We had our rehearsal dinner here on a Tuesday night. Although reservations were ser for 25 people, the staff was very flexible when we had 40 guests. They served us buffet style with delicious kahula pulled pork, teriyaki chicken and mahi mahi. The views from Tikis are gorgeous!

Great view and reasonable prices for Waikiki. Decent mix of locals and tourists. Mai Tai was not the best I've had, but everything else was good. They have live bands and Hula some nights.
Great place to grab a drink and enjoy the sunset. There is a requirement to get a reservation, but I was able to walk-in and they txted me when a table was ready. The sunset from here is unbelievable. Get a table on the balcony, and you'll have uninterrupted views to the beach and palm trees at sunset. Their volcano cocktails are also insane! Get a cocktail, or a beer and enjoy some nibbles with company.
The female staff wear very cute shorts and tight tank tops; whereas the male staff wear long, baggy cargo shorts and loose polo shirts. If they want to objectify one group I think it is only fair to ojectify both. Hopefully next time I visit the male staff members will have some tighter shorts and unbutton those polo shirts!
Great place for happy hour 2 to 5 great drinks great and happy service and the food is exelent specially the fish sanwiches hope u can visist and try it out for tourself xoxo
Had a great meal today at tikis today, the ahi poke bowl was great. However my opinion on the place changed after I checked my bank statement. I paid for my meal with a credit card and was given a written receipt to write in tip and total to which I gave a 20% tip of $6.60 for my small meal which brought my total to $41.14 including taxes. When I checked my banking after leaving it said I was charged $47.18 which I hope was simple error and not done with malicious intent or it may indicate that someone had changed the 1 to a 7 and the 4 to an 8. If you eat at tikis you might want to see if the same was done to you. Luckily it was only a couple bucks for me but if this is a regular occurrence that money adds up and would be considered serious credit card fraud.
The view is awesome! Food is good. Try the prime rib pok'e. All kinds of kona brewing drafts., but try a mai tai or get one of their drinks they make in a cool glass you get to keep. Great service! Did I say awesome view
I love the view from this place. You are at the tops of the palm trees looking over Waikiki beach. You have a great view of the skyline during the day and especially for the sunset. They have a great happy hour menu and the food is great. One of my most recommended restaurants along Waikiki.
Tiki's was recommended by a friend as a MUST VISIT. to be honest we were disappointed. The beer was warm and flat, my cocktails weren't terrible although the lychee martini had an old soggy lychee in it .. the food was very so so, my seafood risotto was an odd Mix of flavours, the chicken linguine was tasteless however the gyoza and lettuce cups were tasty. the service was super slow, however our waitress was lovely, but in the end the price we paid made it hard to swallow, sorry we couldn't have given a higher star.
The fresh catch and Thai salad were amazing. Was kinda upset they didn't have the souvenir coconut cup, but still giving a 5 because everything else was stellar
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HAVE THEIR 1944 MAI TAI! IT IS THE BEST ON THE STRIP AND PROBABLY IN ALL OF HONOLULU. I WAS THERE FOR A WEEK AND TRIED OTHER PLACES LIKE THE HULA GRILL AND DUKES, ALL OK BUT NOTHING COMPARED TO THE 1944 MAI TAI AT TIKIS GRILL. AMAZING BURGERS ALSO.
My husband and and I stopped in for lunch and had a good experience. We sat outside and had a very nice view of the beach. The only reason i did not give it 5 stars was because of the construction going on which is no fault of the restaurant. We were provided amazing service by our server Thomas who was always one step ahead of what we needed. The kitchen staff was also very accommodating with my order. I'm one of those people that only likes flats. Most restaurants have their wings premixed by weight and will not change it.This kitchen took the time to separate and weigh the wings. The wings came out juicy and crispy. My husband ordered the Portobello wrap and loved it. We also had shared the mixplate.
Environment was very 70 s Vegas. Food portions were small and over priced compared to other place similar. The only up side was the view of the sunset.
The drinks and the food were AMAZING! You have to try the 1944 Mai Tai and the tuna poke. I wasn t expecting much with it being a touristy area on Waikiki but this place was fantastic. I only wish that I had discovered it earlier in my vacation!
