Chris knocks it out of the park with his revival of Joia at Joia Beach. Awesome setting right on the water. Great atmosphere with the DJ keeping the energy going. Fast, friendly service and most importantly, the food was phenomenal. The type of place Miami Beach has been lacking for a long time. We will be back.

Extremely overrated, this is prob the worse place I have been in a long time. The ambiance was ok, but the manager is extremely rude, and the food was very limited and mediocre. I would not recommend it!

Disappointment. After they rescheduled 5 different reservations because of COVID and Trump rally, we finally sat for our 1pm reservation on Sunday for Brunch. Let s call this a drive thru. We were reminded of our maximum 2 hour time slot about 3 separate times. Our food came out sub-par and all at the same time. Never really had the chance to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere. Very sad that they have not figured a way to maximize this precious gem of a location. $1000 bill and all we remember is being rushed from the second we sat until our bill was left at the table. Joia....please change the way you treat your guests or nobody will return and nobody will refer anyone else to enjoy what COULD HAVE BEEN be a nice experience.

Super disappointed with the customer service. We went to have dinner with another couple since it had good reviews. Everything went ok, food and everything was average. But the review is not about the food or about the location, is about the valet. The I noticed that my designer brand glasses had been stolen from my car. They left the case but it was completely empty, so I call them to report the incident, so they can look into it and make sure it doesn t happen to other customers. They completely ignored my complaint. Not even an apology or let us look into it, nothing. Please make sure to not leave anything in the car because it can be stole and clearly Joia is not going to do any about it. They completely gave up on providing a class type customer service.

Made reservations more than three weeks in advanced but not honored at arrival. Never called to advise of possible cancellation. Social distancing not prevalently seen.

My buddy and I was looking forward to checking out Joia Beach club and that chance finally came today. Couldn't of made better choice the service was on top of their game can't find a lot that around Miami these days and I would like to thank Jeremy for a great time nothing was to much from him. Jeremy made us fill like we were at home can't appreciate that enough. I highly recommend Joia Beach and you better believe it I will be back again. Thank you Jeremy and thank you Joia for the good time during this crazy time.

Beautiful Place but if you are looking for good food this place is not it. Ordered the shrimp it very fishy and not flavor which the waitress stated it was spicy and it was not. The octopus was rubbery but was well seasoned. The chicken very bland. I would stop this place for drinks but I would not eat here again and recommend the food. The music was too loud and was not diverse.

Seafood, service and view was A one of a kind, grade A, excellent experience. Our server Jeremy made sure our first meal out of the house was especially enjoyable. Lovely, romantic venue to spend an afternoon away from it all.

The location is beautiful, but it lacks hospitality to a good extend. To me, the place was created for people to go and upload their photos on Instagram, not to create a food experience for guests. The price and the quality and taste are way off balance. The menu is limited and once it got to our table nothing really wowed me. Cocktails are pretty mediocre. The only person that made us feel welcomed was a venezuelan guy named Gerardo, which wasn't even our server, but took the diligence to ask if we were having a good time or if we needed anything from time to time. That was probably the best that happened during our dinner. Our server was ok. Could come back maybe for the scenery for definitely not because I would crave anything from their food or cocktail menu. Total disappointing because the location has the potential to be ine of the bests of the area.

WOW ! That is all I can say... you think you are in Greece or in St Tropez. Perfectly located, beautifully decorated, amazing hosts, great music (not too loud), great drinks...can t wait to taste the food... Definitely the new "IN" spot of Miami...it was about time.

Amazing place, i love the vibe! The staff was very friendly. Cocktails are very weak...My friend warned me but I've decided to try it and I definitely recommend ordering wine or any other alcohol in a bottle! The food was good, nothing special for the amount of money you pay..... If i would go back? Yes, but to the beach club, not the restaurant.

Recently dined in here and I can tell the atmosphere wasn t welcoming to black guests. I felt so uncomfortable and disregarded. I wanted to celebrate getting my PhD and other accomplishments however service didn t go well. The food was bland and customer service was absolutely unwanting. I suggest venturing out and eating else where.

The location is nice, but the food lack taste. They have a very limited menu, I guess it has to do that they are cooking out of some trailers. For the reviews we expected better quality. When I made the reservation they told us that only 4 people max per table, then we got there and they had some tables of six people. The drinks are good, but after the 3rd drink they change our glasses for smaller glasses. Overall great location but food needs improvement.

