Tom was extremely helpful when we came in looking to order a family ring for me and a watch for my husband. We had two small children with us and he was very patient and understanding. When I couldn't find what I was looking for in the store, he emailed me a link with more options that I could browse when I had some quite time at home. Once I found what I wanted, they custom ordered it for me and it arrived a few days earlier than expected. The ring turned out gorgeous. Remade a ring for me with my moms stones to go with my ring my husband got me for Christmas worked and worked til they found something that I like and worked looks great and they were very patient with me cause I had a certain look in my head but at the same time had a budget and managed to stay there. Love this place. I just moved here from Kent and met my love. Found a gorgeous ring that's still in layaway but I know she'll love it. Great price for what it is too. Great staff I've dealt with couple of them on my ring already they've been very pleasant and knowledgeable answering my questions. Didn't try to make me buy something bigger and pricier. Tom was great in tracking down the exact engagement ring I was looking for. He was extremely on top of correspondence via email and navigating the COVID hurdles, as well as keeping me in the loop as we looked for the right ring. Even came in on his day off after vacation to let me pick it up to accomodate my timing. The ring turned out phenomenal and my Fiance is super happy. She returned to have it resized and they had it done in two days. Highly recommend Thurber's.

I chose to have my engagement ring custom made here. The employees are super friendly and very accommodating. I was in and out of this place a few times during the design process and every time was a pleasant experience. Once I had my 3 year old son in with me and they were so nice and welcoming to him and even gave him some little plastic diamonds to play with. My ring is absolutely gorgeous and made perfectly. The end price was a tad higher than the quoted price, and I was given a voucher which was used to purchase my husband's ring later. Both rings were ready for pick up much earlier than expected and we are beyond happy with the jewelry and the service that we received.
Have been for a couple sizing things and great to have a small business to go to for these things. Honest and friendly. Going to take a ring I have to be made into 2 matching ones this spring!
