TimePayment Corp. Review

So far our experience has been good. We were led to believe that this was a finance deal not lease (not sure by whom) and didn't realize until signing that early payoff was "In-Full" not saving finance charges and in addition to a reasonable buyout fees.
The staff was very professional and courteous but only answered direct questions and didn't offer insight where we had some confusion.
All-In-All, we made the deal and hope that they release permission to our vendor to deliver the product as specified. We are fast-tracking our project!

Great company. They have the ability to helping company's that dont have access to traditional types of lending for equipment. They take you step by step in the process to help their clients accomplish goals, expand, and overall have a better understanding of business financing. I would recommend all customers and vendors to reach out to them.

In my experience You'll pay double the value of anything you finance through them. Deceptive, no communication, just terrible. STAY AWAY

I highly recommend time payment not only did they help me get money fast they stayed on top of the entire process from start to finish.

Very disappointed with there customer service and especially Sara Orlando very rude and unpleasant to deal with. My equipment was delayed and came in different times but the one piece of equipment to use all of it was delayed 3 months. i refused to make any payments till i received all of it. finally did and now i am getting charged declined transactions 3 times for one payment each month due and they need insurance on the equipment which i over looked so i provided insurance and i cannot get refunded, only one month when the insurance is back dated to conception and further more i cannot have insurance on equipment i have not received. Very difficult to deal with would never do business again. actually thinking of going to court over this because of how i am being treated. Now that i received all my equipment i am fine with making all my payments i'm not going to be nickled and dimed and treated unfairly!

I am truly disgusted by this business. I am not certain how their average star rating is 4 when I see plenty of people complaining about very similar things. I had to shut my doors during this pandemic and every other creditor is working with me at least until July. Guess what TIMEPAYMENT did? Despite my plead for them to work with me, they reported me late to the Credit Bureaus after advising me to apply (via an email) for deferment. They don't care at all for people during a GLOBAL HEALTH CRISIS. Worst experience in my life.

I just feel tricked. I did not choose this company. It was what was given to me to purchase hair loss equipment. My contract states one price that I will pay monthly. Then I get hit with a letter stating the mandatory insurance fee. Then I realize that it is not able to be canceled. Then my payment keeps going up and I don t know why. I just want it to end already!!!!!!

Using Time Payment was very easy and fast. I received approval for my application right away and my purchase was approved the same day.

Originally, I was a very dissatisfied with TimePayment's customer service. Luckily I was able to work with Kerrie Shaw after experiencing below par customer service from her team. Thankfully, Kerrie was able to pinpoint where communication had lapsed with respect to the transfer of financing for our particular account. Not only was Kerrie the ultimate professional, she worked with a quickness to find a solution.

Although I was not thrilled with the TimePayment's practices due to lack of transparency, Kerrie made the process smooth and effective and answered any/ every question that I had. My advice would be to anyone transferring into an account with TimePayment - ask questions about past activity.

Not sure if I would ever use this company ever again they've approved me for my purchase taken my 1st payment before I've even received the product. it's going on 3 weeks.

Time payment is a thief and cares about no one but themselves. I have been calling them and asking to have 2 payments deferred since COVID-19 and they refuse to consider it. I have been asking to speak with a supervisor and until now no one has returned my call. It has been about 4 weeks now. People if you want a loan go to your bank and do not take any loans from them. They charge 3 times the amount you borrow - very deceptive!!

I had a recent situation where I tried to got a loan from this company. Never once in my our transaction was explained interest rates that were to be applied to my loan. Admittingly I will confess it is semi my fault for not looking the contract over more closely before signing for the agreed upon time frame, but now here s where it gets bad. After realizing my moronic mistake I quickly called the company and explained my moronic mistake to one of the representatives who quickly assured me that he cancelled everything and that no further action was needed on my part. So for a day I felt like everything was fine then the second day hits and I see the product that I wante to purchase was already being shipped to me. Now I call back the company and explain what happened and what I was told and then get told that there was no way to cancel the order from their side after the contract was signed. So basically I was lied to and never properly told of the incurring interest rates of their payment plans. Definitely learned my lesson the hard way. Either way the shadynes of this whole encounter has left a bad taste in mouth from this buisness. I would never recommend and never want to deal with these low life s again. SHADY!!!

