The service was incredibly slow. I almost got up and left. The red chile isn't real. It's gelatinous muck. We were not impressed.

This is an update to my previous post. They have new management and this is one of my new favorite places! They changed their chile recipe and it"s the best! The service is friendly and fast.

Tim's is closed now, but dining there was a pleasurable experience. The food and service were excellent. We'll miss not being able to visit again. Best of Luck Tim with your next adventure in Denver Colorado!

I've never been here, and only heard about this place thru a video on facebook, many kids with special needs are rarely able to ever fulfill their dreams.. Tim is one of the few.. It's great to see something like this.. Definitely one of a kind...

Tim's Place is a great breakfast and lunch restaurant. I recommend trying one of the Chile dishes and personally I prefer the green Chile. The red Chile was a little bitter for me. But you can always ask for Christmas on the Side and get both red and green! Tim also offers free hugs with every meal, so don't leave without one!

FINALLY, we made the trip to town today with our grandsons to have lunch at Tim's Place. I got a little lost on the drive up, so I phoned. Tim answered and gave me directions. When we got there, as Tim opened the door for us to go in, and I said thanks, he said, "You're the lady I was giving directions to, aren't you!" We got our hugs and were seated. The food was delicious; our grandsons (twin 15 year olds) said they wanted to come back when we return! It was, indeed, a happy place to be. Our waiter said he'd been there 1 1/2 years, and that Tim's optimistic attitude made it the best place to work. We drove home--happy and full!

I heard about Tims place a few years ago. Growing up with a sister, who was born with Down syndrome, I was moved by his story. My mother and I finally made it here. 1700 miles from home. Unfortunately, Tim was out of town the day we stopped. But, we did have a great lunch. Our server Sara was very sweet, and very attentive. All in all. The trip was well with it. I will be back.

The pancakes and a side of bacon is delicious. Good coffee. Excellent service. Clean, pleasant quiet atmosphere. Highly recommend. Warning: Red chili isn't great. Locals will be disappointed. Still rates 5 plus stars.