We needed a place like this, for our daily getaways, they have everything covered. I had a great experience and all of my senses were pleased! I'm compelled to write about my experience, because I had someone guide me on my sensory journey. Jeremy took exceptional care of my party, anticipating needs, I didn't even know I had. Hospitality has been lacking more and more over the years, but Jeremy has given me hope again. When you get the chance to check out this new gem, ask for Jeremy, you won't be disappointed.

Best place on Sundays if you can get a reservation. Fortunately we get to spend mornings till afternoon there on Sundays. The octopus, shrimp and churasco are phenomenal. Private beach and great music. Barak is awesome always treats us like royalty. I see this place staying on the Miami scene for years to come.

Great Location and good food. However we ordered mushroom side and was charged for it but never came. My fault for not checking the bill until I got home. Just a reminder that always check the bill.

Nobody in the area knows about the place
The hostess saw us coming right the way said to have the mask on without saying hi
Then as we approached she said that without reservation we are not going to have a table and she can make a reservation for the next time
Knowing that people have been in the sun for such a long time and not even try to assist that s very rude

Atmosphere, Elegance, Service! Joia is fantastic! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Joia beach for dinner and it was a great experience. I met some old friends for dinner and it was a very memorable evening. We arrived around 5:30pm for cocktails and apps while we waited for our final guest to join us for dinner. We had the Turkish Octopus & Tiger prawns to start which I highly recommended. They bring out some bread and olives that are great to munch on while relaxing. As our final guest arrived around 6:30 a pod of dolphins swam by!!! So cool! The service was phenomenal! Our waiter Jeremy and his cohorts a provided true fine dining experience that was simply over the top. We enjoyed the Dover sole and Prime Angus tomahawk for dinner family style and just really fell back into the old life of carefree conversation with close friends at an amazing restaurant with great food and service. The only bad part was leaving. But I will definitely be back soon. Thanks again for the great experience!

Atmosphere: dropping your car off at the valet you enter through a long pathway framed with plants & . The private pristinely white beach frames a large Polynesian-style roof covering about 25 tables plus another 15 or so right on the sand. Rustic Indonesian furniture sets the tone for the interior. Pretty view towards the Venetian and (parts of) the #Edgewater skyline. 9/10.

Crowd: you should check yourself - but last Saturday absolutely top notch (both on the female and - as my girl @Stacy.Schauerte confirmed - on the male side). Amazing vibe & crowd, hence a rare 10/10.

Food: the kitchen is essentially an open grill and seems a little makeshift but the output are very tasty, Mediterranean-inspired food items. Good #hummous #tsatsiki with freshly-baked pita. Grilled octopus on a delicious lentil sauce, tiger prawns also decent. Baklava dessert with pistachio ice cream (only option) pleasant, too. 8/10

Drinks: they have #MoetIce & #veuverich!! Big plus!!! Large, creative cocktail selection, many beer & large bottle options - fueling the feel-good factor. #Demisec makes it a clear 9/10. It they add #Cokezero to the menu = 10!!!

Service: a little improvised as we changed tables but afterwards up to high standards. A slight wait for the check as out waitress got sidetracked taking photos of the many patrons looking to get a perfect pic of the sunset (actually very nice of her ) 8/10

They canceled on me 4 different times literally the night before and the day of. I find this extremely unprofessional especially when they make up excuses as to why they had to cancel. The girl on the phone told me they canceled based on the time you booked the reservation which was for people who booked couple hours after they first opened the online reservation system. I booked my first 2 reservations within the first couple minutes so I knew the reason was totally made up. The same thing happened to some of my friends who've made reservations on different dates. I was originally excited to come here but don't care to anymore.

Top service, great atmosphere , delicious food.. and amazing staffs our waiter was exceptional . Roger is the best!

I went with my brother. It would have been redonkiously romantic if I wasn't with, you know...my brother. Besides that- the view and fish were phenomenal. Salad was the standard order organic fresh blah balh blah you'd expect from a place this fancy. Big ups to my server Jerremy. Its not the last time I'll be there!

It's a magical setting. The front office staff and wait staff were very attentive and amenable. The only reason they get a 3 and it's a big reason, the food. The food is the center piece of any restaurant. You can't bring half the parties dishes and then 10 minutes later bring the other's. All dishes were barely warm. Even after sending mine to be cooked more , it can back lightly warm. I know it's open air place, but it was a warm evening and not windy. You have most of the formula, just get the rest of it together.