Update 1/8/19: I sent the poster below me an email and they have never gotten back to me and it s been over a month. But now to add to the insult of injury I get a letter in the mail from these crooks stating that I now need to pay insurance every month for the exercise machine I ordered. I was neve explicitly explained this over the phone. If I knew this I would have never ordered this in the first place. And I have yet to receive email notifications of payments like they said they would, plus I told them before that my mailing address is different from the place I live out so please send all mail there yet they still manage to mess all this up. Stay away from these thieves as far as you can!!!!

I have a business lease for equipment with Time Payment and have always paid on time for over a year on account. Over the xmas holiday I had a heart attach and the same week our business credit account was hacked into for fraudulent charges. It has taken me a while to get back up to speed and take care of everything. Imagine the surprise when they charge me for $20 each time the credit card was denied and they decided to add 5 of those charges. Now all of my other creditors sent me a nice little email or letter saying we are having trouble running the credit info and realize that cards expire or may need to be updated. I then simply called them to give them the current information. Time Payment decided to simply run the old card thru 5 times and charge me $20 each time before calling or contacting me via email to try to straighten out the information. When I finally did get a call they were rude, did not inform me that the credit info was outdated, they started with a creditor collection call, informing my employees that I owed them money and they were going to report me to credit bureau. I am very disappointed with how they have handled this and will NEVER use this insensitive company in the future for any purchases. I asked them if they could wave the $20 fees and they said they could only remove 2 of them after many phone calls, one of which I made a payment and the gentleman never expressed the fees owed. Disappointing & unprofessional customer service to say the least.

I really regret working with this company, if you can even call it that. They are financial scammers of the worst kind.

My wife can barely walk so I needed an electric wheelchair. Found the one I wanted and the company used TimePay. Applied for the money and was approved quickly. Everyone I spoke to at TimePay we re friendly and help me understand all of the paperwork. Within two days the wheelchair was ordered and on its way. Great to do business with VERY helpful.

If I could give zero stars I would! Leased/bought a camera lens from a company called Leasville using TimePayment. (Shortly after this Leasville stopped using TimePayment) This was the biggest mistake of my life, I took the same as cash rider and was given a pay off amount if paid off with in 12 months. I contact them as I have one payment left and they told me 1) I wasn't near they pay off amount and 2) even if I made the amount written into my agreement I would owe more than $300 in property taxes and interest. First off Since when is a camera lens considered eligible for property taxes?The terms of agreement actually state "Equipment Cost included all that NOT excluded.. I was also told by Customer service that my basic payments do not included taxes, My Agreement also stated otherwise. Now I feel as if are trying to get me for the entire 2 years instead of the 12 months same as case I agreed and signed up for.. Please tell me HOW this is good business?

I ve had the pleasure of financing two pieces of equipment so far. A welding machine, and Kirby Morgan dive helmet. Thank you for being so quick and efficient with your process. Looking forward to our next purchase.

I submitted my application and in less than a minute a revived approval. Scootaround called me to customize my order and then timepayment took care of the payment part, they were very communicative and very kind which made the process so pleasant. I would definitely recommend!!

Absolutely horrific experience. I am now stuck with useless equipment that cost me thousands of dollars to purchase thru TimePayment. Subsequently, my business failed before it could ever really get started. I exercised extreme patience and professionalism with this company. I did exactly what was requested of me by TimePayment to resolve a dispute I had with the vendor. I continually expressed that I wished to return the product due to product failure and horrendous vendor support. TimePayment would not allow me to do so, continually made me "wait just a day or so longer to see if the vendor comes thru", and after a 4 month charade the vendor closed its doors permanently leaving me with zero recourse. I even have correspondence from TimePayment representatives who agreed they themselves would return the faulty equipment! In the end, the vendor got paid, TimePayment will continue to get paid, and I am stuck with inoperable TRASH!!! Thanks TimePayment.