Really love visiting here. Great drinks. Great service. The edamame is absolutely the best I ve ever had. Tuna melt, soup, and club sandwich. Valet at hotel is free for three hours. Beach and sunset view is perfect. Three visits to the island and this is a must.
I had my reception at this venue and it was great. First I want to say that Jenni and Jennifer were amazing. They were extremely detailed, professional, helpful and as always responded promptly to every question or concern that I had. I had a destination wedding, so I was a little nervous about the arrangements. But everything worked out great. I was able to drop off my centerpieces the day before and for setup and that helped me out a lot. The food was great and my guests loved it. We were in the Lava Club which was semi-private and a partition was put up and it worked out well to have an intimate setting in the restaurant.
There was a Kona beer that I didn't see very often. I asked it but it was quite bitter. I like ordinary long board and Kona beer better ~
Here, I asked for something like fried gyoza and white fish with cream, and caprese. Everything was delicious (^ ^) It seems that you can sit on the terrace when you make a reservation. Decoration is interesting in the shop and can be satisfied, but terrace seemed comfortable
There was Honolulu Zoo near immediately. Walking distance. I couldn't go without time, but it would be good to come here after enjoying the zoo.
This is one of my favorite Waikiki restaurants. The service is awesome. The food is great. The view of the sun setting over the beach is the absolute best. Go on open table and always make a reservation before you go because it stays crowded.
Happy hour was a great value and the food was amazing! I recommend the mixed plate sampler with ribeye, chicken and fish. Best we have had! Great view of the surf and excellent service!
Absolutely loved the view... The Truffle oil garlic edamame was the best I ever tasted, must order... $2 Taco Tuesday and $3 Kona Island Lager is a great combination... Highly recommend this place... :)
The staff was friendly and we had prompt service. The view was awesome! Right on Waikiki Beach. The food was okay. Mediocre. There are better food places near by.
It was my last night in Oahu, I was very pleased to have chosen this place as my last dinner spot.
The place was busy, but that's expected as it was raining and everyone was trying to find shelter. I started off with some drinks, I ordered the 1944 Mai Tai, it was better than expected. The Monkey, it was delicious! The Mango Mojito, this was refreshing. As for the entree, I had the Miso Butterfish, this was good but I felt as if it may have been slightly overcooked, so it was a little dry. The greens and the brown rice made up for it. All in all I only tried one of their food items, so I can't say much about their foods, but their drinks were really good, and I would try more of their food items next time.
What made this place receive a nice 4 star from me was the interaction I had with the bar tender! Hunter was a gentleman, and a great conversationalist, he had a few good tips about Oahu and it's north shore. Apparently the North Shore is the vacation spot for the locals to Oahu. Hunter was helpful in answering any questions about the drinks/food items, took his time and gave you his devoted attention despite how busy he was with helping other clients. This alone made my experience a good one, and I sincerely thank him for his kindness, thank you Hunter.
I will be back to Oahu and i will be back at Tiki's to try more of their food items.
Just great - wonderful staff, fantastic atmosphere and good food and drinks. Definitely a place I'd take guests or recommend to tourists for a themed evening of dining!
Horrible service!! I decided to come to this place based on how many stars they had, but after my experience AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN. Take your money and time somewhere else, I promise you won't regret it.
Made reservations & ended up in The back corner of the restaurant, was told if we wanted to be within hearing distance of the live entertainment that wed be waiting an extra hour. Got sat next to a 13 person party thar was there to drink. It was awful. This was my 1 year wedding anniversary & romantic failed to exist. Couldnt ever hear my wife during conversaton. On a side note, though... the food was awesome. But for the price it should have been much more enjoyable. Will not be returning.
Having dinner now and it was great! Our food was perfect and the service was even better! Our severs name was kim HE WAS GREAT ASK FOR KIM AND TIP HIM WELL!!
Fantastic place for a meal with a great view of the ocean. Food is outstanding, staff and service is exceptional. Thanks so much guys, look forward to coming next time we are in Hawaii!
Giving tikis two stars for the ambiance and service. Great view of the sunset during dinner time. However the food is terrible. Ordered 5 entrees and none of them were worth the $40 per plate. My filet mignon was extremely over cooked and very thin, the other steak we ordered was served cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen unfortunately. 3 out of the 5 of us were sent home with upset stomachs! However our waitress was understanding and provided good service.
