous music venue and has an interesting history. Can't wait to go again.

It's a hole in the wall styled joint with a pair of arena sized brass balls... To play here is more coveted than playing at house of blues... There's something quantitative about the bones of this place that makes it feel right "for the soul"... For whatever reason, life seems more fulfilling watching an act perform here.

The granddaddy of New Orleans live music venues. Great, standing-room-only club that is now smoke-free!

My first show here was Gene Loves Jezebel, circa 1985. Last night I celebrated the 78th birthday of Rock n' Roll/Rhythm & Blues legend Deacon John Moore in an intimate show. Deke rocks! His 10-piece ensemble is tight.

Tips could have at least one employee clearing refuse from the unused bar nearest the stage... The first-set trash was a gross impediment to resting my $3 bottled water. [No Perrier or Pelligrino here, folks.]

This place was simply amazing! I love that there is balcony option to see the show. The sound system could be improved a bit, but it didn't stop from seeing a great performance by The Dead South. The drink prices were amazing compared to any show I've been to, and there were amazing people to meet with it being based in an amazing neighborhood of New Orleans, Louisiana.

What can I say about Tipitinas that hasnt been said? Nothing. It's a legend in a city of legendary venues. On most nights, the lighting and sound are extraordinary as are the acts booked. Bartenders are fast and FoH staff are friendly and efficient. I can't wait to see how the venue does under the guidance of Galactic. Keep on keepin on!

Legendary NOLA club worth going any time but especially during Mardi Gras to pay homage to Professor Longhair. Fess is a legend in his own rite down here. Top acts will play here just to say they did it.

Fantastic music and dance venue. We ve gone to two of their zydeco shows and there s been a large crowd of friendly folks, most of whom were there to dance! Large dance floor and lots of seating around it.

Cover charge?? Why?? To hear some dad-band cover garbage songs that were played out decades ago?? The drinks weren't bad.. But the bartender sucks. Seems to think he's doing us a favor by mixing liquids.. Couldn't get his attention. Then when we did, he acted like he couldn't hear our order.. Pretty much yelling into his ear. Place is very dark and loud. The proprietors (Tiptina?) are very confused as to the process of returning a lost I.D. card/driver's license. You simply drop it in the mail and it's returned to the printed address free of charge by the USPS. They seem to think you need a fedex account number. Haha. No thanks. Holding customer's licenses hostage for NO reason is reason enough for me to never go to this place again. I guess if you hate someone, don't want to listen to or see them and want to punish them with awful music, THIS IS THE PLACE. Sorry Tina, NO TIP FOR YOU! Come back, one year!

New Orleans standard for music halls. Tipitina's has been hosting amazing music for decades, and doesn't look to slow down as it had been acquired fairly recently by the members of Galactic. I am 53 and first came to Tipitina's when I was 18 (legal drinking age in New Orleans back then). I have so many memories over years and years from here. Most if not all of the bastions of New Orleans music, many who have recently passed, have played here at some point. If you are visiting, I can't think of a more storied music hall at which to see a show. Definitely worth a cab/uber ride, so check it out. Only open for music, not a bar to hang out at and just drink.