DO NOT SIGN any type of paperwork with this company!!! I am in the middle of a SCAM trying to protect my business and banking information. I was contacted by a sales rep from. Versatile Merchant Solutions. They pitched me a system that would save my business $4,200 in credit card processing fees. This goes back to the old adage.... if it sounds too good to be true, it is! Part of the issue is that there are at least three different companies involved in this fiasco, and none of them seem to know about the others... I signed one contract for credit card processing/equipment lease. Within the first week it was painfully apparent that the system would not be a good fit for my business. VMS was great. They told me to send back the equipment and that my lease could be canceled with no fees. Why then is TimePayment Corp. sending me correspondence that I am in a 48 month lease with them and that I owe them $239 per month!?!??? I m TERRIFIED that these scam artists are in possession of my banking information. DO NOT do business with these people. This is a disaster!

UPDATE: the legal department reviewed my case and said the contract is valid. They refuse to take accountability for shady business practices. I have taken measures to protect my bank account and my identity as this company is MOST CERTAINLY CORRUPT

Horrible Experience, under no circumstances will I ever take a lease with these people. Start paying $ 430 per month and end paying up $ 570. Do you want to be scammed? I present to you Timepaymemts. You do not need to answer my Review and the damage is done. Now you pay the consequences of your mistake with my Review, I already pay for the error of making a fraudulent contract with you.

My biggest issue I have is the insurance fee is not disclosed of $8.95 until after you get the contract to sign. You have the option to provide your own insurance and decline it but regardless it's still additional dollars spent on top of what you are quoted with tax. When you speak with a representative and they tell you the price including tax they also NEED to include the insurance option since it is MANDATORY by TIME otherwise its a hidden fee and very misleading and very poor business service. The signing process was easy nonetheless.

The people I dealt with were knowledgeable and very efficient. Response time was very fast. They provided all the information I needed along with any follow up I might need in the future.

Ok experience except would have needed me to sign an agreement to get half down for the job. The agreement said we were title owners of the vehicle/equipment and liable for the job when the customer is the one asking for the loan. They tried to say thats not true, just responsible for the parts but that is not what the agreement said (need custom agreements for each situation instead of a blanket agreement and it should be for the customer and not the shop as the shop is not the one asking for the money, its the customer). Our shop ended up paying for parts out of pocket so we didn't end up in any sort of political/legal problem and just got final payment at the end of the job so we didn't have to sign any agreement.

Very convenient in the drive now pay later game. And great 6 months same as cash payoff option.

Nothing will ever undo reporting my business credit. The first year is often hard for a start-up, but they had NO sympathy and reported my credit without notifying me. My business is now successful, but no thanks to them. As my business grows, I will make sure to never work with them again.

AL, on two separate phone calls talked me through the problem till I fully understood! You have My most GREATFULL(?) Thanks! I have to Say OUTSTANDING people you have on your team!

Unfortunately, during a time like now... in the middle of a pandemic and me running a party rental company you would think this company would have an understanding like many of the other creditors have been. Well, here to tell you no... I called them and asked them to remove my credit card from on file as it was no longer any good and instead they kept and continue to keep trying to charge it even multiple of times in one day and/or back to back all while charging me $20 each time. As of today, I have a total of 17 $20 charges due to this. Being that I refuse to pay those fees as my business is already struggling I as well have started to get late charges adding up to $312.99. Then to add more misery, whenever they decide to send you a statement or a letter they charge $5 for letters and $10 for statements as well $3 for tax processing fee which I have zero clue what this is. Totally out to an overall grand total of $706.99 and this isn't heartless during a pandemic on a company that obviously wouldn't be running at all. I reached out to them initially to ask for any kind of assistance as they did not have any, but instead have turned around and added all these added extra charges. Mind you, I have been paying each month through there website as well have spoken to them countless amount of times to get them to stop charging me and to remove my card with no success. Comes off as if they charge whatever they want whenever they want and we just have to pay whatever the fees are.

SO BEWARE... this isn't the type of company anyone should be looking into doing business with. Wish I would have known this from the beginning before getting myself locked into this situation. It's seriously awful and sad how much stress they have caused me during a time we all should be looking to help one another and it's a shame how they are treating small business owners like myself.

The professionalism of the Time Payment team is very important to me. They are easy to reach and speak with, also.
